36 Ch: Hibachi Vs. Sasuke

When the names were announced, everyone's attention immediately turned to Sasuke and Hibachi.

Everyone here thought that it would be an easy win for Sasuke.

But Sasuke himself trembled.

Sasuke could not help but wonder. How could Hibachi become so powerful? Where does this skill level come from? It's all a bit questionable.

In just a few months Hibachi became this strong, was it because they had different teachers?

"No matter what, I won't lose until I get my revenge" Sasuke thought to himself. He had an unfounded expression of confidence. As if to prove himself, Sasuke's hands continued to tremble. But it was so small that even Sasuke himself did not realize that his hands were shaking.

Sakura looked at Sasuke and Hibachi with a complicated gaze.

With the skill that Hibachi displayed during the fight with Orochimaru earlier, it was not strange that the battle had somehow turned into Hibachi's advantage.

He was not afraid of injuries caused during the battle. What he was more worried about was Sasuke's mental state if he lost. Sasuke is still a village comrade and it seems he doesn't want anything bad to happen to him.

Immediately, the two Genins chosen separated themselves from the others and walked forward towards the stage.

The other genins were instructed to move to the upper area, giving Hibachi and Sasuke room to fight.

"For the first battle, Hibachi Vs Uchiha Sasuke was chosen."

"No objection, right?" Hayate asked for confirmation.

Both Hibachi and Sasuke answered "No" simultaneously.

"Well, please start."

Hayate finished his words, and Sasuke's eyes immediately turned red.

The two Sharingan tomoe activated and both his eyes and body were now fully focused on Hibachi.

Hibachi looks pretty relaxed.

His face showed an evil grin as he opened his mouth.

"ITACHI, it looks like you're still a long way from her..."

Right now, Sanada who was standing at Jonin's stand could only put on an awkward face. Hibachi did say those words in silence, but still could not escape the observation of a Jonin.

Sanada could see Kakashi's bulging eyes focused on him and could only think silently in his heart.

'Hibachi...I did say that provoking your opponent was a strategy to gain an easy victory in battle, but I didn't tell you to go this far...'

When Hibachi mentioned the name, Sasuke could no longer hold back his emotions.

For him, Itachi was his switch and should not be touched by anyone.

All his anger was directed at Hibachi as he disappeared.

It was a familiar move and the figure on the pulpit immediately realized what it was.

"Go Sasuke-Kun, let the power of youth explode!" Lee shouted, where Sasuke appeared under Hibachi.

Sasuke's movements were very fast because he managed to imitate Lee's hard work.

However, if Sasuke thought that he could deal with Hibachi just by imitating the bound Lee, he was wrong.

"The speed is good, but it's still not as fast as Sanada-Sensei" Hibachi said as he realised Sasuke would give a kick to his chin.

With a plop, Hibachi's figure turned into a block of wood and he reappeared behind Sasuke.

"I'm not very confident with my bare-handed fight, but let's try this."

Hibachi then launched the jab towards Sasuke, which Sasuke easily avoided.

The practice with Sanada has polished Hibachi's evasive skills to a whole new level, but it also shows Hibachi's obvious weakness.

In addition to the Blue Ringed Octopus, Hibachi's offensive methods are very limited.

Hibachi and Sasuke continued to exchange blows with each other, but even with the help of the Jutsu Turnover, Hibachi was still unable to defeat Sasuke.

The gap between the taijutsu two was too far away. It was not something that could be passed with just a Jutsu Turnover.

The Third Hokage, watching the battle, nodded as a receipt. The cleverness of this method was what made the Third Hokage smile. If this method could be applied to any ninja in Konoha, then it would definitely improve their survival abilities.

Sasuke looked at the little Blue Ring Octopus on Hibachi's shoulder, and a frown appeared on his face.

'That little thing, however, I have to avoid it.'

He had seen how deadly the little thing was and it wouldn't be good if he was hit.

Sasuke leapt back quickly, widening the distance as he began to make hand gestures.

Snake, Ram, Monkey, Forest Pig, Horse, Tiger...

Katon: Goukakyuu no jutsu (Fire Element: Fireball Jutsu)

A huge fireball came out from Sasuke's mouth enveloping the entire area.
