Xavier was confused by Allison's words which he did not know how to interpret. What he should do, what the words mean.
Did I say anything about breaking up?! You said we were just friends! Are you stupid or what!? Now get the fuck out of here!
He didn't say anything about breaking up, but he was angry about their status as just friends, he told Xavier stupidly and lastly he told him to leave.
What do all those words mean. Xavier had better be told to look for the flaws in the law rather than to interpret the obscure words of these women.
Recalling their words earlier, Allison was angry that she was not acting like a lover. Plus this case, maybe she meant, she told me to leave because she was stupid. But who said anything about breaking up?! What the girl was trying to tell him. Jeez, his head throbbing deciphering all these dizzying words.
David Montgomery came later to join him at the bar. He felt responsible to Xavier because this was also his fault.
"Brother, how are you. You talked to Allison, how it went." He immediately joined Xavier as soon as he said he was at the bar where they used to drink. Just like Allison, there was nothing she could think of other than last night's events. All their work ended up in a mess today.
"Bad, he said I was stupid and told me to leave. I actually touched on what he wanted.."
"You mentioned what he wanted? How could that happen."
Now that Xavier recounted their second-by-second talk, his memory was strong enough as a lawyer so he knew what he remembered was right. David listened to her seriously. A moment later until the end he smiled.
"I think he blames you for not treating him like a lover, you just consider him a friend, he understands you didn't tell me to tease him, but at the same time you're not jealous of me either, you're uninterested in his feelings, he understands you're not telling me to tease him, he wants you to think of a lover as not a close friend, you're more concerned with his father's feelings."
"So what should I do? What does his last sentence mean?"
"That means go after her, make her feel like she deserves to be your lover." David answered with confidence.
"But he told me to go and said I was stupid? You're sure that means."
"Look at you brother, you are a fool, you deserve to be told to go. Your memorization is useless in front of women. Look at all the fault points he mentioned in the talk, he told you to go in the last sentence because you asked him what you should do instead, obviously all you have to do is go after him and don't let him go until his father threatens to kill you. He's gonna fight his father for you."
"If that's not me daring, I don't have the guts to fight the Secretary of Defense. Sent by one agent I'm dead. You're kidding me."
"You are stupid Xavier! The point is not that! You didn't hear him guarantee that his father wouldn't affect your career. He wants you to solve this problem with him not to take his father with you, he says you pay more attention to his father's interests than he does, chasing him like the woman you adore. You're not even jealous when I seduce her, instead you're acting justifiably. And as for her father, you wanted to ask her father's permission instead of calling her a lover, you're not normal. Fight a little, you suck Brother. Just don't understand."
David Montgomery reveals at length what Xavier's fault was with emotions, he just found out that he did not call Allison his lover their status even just a good friend.
