#89 Steven's hunch
Marryana was terrified because there was no one in the place.
"I'll give up all my things, but please let me go!" marryana pleaded with the plotters.
The thug laughed mockingly, "You think we'll miss a woman as beautiful as you and let you get away with it?"
"I said let me go!" Marryana continued to rebel.
"Don't expect miss, we'll bring you along with us!"
Two thugs hold Marryana's hand and intend to get the woman into their car.
Marryana continued to rebel while shouting for help.
"Home alone you yell miss because no one will help you because they can't hear your screams at all!"
Zaki had just returned from his out-of-town service, he was driving leisurely because it was late at night. The road was empty and only a few vehicles passed by him.
Zaki drives himself so he is quite tired this time, usually he will go with Arman but since Arman is out of the club he leads he has to go everywhere alone.
He longs for Arman's excitement which can always melt the atmosphere but he himself cannot keep Arman even though he has tried his hardest.
In a fairly quiet corner, Zaki saw a car parked on the edge of the road just like that with the door open. Zaki initially doesn't care about it all because he's worried that it's a trap.
But after hearing a female voice asking for help, Zaki finally stopped her car.
How surprised Zaki was when he saw a woman being pulled by two people in all black clothes and looks like a thug.
Without a second thought Zaki approached them, "Take off the woman!" his yell.
"You who would dare to interfere in our affairs huh?!!" maki's one of those thugs.
"I'm a nobody but seeing the way you treat a woman so harshly makes me have to interfere!" zaki's voice was no less high than that thug.
"Strike him!" orders from the leader of the thugs, so that the two men who had been tugging Marryana pass the woman to attack Zaki.
Marryana runs to a safer place, while Zaki and the two thugs are involved in a fistfight. Zaki managed to surpass them so as to make the two thugs fall down. Now it was the boss of the thugs who came forward to attack Zaki. Both of them again involved shoulder to shoulder, Zaki with the remnants of his power managed to paralyze the thug boss.
Zaki walked over to Marryana, "Are you okay, miss?"
"I'm good sir, just a little scuffed." Marryana explained her condition.
"Thank you for your help to me, introduce me Marryana. You can call me Marry or Ana."
"Together ladies, introduce my name Zaki. Oh yeah why are you here all these nights and alone?"
"I want to see my friends, but they're against me."
"Well let's go home and you'd better turn around because it's so late, it's too dangerous for a woman like you to drive alone."
"You're right, I'll just go home."
They were about to head to their respective cars but unexpectedly one of the thugs got up and ran towards Marryana with a knife. Zaki saw that and swiftly ran towards Marryana intending to protect her, but the distance was not possible to brush off the thug's hand and in the end it was Zakilah who was pierced by the thug.
Zaki fell down and collapsed onto the paved road, he was covered in blood. Marryana immediately called an ambulance to take Zaki to the hospital because there was no one there to ask for help to lift Zaki into the car while Zaki's blood continued to pour, Marryana was worried that the new man had to bleed out.
No matter how long the ambulance he was waiting for came to pick up, Zaki got first aid and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
Marryana followed him from behind by driving her own car. He was very anxious, worried that something would happen to Zaki.
Steven who was already asleep in his room suddenly woke up in the middle of the night and shouted to his mother while crying.
Sania and Tomi immediately entered Steven's room upon hearing the boy's screams.
"You're why Stev, are you having nightmares?" Tanya Sania hugged her son.
"You're calm, baby, there's mom and dad here so you can't be scared."
"I-I remembered good om ma, it seems like something happened to good om." Steven's hunch is that Zaki is in a bad shape and Steven can feel that.
"Ma I want to call you good ma" he whined.
"Mama's right baby, Stev bobo's better again. Mama and papa will accompany Stev here how?"
Steven nodded in agreement to Tomi's proposal and eventually fell asleep again.
At the hospital, Zaki was immediately taken to the operating room because the knife was still stuck in his stomach and had to be removed by a doctor immediately.
Marryana who was also exposed to Zaki's blood decided to clean up first, lucky she brought a change of clothes in her car.
The operation lasted for four hours, and doctors tried hard to stop the bleeding coming out of Tomi's wound.
"Is the patient's family here?"
"I'm doc" replied Marryana.
"Are you a patient?"
"I'm his friend Doc, he's hurt for helping me from a gang of robbers."
"Can you contact her family?"
Marryana shook her head, she did not know who Zaki was because they had just gotten to know each other. Moreover, Marryana's family does not know at all.
"Just tell me doc, because I don't know who the patient's family is."
"All right, come to my room!" Marryana followed the doctor into her room.
"Look lady, the patient lost a lot of blood and had to get a donor immediately because otherwise it would be very dangerous for his life. But unfortunately we are running out of blood stock according to the group and resus that the patient has. The bad news is that the blood type of the patient is rare. So please contact his family immediately, who knows if anyone has the same blood type as the patient."
"Please check my blood type doc, who knows my blood type is suitable."
"Well, please come with the nurse to do the checking."
Marryana follows a nurse who will check her blood type, but how disappointed Marryana is because she has the same blood type as Zaki but with a different resus so it is impossible for Marryana to be a donor for Zaki.
"This is the patient's phone, please miss keep it." The sister, who was with Marryana, handed over Zaki's cell phone, which they found in the man's briefcase, when she was about to replace the patient's clothes with sterile clothes.
Marryana ventured to open the phone, lucky Zaki did not lock it with a password or other lock on his phone so Marryana tried to find contacts that she might be able to contact.
After fiddling with the phone, Marryana found a number that Zaki had stored under the name "Steven my son".
Marryana thought if it was possible that the name of the contact could be contacted so she tried calling the number.
It was morning when Marryana hung up Steven's number using Zaki's phone.
There was a voice from across the phone, "Hallo om good, what's up?"
"Hallo.. Is this true with Steven?"
"Yes this is Stev, who's this why call using a mobile phone om good?"
"This is Aunt Marryana Stev, I'm sorry Aunt Stev this early in the morning called, aunt just wanted to say if the owner of this phone is being treated in the hospital because last night he was injured and is currently in critical condition, he needs a donor whose blood test results match his. Aunty please tell your mama too?"
Steven dropped his phone, he was shocked to hear that om was both sick and hospitalized and was currently in need of help.
"Stev why you, baby?" Sania asked who saw her son suddenly moody and look anxious, even to the point of dropping his phone.
Steven told me what he heard from someone named Marryana.
Sania immediately recalled the incident when Mentari asked her that name. Sania picks up Steven's phone that fell on the floor and calls back Zaki's number to ask where Zaki is currently being treated.
"Let's Stev take a good look at the hospital!" take Sania who was approved by Steven.
Sania recounts the incident to Tomi, and Tomi ends up coming with them to the hospital.
