Ch 18: The best available earth-population tactics

A few days later, Sanada and the others returned to the village.

Kakashi bids farewell to the disciples and Sanada as he must report to Hokage for the progress of the mission and immediately leave for the Hokage's office.

*Tock-Cock*

The sound of knocking resounded in the Hokage's office.

"Get in." said Sarutobi.

A man with white hair and a mask appeared.

"Kakashi, you're back!"

"I'm here to report some details about the mission, as well as the MOU between Konoha village and Waves Village regarding the bridge." Kakashi said while addressing the MOU to the Third Hokage.

"Continue.." Hokage said as he reflected his smoke.

"As I wrote earlier in the letter, we met one of the Ninja Seven, Zabuza Momochi...."

Kakashi explained everything from start to finish without missing a single piece. Including the part where Sanada and Sakura easily break Haku's ice wall.

" Hmm, you've been through a lot, Kakashi. I have received your report, and you are doing your duty very well in the mission. Now you're dismissed." said Sarutobi.

However, contrary to his expectations, Kakashi did not leave and instead kept quiet.

He looked very hesitant, but he still decided to speak in the end.
