Ch 56: The situation in both villages

When Sanada said those words, Jiraiya finally made his mind interfere. The situation became uncontrollable, and they could not let a Kage-level ninja turn their back on them now.

Baki was not being polite with Gaara. He instead told her the bitter truth and how she still needed to change things if she wanted to become Kazekage. At the end of the day, Baki tells Gaara that he can do it, and he is waiting for the day when he will lead Sunagakure.
