Ch 26: Before the Test

The next day after Sakura met Gaara and the others, Sanada brought Sakura and the other 6 team members to the training ground.

Sanada had told them before that they would not have a mission today and only called them because he had an important announcement.

" Good morning, man!" Sanada said with a cheerful expression on her face.

But on the contrary, the faces of the 6 team members looked quite sullen.

"You're late again, sensei." said Hibachi.

" Haha, don't worry about that. Let's just say I'm helping some old grannies get back to their homes ..." Sanada laughed awkwardly, but there was indeed some truth in his words.

Last night, after Hibachi and Ami returned home, Jonin's instructor came to him and asked him for a drink, saying that they should celebrate the first time their students enter the Chunin exam.

After a few minutes of walking, Sanada arrived at his destination. He opened the room and saw that Kurenai and Asuma were already waiting inside.

"Sanada, here!" Kurenai said as he pointed to the empty seat next to him, which made Asuma unhappy.

But then, the door opened, and a familiar figure appeared to him.

"Yo, am I late here?"

Kakashi Hatake finally arrived at the room.

He looked around for a moment only to realize that Sanada was chatting with Kurenai happily and silently gave a thumbs up to Sanada.

"*Batuk*What are you doing Kakashi-senpai? Come here!" Sanada tried to ease the awkwardness in the atmosphere.

"No, thank you! I'm fine here, you two can continue your conversation!" Kakashi said nonchalantly before opening the icha-icha paradise in his hands.
