Ch 33: Help Is Coming

BOOOM!!!

A huge explosion occurred in the Deathly Forest as Ami detonated all the labels of the explosion at the same time.

"Have we succeeded?"

The eyes of Ami, Hibachi, Sakura, and Sasuke were directed to the location of Orochimaru.

Sasuke had a complicated expression on his face. He never thought that the three disciples of Sanada would defeat him like this. Hibachi and Ami were not necessarily stronger than him but the way they acted during the battle had made Sasuke aware of his weaknesses.

'What I do.. Why am I standing still when the people behind me are chasing.'

Unwittingly, Sasuke begins to feel a little dissatisfied with Kakashi. Kakashi and Sanada both began teaching at the same time but Sanada's student progress had far exceeded Kakashi's.

The smoke left behind by the explosion began to disappear. It revealed Orochimaru's limping body.

The result was clearly not what they had expected as they never thought that he would still survive after the explosion. They then saw Orochimaru no longer moving and the four genins heaved a sigh of relief.

But just as they thought it was all over, Orochimaru's body suddenly moved with a very strange posture.

"Interesting that plan. Everything's perfect. It might be useless if your opponent is wary of you, but if your opponent is underestimating you like the one that just happened, it is an almost perfect strategy!"

Suddenly Orochimaru's body spewed out a new one. But this time it's not the face of Kusagakure Genin, it's Orochimaru we all know.

"It can't be in hell .."

"Impossible...."

The members of team six had faces that were tangled in horror. This guy must be weird..

Hibachi, despite having taken Sanada's special training, could not remain calm anymore. In his storage scroll there was an almost infinite supply of wood for his Succession Jutsu, but now he no longer thought that the wood in the scroll was enough.

'Run. We have to run! Or we'll be killed here!"

The thought filled the minds of the six team trio. They wanted to escape as far as they could but their bodies were petrified by fear.

For Hibachi, Ami, and Sakura this was the first time they felt so close to death.

Orochimaru looked at the four Genins and sighed.

'It looks like this is the limit of a civilian ninja'

Among the Genins, Sasuke's current appearance satisfied him the most. Although Hibachi's strategy was excellent, it was only a strategy, after all, it was not pure power.

The fact that Sasuke felt much better than the trio of team six when dealing with his bloodlust has fully reinforced his hypothesis that the ninja bloodline is much better than the civilian ninja.

Orochimaru walked step by step towards Hibachi.

It's unfortunate that Hibachi was just a civilian ninja he thought. If not, maybe Hibachi can be a pretty good container for him.

He raised his hand ready to kill Hibachi.

"Five?" ask Orochimaru.

"Ligma ******!!!"

Hibachi then felt that time had stopped. Orochimaru's hands were getting closer to his neck and he was ready to face his death.

But then..

"Fishman Karate, Gosenmaigawara Seiken!"

A voice could be heard behind Hibachi.

The water vapor around Hibachi began to react as the shockwave approached, launching Orochimaru a few meters away.

Orochimaru spat out blood but from the looks of it, the wound was not too serious.

"Sorry I'm late!"

When Hibachi and the other Genin turned their heads, they saw a familiar figure.

It was a man with coral hair, a handsome face, and a reliable appearance. It was none other than their beloved Sensei, Sanada.

"Sensei!!!"

The team of six trio shouted. They were just about to face their deaths, so seeing their Sensei come to their rescue, they would be lying if they said that they did not feel relieved and touched.

Sanada checked the condition of his students and heaved a sigh of relief. Other than Hibachi, the other two seemed to be unharmed, they could still continue the Chunin exam without any problems.

Sanada took Hibachi in his arms and flashed, taking him to his other students.

"I'll explain later. Now go, he's not an enemy you can defeat right now."

Sanada lowered Hibachi and quickly turned his gaze back to Orochimaru.

For the current Sanada, Orochimaru is a force to be reckoned with.

The trio of team six and Sasuke did not refute Sanada's words and simply nodded. They saw a serious expression on his face and knew that they should not stay any longer.

The four Genins looked at each other and nodded before retreating from the location leaving only Sanada and Orochimaru to face each other.

"Hahaha.. Another hitch eh? But do you think you'll be able to leave alive after interfering with my plan?" Orochimaru said as he licked his lips, his eyes full of bloodlust. He's ready to kill Sanada anytime.

"If it's to kill you then I probably can't. But if it's holding you back while waiting for reinforcements to come? Then I'm more than capable!"

The atmosphere around the two became tense. One wants to kill and the other wants to protect. Their confrontation was now inevitable.

Sanada decided to take the initiative. His body took the basic posture of the Fish-Man Karate, capturing the water vapor around it before launching it into Orochimaru as a projectile at a speed almost equivalent to a bullet.

"Gimizu!"
