My Old Star
#63 The Stare of Hostility

Arfan put the ring he had bought into the ring finger of Mentari and put the other ring on his own ring finger. The ring looks more beautiful worn by Mentari with her clean white skin.

"Thank you brother" said Mentari while looking at his ring finger.

Arfan hugged Mentari and gently rubbed the girl's head, "Lad be with me!" whispers of Arfan in the ear of Mentari are only answered with a slow nod by him.

Arfan takes Mentari to his grandmother's house, they enter the house and find Mona at Wijaya's grandmother's house.

"You guys coming, baby?" Grandma Wijaya welcomed the presence of Arfan and Mentari.

"Let's go inside!" invite Grandma Wijaya but rejected by Arfan.

"It looks like we're not right to visit today, we'll excuse you!" Arfan doesn't like Mona among them.

"Wait for Fan!"

"There's no point in me here grandma, I just want to live a quiet life!" Arfan stared intently at Mona.

"Speaking, honey, please stay a while at grandma's house. Don't you miss grandma son?" Vijaya's grandmother deliberately used Mentari to persuade Arfan to delay his departure.

Mentari looked at Arfan who kept looking straight ahead, "Come on Mentari, grandma misses you so let Arfan go first but you stay here how?" Grandma Wijaya continued to persuade.

Mentari nodded, "Alright grandma!" replied Mentari because she felt bad for Grandma Wijaya.

"Then tomorrow morning we can cook together again baby?" Grandma Wijaya smiled happily because she won Mentari.

"You guys have fun, I'll go first!" Arfan left Mentari at his grandmother's house while he would go outside first.

"Sister... How am I left?" Mentari called Arfan.

Arfan waved his hand without turning his head towards Mentari, he kept coming out and left his grandmother's house of goods for a moment.

"Ups... Some are left behind," said Mona sneering at Mentari while the girl remained calm unwilling to be provoked.

"You calm down baby, Arfan will definitely pick you up later." Vijaya's grandmother said to calm Mentari who was not afraid of being left behind, she was only worried if Arfan left in a state of anger.

"Now go up to rest!" grandmother Wijaya's orders.

Mentari obeyed grandmother's orders, while Mona was upset because despite being one of the Wijaya family members but she was not treated as special as Mentari by Wijaya's grandmother.

"Grandmother why is it not fair to me?" Mona protests to Grandma Wijaya.

"It's not fair how do you mean Mona?"

"Grandmother treated Mentari so special, but why not me so grandma?"

"Am I not the one who is clearly the descendant of the Vijaya family, I should be the one that Grandma treats special not Mentari!"

"The one thing you need to understand is that I love Mentari like my own granddaughter, while you may still have to learn to do that."

"Mona you've heard yourself, son, my brother doesn't hate you just that he's trying to treat you well, so you have to be patient, son!"

Mona sat back on the sofa in a fit of annoyance, "No grandmother, no grandchildren are the same!" in the heart.

The night Mentari came down from the room to the dining table, Wijaya's grandmother told him to have dinner together. Clown looking for Arfan who has not been among them.

"Sit down baby, Arfan will definitely be back here soon to pick you up." Grandma Wijaya understands the anxiety of Mentari.

"Yes Grandma, but it's been this night why brother Arfan hasn't come back yet."

"She may be in business, so no need to worry about her, now eat first!"

"Heh girl tengil really complicated life, Arfan is already big. He knows what he needs. How could he possibly put up with a thin, flat-chested girl like you!"

"She is like a good woman like me, you know not outside she is looking for another warmth, so don't be easy to believe the sweet promise that comes out of a man's mouth, especially a man who is much older than you!"

"Mona take care of your words, be careful when you talk to her, my granddaughter, and I know how she is from childhood!" granny Wijaya started to ride the apoplexy.

"I'm talking about the way Grandma is, grandma doesn't know how she's doing out there!"

"Mona you know who you're talking to, don't be so rude!" mahmud's grandfather gave a warning to his daughter.

Mentari saw Vijaya's grandmother holding back her emotions, Mentari held Vijaya's grandmother's hand to calm her down a little.

"Have no need to listen, who knows how the granddaughter of the grandmother is the grandmother herself is not someone else, grandma continue to eat first!" Mentari smiled softly at Vijaya's grandmother by placing emphasis on some of the words she said so that Mona could clearly hear her words.

Mona continued to stare at Mentari who was replied by the girl with a hostile look.

Elsewhere, Arfan was having a serious conversation with Arman at his contract.

"Fan I can't possibly accept your offer, I just resigned from Zaki's club, of course there will be unpleasant slanted voices heard."

"Then what about your life, you need a Man's job!"

"I know Fan, suppose I'm currently taking a break!"

"It's up to you!" Arfan crossed his face by throwing his face in the other direction.

"Don't think too much of me Fan, I'll definitely be fine. Just think about your wedding plans with Mentari. Pity that girl if you wait too long, you and Mentari also deserve to be happy Fan."

"Don't switch the conversation!"

"I'm talking as Fan is, remember we're getting older!"

"You think you're still young huh, we've both been heads of three Man!"

"Ah, I'm going!" Arfan got up from his seat out of Arman's contract.

Mentari and the others had just finished their dinner, but they were still at the dinner table.

"I'm going to finish this first, Grandma," Mentari held up the dirty dishes for her to take to the kitchen.

"Let aunty just not take care of it!"

"I'll help auntie get done sooner."

"Find your attention!" chirps Mona.

"Mahmud I'm dizzy with your daughter, it seems like what Mentari does is always wrong in her eyes."l

"I'm sorry my daughter, sister, I beg you!"

Grandma Wijaya did not answer, she chose to go into her room rather than more dizzy listening to Mona's babbling.

Mona saw that Wijaya's grandmother had entered the room, slowly she looked for Mentari who was in the kitchen with her aunt cleaning cooking utensils and others.

"You are, I'm warning you not to come here too often!"

"Is there a problem, brother?"

"You think your presence here is of no use to which there is trouble!" Mona grabbed Mentari's hair.

Mentari complained of the pain of holding her hair pulled by Mona.

"You should know yourself, you don't deserve Arfan!"

"Well my brother I will retreat, but on condition that Arfan tell me himself!"

"How dare you be a little girl?!!!"

Mona is getting faster and faster when she grabs Mentari, her aunt comes out of the kitchen to ask for help but she finds no one in the house.

"Where are people going, so want to be needed to say all of them!"

Aunty is still looking for help, Mona is still picking up Mentari.

"This is just a warning, if you take another step forward do not hesitate I will finish you!"

"Mona let her go!" Arfan who just entered the house heard the voice of Mentari who was like a person in pain and then looked for the whereabouts of the girl.

"Generic...!" said Mona aghast at the sudden arrival of Arfan, she took her hand off Mentari's hair, this time she was completely caught off guard.
