...Sagara Northcliff Andromeda...
...POVS...
We returned to the Academy safely, no one should be hurt, no one should be worried. Except when we were confronted by Mr. Neanderthals by our own doing.
True, even though we managed to trick everyone, but the consequences themselves were in our hands. Like Light who almost became a piece of fresh meat.
Fortunately Mr. Neanderthals did not expel us from the Academy, but as our redeemer, we must obey the punishment. Every day we had to catch a mole in the Academy garden, it became apparent from Selena's wreath to get some magic dust.
If that dispensation is all Mr. Neanderthals, maybe a lot of disciples would also break the rules. We had to compile new books on the shelves of the library that were so high, and lastly ran around the field in the forest 3 times.
Our days are back to normal after that. No more breaking the rules, no more crazy ideas from Dylan. My brother kept laughing considering how we ended up getting caught by the teachers. Every time I meet him, he will always be.
I also have no regrets despite getting a lot of punishment from Mr. Neanderthals themselves, because my wish was achieved. I can see Dad ascending the throne. I can be a beautiful mother in an Angkara royal dress, and I can see Brother Allegro.
I'm currently in an extra class, an anthropology class. Classes that study human beings. Not many people take this class, not until there are 20 people if. Mostly even the nations of the sky.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Walbrun. I was called to the teaching room before coming here" the voice made everyone turn towards the door. There Castiel walked and approached Mr. Walbrint, who was at the front, was opening a book page to start classes.
"What's wrong, the class hasn't started yet. You can sit with Gara there" said Mr. Walbrint. Instantly everyone looked at me and turned around to whisper as everyone has been doing lately.
Right, the incident that night still keeps everyone away from me. Even Declan tried to hide her fear every time we met, she always tried to look better than people. Sometimes when Declan talks to me, I just want to laugh looking like I want to run away from me. While the hatred of people is becoming more and more so every day.
"That's not what Mr. Walbrint, I'll-"
"Sit down with Gara and I'll start the class."
Castiel nodded doubtfully and walked slowly towards me. That blank look convinced me that he was trying to get rid of the negativity in his mind.
When he got to my side, he was still silent, as if his entire body was frozen.
"Castiel" called me to wake him up.
"ah! Y-yeah Gara...?"
"Are you going to stand up?"
Castiel shook his head quickly and sat himself in the long chair beside me. Even though I know he's sitting at the end of the chair, but let him. As long as he's comfortable. Then the class started.
There was no sound between us during that time. Castiel only spoke to the disciple in front, asking them to explain some things he did not understand. I don't want to make him uncomfortable by trying to fix things.
I just focused on listening to Mr. Walbrint the heavenly being who keeps explaining about human civilization and their human rights.
Then I started to remember what happened when Light was arrested at the bar last week. There are a lot of people there.
I raise my hand to ask, "Mr. Walbrint, let me ask you a question. How are human rights treated in our lives?"
And everyone turned towards me, and so did Mr. Walbrint seemed eager to discuss this.
"Good, good question, Gara. But why are you questioning that?" Ask.
"The human being is at the lowest level of life, for some nations call it food. And what you're saying is, they should be equal to our lives, are you silly?" Someone's in front of there.
"For so long no one has questioned the order of life between the human race and the Supernatural. The irony once a Hybrid questioned it blatantly?" The other law.
"Calm everything" Mr.'s soft voice. Walbrint made everyone look up to him.
"Since long ago, when the people of the western mainland began to travel to the north and find the civilization of the human race that carried out a massive revolution. Our nation began to enter and promote their lives. Most take over the government system, some change the structure of their lives. True, that era was the time when the human race and the Supernatural nation worked together. The human race has a weak heart. Some of them began to inject doctrines about the humiliation of the human race. The human race is beginning to be affected, and they cannot balance two different lives. Their success collapsed, and their entire living system began to be controlled by our nation. Until now, our society that is consumed by the doctrine continues to grow and treat humans arbitrarily" explained Mr. Walbrun.
"That's because there's a normalization about humans being considered prey?" My toot.
Mr. Walbrint nodded, "Some of the country's higher-ups are trying to reorganize this unbalanced life, but fighting culture is a difficult thing to conquer. It's like you're fighting your own people."
"Then what efforts are made by the nation that is the foundation of this life, Mr. Walbrint?" My toot. That made Castiel look at me.
"Your people play an important role in life on earth. Why has this happened even since ancient times?" My welcome.
"You're trying to blame my people, Gara?" Castiel.
"I'm not saying your people are guilty, Castiel. However, aren't you supposed to feel what I'm feeling right now?"
Castiel was stunned for a moment, as if he had realized for some reason. Then Mr. Walbrint laughed, "Never in a century has this happened in my classroom. No one's bothered about what happened to the Earth's order of life except you, Gara. I'm really impressed that finally someone really has a reason to join this class."
"As I said, Gara. All Supernatural beings of the clan were consumed with the doctrine long ago. Even angels have their own rules for treating people."
Castiel frowned as if he did not accept, "But the councils always listen to the prayers of men. We lower the seed of the fetus to those who ask, give blessings, send rain. Never once have we cheated that on the human race."
"Despite that, their fate is still the same. They live in real fear. Once the doctrine has developed, it is difficult to change it again. Even the possibility of a massive revolution for life on earth in a long time" said Mr. Walbrun.
"Follow the earlier figures who fought for human life..."
I glanced once at Castiel. He seemed to understand what Mr. Walbrint, but at first glance I feel that he feels so guilty about what happened.
"It's not your fault, you know?" I muttered on the sidelines of my writing activities.
"This has been going on for a long time, it has nothing to do with our generation. Even so, I want to change the Supernatural nation's viewpoint on humans."
Castiel finally turned his head towards me, "I should have realized that long ago."
"Once that doctrine develops, it's hard to change it back" I said, copying Mr. Walbrun.
"That's what happened to me, the Hybrid that everyone doesn't like" I pressed as I continued to write.
Every now and then I glanced at Castiel, he just silently looked at me, then straightened his gaze back.
"true too... That doctrine is terrible..."
"Yes..."
