Arfan brought his team back to the club after a match tonight on the futsal court, the defeat in the final round made his heart so disappointed.
For Arfan there is only one word win or lose, there is no second place in his dictionary.
Even though they lost thinly with the opposing team, but his heart was so broken. Even the smallest defeat is still a mistake.
He wants young people under his care to be able to win championships from the national level to the international level.
Thirty-year-old Arfan Reynar Wijaya, a former national player in futsal and a lecturer in sports at University Z, is single and has never had a boyfriend.
Her father and mother are gone, she has lived with her grandmother since childhood. His youth he spent on the futsal court, training and training with his team. Hoping to reach the top in the national championship, but ten years ago their team had to disband because of what made them decide to retire.
Since his team broke up Arfan decided to return to Spain and live with Grandma from his father. They are not native from there but Grandma Arfan used to work in Spain until finally they settled there.
Spain is the second home for the Wijaya family to return home. Arfan returned to Spain in addition to continuing his education he also used the money left by his father to build a futsal club under the name A&W and it has been a year since he returned to his birthplace, he said, opening A&W club.
This club has won many championships, although classified as a new club but their strength cannot be doubted because they are able to compete with the club that has long been formed.
Tonight Arfan and his foster son lost to a club that was nurtured by his former team-mates before they decided to retire.
Arfan was so upset that he decided to get off in the middle of the road from the bus they were riding on, wearing a thick jacket he broke through a bone-chilling winter.
Towards a place to pull over and reflect, Arfan is indeed a young man with a determination that is so strong and effective to talk. He was not sociable so more than a quarter of a century of his life he did not have someone to anchor his heart to.
Arfan is a handsome young man with an atlestis body, but the rigors of life make him choose to achieve ideals rather than having to think of a woman to love. Abandoned by both parents since childhood makes it must be independent and must be able to stand on its own feet.
Arfan arrived at a bookstore that was open until night, he really likes to read. Even he would spend hours just reading, for him books were his windows reaching for dreams. Especially books related to sports.
Arfan entered the store and was greeted by a shopkeeper with his best smile, a young girl who looked at Arfan fixedly without blinking.
"Miss I need a book related to sports futsal, where is the book?" arfan asked the girl who kept looking at him.
"Hey Miss, do you hear me?" ask Arfan again.
"Ah yes sorry sir, the book you are looking for is on the shelf number Seven."
Arfan passed away leaving the girl, while the girl was still looking at the back of Arfan who was approaching the shelf in question.
"What are you doing Mentari, why are you slumping around like a rat?" ask the Mentari Cousin Star.
Tonight Mentari came to the store owned by the Bintang family who are his male cousins from his Mother's Sister because asked by the Bintang family to keep the store together while they are off college.
"Ah no, I'm just arranging these books" said Mentari.
"Well hurry up and get it done because we'll be shut down soon, man,"
"close? Just what time is this why we close this fast, is not usually ten we just closed Bin?"
"You don't remember, it's going to rain tonight, look it's already cloudy outside and the sky's getting darker. Do you want us to get rained on because we only carry bicycles, huh!" Bright Stars.
The distance of their home with the store was not far so they had left on a bicycle.
Mentari Mahendra is the daughter of Mahendra and Kartika, his father is a cardiologist and his mother is the Head of Primary School.
Mentari is the only child in Mahendra's family. He is only Nineteen years old and is currently studying S2 in the Department of Mathematics at University Z.
Sitting in the seat behind the cashier's desk, Arfan approached and offered the book he had chosen to pay for.
"What number is the total of all of them?" ask Arfan.
Mentari received the book that Arfan gave to check the price, but again Mentari was amazed by the good looks of the young man in front of him. His jaw is so strong with jakun protruding, black hair neatly arranged and hand muscles strokes that look so clear, the image of an athletic body behind the thick jacket that Arfan wears flashed in the Mentari brain.
The good looks of Arfan are clearly in his eyes, for Mentari Arfan is the first young man who he thinks is so perfect and attracts his heart.
"Miss..," said Arfan, disperse the reverie of Mentari.
"Yes, I'm sorry, sir,"
"Please your ID card and mobile number to complete the administration because our store is holding a lottery and the lucky ones will get a special gift from us!"
Arfan took out a ID card from his wallet and gave it to Mentari and told the girl to record her phone number.
Mentari swiftly entered data belonging to Arfan, then calculated how much Arfan's budget and gave the youth's groceries to the owner.
"When I win there is no need to contact me, the prize is for you!" arfan's Message to Mentari.
"But-but Mr...,"
Arfan walked away and left the store without looking back.
Mentari realized that something belonging to Arfan was left behind. Then he chased Arfan outside, Mentari dizzy because the figure he was looking for was no longer there. Suddenly Arfan appeared from the back where the position of Mentari stood.
"Are you looking for me?" asked Arfan who made Mentari jump immediately into Arfan's embrace with both legs flanking the young man's waist, Arfan reflexively caught him. For a split second they looked at each other.
The mentor regained his senses and hurriedly escaped from Arfan's embrace.
"I'm sorry, sir, I was reflexing in shock" Mentari slid her hands together in front of her chest pleading for forgiveness.
"Why are you looking for me?!" Arfan did not answer Mentari's apology and instead asked him in a very flat tone.
"Here sir, I want to return this to you!" Mentari offers Arfan ID to its owner.
"Little girl thank you," Arfan passed from before Mentari.
Arfan suddenly flicked his steps and turned around.
"It's not nice little girls like you these nights hanging around outside the house!"
"Come in and I'll see you until you disappear behind that door, when you're done working, come home. Night is not good for a girl." Arfan advised.
Mentari nodded obediently then swung her little legs inside the store.
Arfan continued, tonight he will go to meet his old friend outside the city.
