Mr. The Lawyer Fatal Attraction

Mr. The Lawyer Fatal Attraction
Part 70's. The Dad Preferences 2

POV Xavier

I finally got to the restaurant where I promised to meet Allison's father. I tried to think positively, as Allison said, Her father must have approved of us. But I feel guilty, I should have told him before this happened.

But since everything is happening now all I have to do is apologize to Sir Austin for my indecision.

I got to the restaurant first, afraid he would have to wait for me. Not how long I saw the old man his figure was still walking firmly at the age of 60 years. The life experiences he shared with me were precious, he might be my client but I felt he was my teacher.

"Sir." I got up and greeted him. With takjim regretting it.

"Xavier, you haven't seen you in a long time. But good, that means no problem."

"I think so Sir. No problem means." His way of speaking doesn't look like he's upset with me thankfully. It might be true Allison said I thought too much, she would approve of us.

He sat down, this Italian restaurant he often chose. Looking at the menu book we made the order as usual because it's lunch. I waited for him to talk about what he was going to bring. But before he asks I want to apologize first.

"Sir, I want to apologize to me for the commotion I caused. I should have asked you for permission about Allison."

"Allison told me about you guys. What's going on is actually, I'm getting the impression he's after you first isn't." Sir Lyold chuckled.

"Surely he's forcing you to acknowledge his existence. He's not afraid to go ahead. He really likes you." Sir Lyold stopped for a moment. "Do you want to be with my daughter?"

"Sir, I see you as my teacher. Allison is your daughter, we just walked together. She had a choice so much, yesterday she said she was introduced by her mother to Haugen's son they had everything. I told him he was free to choose but he said he's not going anywhere, you know me, I'm just a professional. To be honest I may have been a bad choice for him, but he insisted, I was not willing to hurt him. If you allow me to ask your permission for us to be together."

"What if I don't allow it." A difficult question, I thought this question might be a difficult trap. But I have to be logical.

"Allison is young, she has a bright future. If there wasn't me, maybe he'd be a little sad, but there must be someone for him. She's your only daughter, I don't want you to lose your daughter, maybe Allison will hate me, but I don't want to be a barrier between you and your daughter. So if you don't give permission, I'm not gonna give you trouble Sir." I would have left if Sir Austin hadn't given me permission. I will not oppose his words because to me opposition will not produce anything.

"You don't think about my daughter's feelings."

"He'll hate me that's obvious, but the feeling will change, he'll hate me not fighting for it, but then he'll forget slowly, Allison will be fine with the new guy. It may seem like I don't care about his feelings, but what I care about is that he's not separated from his family because of me. I think it is caring in another form. I'm not going to trouble a lot of people with unnecessary decisions."

Sir Austin smiled. I am still listening to his words.

"As I expected of you. You can think wisely." What does this mean I wasn't given permission. I ventured to ask.

"Sir means you won't give us permission."
