CHAPTER 49: A PROVING OPPORTUNITY.

"It would be futile, not even its fertilization happened!" Said another Healer who was Rose's subordinate.

"They brought seven Vampire women but none of them succeeded. Their eggs are fused, unable to accept cells from Lycanthrope. What are we supposed to do, Rose?" Ask the others.

The frustrated Rose could only sit down and look at the seven women lying in front of him. "It's over... It is impossible to create anything beyond our ability... I'm afraid, we've crossed the line"

"Rose... Fertilization in this woman seems to work..."

Rose was surprised, rushing over to the sleeping woman. A speck of light appeared on the glowing dust flying above him, a small light that was right above the woman's belly. "Hey, don't you see the light on that door?" Asked one of the Elders while pointing towards the top corner of the door that had a bright red radiant crystal. Red luminous crystals are used to indicate that a meeting is in progress, but when the light turns green, then anyone is allowed to enter.

Rose bowed, "I'm sorry, but I want to say something."

Adam got up from his seat, "What is that?"

Rose's bead met Adam's eyes, the reassuring look made Adam realize something,

"The release was successful."

We are not allowed to bring supplies, but we can only carry one of the most useful objects. Of course I bring it to my own, it will be very useful in any situation.

"What did you bring?" Ask Jack to Chlea.

"I brought this cloth, just in case to make a tent" replied Chlea.

Wait, so the group is really at random? And sure enough, they made groups of 7 people from different nations. That means, there's no way I'm in the same group as my own clan. I will definitely be in his group with other people.

Wait, something's weird here. Where are all my group of friends? I turned around and looked around, there was no sign of them, not even Dylan was here.

I look up when I hear something. I was hoping it was my friends, but it was just a herd of deer whose horns were filled with glowing spots. They walked together through a calm-looking stream, far ahead.

But seeing her take pains trying to move my hand, made me feel pity.

I followed his request. Immediately I walked towards the bushes there. Then I saw someone lying on the ground. Once I got close, it turned out to be Piers!

"Piers..get up!" I lifted his head and shook his body to wake him up. Slowly Piers blinked his two beads and finally realized Gara's existence.

"The way! Thank goodness I met you!"

Piers cried and immediately hugged me. I don't understand, didn't he stay away from me, we didn't even talk all this time. But why are Piers suddenly like this? He looks so scared.

"Hey.. You why?" I was trying to calm Piers down.

"I've been looking for you all day, I think I've been lost. I asked the fairies and the trees, but they didn't see where you were" she explained.

"Everyday? But Piers, didn't we just get here 5 minutes earlier?"

My question leaves Piers speechless. Wait, this is so weird. We had just entered the portal for the second test, but why did Piers say he had been in this forest all day and looked for our whereabouts?

Then suddenly a fawn ran past us. Then a bunch of believable spots in my head flew after the fawn, as did one of the fairies who helped me find Piers. Now, it's just the two of us. What am I supposed to do?

"I thought you were afraid of me? We haven't talked all this time, and you always leave when you see me" I said as I walked away from Piers. However, my plan made him follow me successfully. Like a kitten who lost its mother, Piers followed me behind.

"That's right, you're afraid of me?" I asked to find a definite answer.

"I told you, I don't understand, Gara. I'm not afraid of you, but... Uh! Anyway I don't understand..." Piers clucked in annoyance.

"Nothing, just tell me" I stopped stepping and turned to look at him.

The two Piers eye beads that were pointing at me were really so pretty, it had been a long time since I had met those eye beads, it felt like the world was doing fine if he looked at me. So soothing.

"You know, the Fairy people have instincts almost like animals? Ever since the night the news about you I heard, I kept feeling scared of you. No, but with what's inside you.
