"Dear, I'm back to you." I hugged her as she opened her apartment door.
After I went to see Mom and a friend and this time for the first time I went to her apartment.
"Let's go inside." He hugged me in and looked around his apartment. Neat, minimalist design, indeed most apartments are made in this style. But outside the room is neat, after the living room there is a large room in the middle of the bulkhead for work, the books of the law are neatly arranged. Computer with comfortable seating.
Documents neat. There are no papers everywhere. He's a neat guy or he cleans it when I come.
"Are you this lute?"
"I am neat. It's easier for me to find something. It's complicated to find just one document I have to dig into a pile of documents." Apparently he's neat. I love this neatness, it's so much better than my room.
"I'm messy. My work room is not this neat. I confess." I'm sneaking.
"The word creative process people need a rather chaotic atmosphere. You just look at artists, none of them are neat."
"That's satire?"
"That's a fact that needs to be accepted." He grimaced at me. "How did you meet your mother." It turned out that he was immediately curious at the outcome of our meeting.
"Hmm. He betrothed me to someone."
"She's betrothed you to someone?"
"Yes...." I told you what happened. Everyone, there's nothing I'm covering up. Including apparently from the results of my bragging seems to even generate interest in me."What do you think." She'll be jealous, what she thinks. I'm curious of course.
"Darling, I can't say anything about that. If you're asking me if I'm jealous, if I'm jealous, if that's your choice I can't say anything. What do you want me to do, get angry at you. We are still in the status of lovers not husband and wife. I trust you, but if you want to go tell me we're done fine."
He is too logical, perhaps at an age like him peace-running love is more valuable than love that many obstacles. I have to accept he doesn't want to be bothered with drama scenes.
"Stiff lawyer, I'm not going anywhere." I hugged him and he put his arm around your shoulder.
"Are you sure. Like your mom's rich, she's got a superyacht. And I'm sure you can get one, just look at your girlfriend list, all heavyweight." I grimaced.
"I can buy VVIP class cruise tickets." He was laughing right now. Superyacht is awesome, but there are many ways to get there. There is a rental until boarding a cruise ship.
Curious edition of the Caribbean royal suite.
"Well we'll try VVIP cruise sometime, I've seen the ad, it seems it's worth a try."
"How do we wait for the hotel bonus to come out." The conversation becomes when we go on vacation together. And not bothered by the fact that I was introduced to someone by my mother.
"I'll tell you at the beginning I already had a boyfriend. I'm not gonna fool anyone else. When I was talking about my business I actually just wanted him not to underestimate me, I didn't beg to get acquainted with him. Besides, when I met him, I didn't know my mom was organizing the show at all.
"Ohh so. You're not afraid to lose the project."
"I'd rather be suspected beggar of the project." now Xavier laughed.
"Well you're the greatest, I'm giving up on you. Do what you like, if he acts rude I'll beat him up as your official lover."
"Official love. The official word is there may be black over white. What language are you speaking? There's a special term about this official lover."
"You're the only one who can stay here and Westbury whenever you want. You can ask Alma to make you a cake, or any food you like. What else do you want? I don't have an idea."
"I am the owner of your only body... Why don't you say that." I kissed her quickly, still anxious with her burly arms. Wanting her to hug me and hold me firmly, while she laughed with my words just now.
"The bad girl*um, what's on your mind now."
"You believe me now Sir Xavier, do you think I would be interested in the owner of the superyatch?"
"If your dad doesn't agree with us, what do you want me to do?"
"Stay with me." He looked at me and thought silently.
"Well this is the worst possible eventuality. I'm not talking to you because I don't want us to stay, but I'm the one who thinks ahead of time what it's going to be like. We have to have a plan for the worst. A man like your father could ruin my career. If he really disagrees, then he's determined to destroy my career. Because so many of my clients introduced your father. What do you think I should do? If he destroys my career, then makes me bankrupt?" I answered, but he stopped me.
"Actually, your father and I can say pretty close. Your father wanted to support my candidacy for senator, because I've been building credibility for a long time as a free legal aid agency operating in Brooklyn and Queens. If he disagrees and forbids me, it's likely that all my career plans will go free-fall." I just found out, I really didn't know Dad gave him the support to get into politics.
"Ohh, do you support being a senator? Well, then good, he'll 100% support us."
"What?" Xavier looked surprised but I had a real reason to say so. "Explain why you think we'll be supported 100%."
"Actually Dad is looking for a person who becomes a back-up after he reaches this career. The chances that he will be re-elected this period are great, the president is the same but for the future period it is likely not. Uncle didn't want to get into the party other than the donors, my cousin didn't because they said they didn't have a background, they focused on business, and I was told to focus on business. So he had to find an outsider. If it were you, we would both be a match, I would definitely allow it, 100%."
"What's true like that. It seems too easy for me. I owe your father a huge debt, actually the cost of running that free law firm is also on his part." It doesn't seem easy to accept my explanation but I feel so.
"Yes must be right. We'll be a good match, a lawyer and a senator. Another business man."
"What's true is that easy." Xavier is still in doubt about what I said.
"Could've been right. Tomorrow we'll know the truth, just talk to Mom."
He doesn't talk but I have faith I must be right. If Dad agrees he can also be asked please to convince Mom.
