Day 2: Kaedehara Sanada

Hearing the Third Hokage offer Sanada immediately agreed.

Not long ago, he was worried about how to get disciples so how could he refuse that request when the Third Hokage was about to offer him an olive branch.

The third Hokage was satisfied with Sanada's reply. He thinks that Sanada is actually very excited to guide a new generation of Konoha shinobi. It probably never crossed his mind that Sanada was excited because of his own system.

"Hahahaha, I know you'll agree! Here, look at your student list." Sarutobi said while handling the list of disciples to Sanada.

But when Sanada picked up the paper and read the names of the students on his team, he frowned.

"Hokage-sama, this.."

"Yes, this is the name of your student. The name of the student has been set, but it has not been set. Do you have any advice?"

When the third Hokage returned the question back to Sanada, he immediately felt the eyes of the three people behind him watching him closely.

Although the Third Hokage said they had yet to be established, the disciple list was the result of their previous meeting. They would definitely not agree if Sanada tried to hunt down whichever disciple they personally chose.

Sanada gritted his teeth and he knew he was walking on a tight rope but this was closely related to his future, and he had to fight for it.

The list of names previously handled by the Third Hokage showed that his team was full of civilian students and from their names, Sanada could see that they were merely cannon fodder that did not even reach B-grade potential.

Sanada hopes to get a leading role in Naruto such as Hinata, Kiba, Shino, or Inoshikacho. But their hunt of Asuma or Kurenai was only futile as Sanada was sure that the two would not be so foolish as to release the children of the main clan from their clutches.

Sanada was just about to accept his fate when he suddenly recalled something.

Many passersby treated Sakura as useless and a burden, but to Sanada at the moment, Sakura was his only ray of hope.

A civilian student with at least S class potential, Sanada hopes to get this student from Kakashi.

Sanada turned his head towards Kakashi and gave his best smile before slowly approaching Kakashi.

Yup, after relentlessly pleading and whining, Sanada finally managed to snatch Sakura from Kakashi.

At first, Kakashi wants to reject Sanada's proposal, but when Sanada starts clinging to his feet and crying like an idiot, Kakashi has no other way but to comply with Sanada's request.

Don't look at cold-hearted Kakashi; Kakashi is actually a very considerate person, and seeing Sanada like that, he can't bear to refuse Sanada's request.

Sanada now stands in his apartment with a big smile on his face, and his fingers make v-shaped movements as if signifying victory.

From his observations, his current stats were quite okay as it reached the Jonin limit level. The small amount of ninjutsu available bothered him.

"*Sigh*Now I regret not remembering Chidori's signature.." Sanada shook his head helplessly.

From the many discussions on the Naruto forums he had read before, Sanada learned that ninjutsu was a luxury in this world. The anime only features magic and rich ninjas, and of course, ninjutsu is fine for them. But for a civilian like Sanada, getting two or three ninjutsu is good enough.

The village was not a charitable organization, and they needed to make enough contributions to exchange for ninjutsu.

Nonetheless, this was only a small matter, and Sanada's good mood would definitely not change because of it.
