NIGHT BUTTERFLY

NIGHT BUTTERFLY
#132

"Stop, sir, Stop" Sulastri told Mr. Mustarah as he reached the entrance to his house. He looked like he had just seen Jeri coming out of that little road on his motorcycle. Sulastri's feelings are getting less and less. Does this have anything to do with the video?

"Road, sir," said Sulastri after a moment of silence while watching the direction of Jeri's motorcycle. Mr. Mustarah is back on the car engine. The car slowly descends down a small road towards the house.

Arriving inside the house, Sulastri rushed down from the car. His pace quickly headed home, like he did not want to feel the lingering pounding of his chest. Upon arriving in the room, he found Rianti praying. Sulastri sighed and sat quietly by the side of the bed. He noticed Rianti being solemn' in his ruku. Not as he imagined. Her assumption about Jeri's arrival in the house may also be wrong. Jeri had nothing to do with the video. It might be someone else. Mohan or Ferdy maybe. But he still felt unsettled. Soon Rianti will know about the video. And it could be that all of Indonesia will know, given the ease of accessing social media today, if Mr. Jamal's wishes are not met.

"The daughter and wife of the richest businessman in West Nusa Tenggara perverted".

Agh, Sulastri could not imagine if the title he was trying to design in his mind filled the social media page.

"Yes, Allah," sighed Sulastri fretting. He rubbed his face hard with both of his palms.

Sulastri raised his head. The last alternative may be offered Mr. Sahril. The only way is to offer peace with Jamal sir. Treasures will be of no use compared to his family. Giving one company will have no effect.

"Mother."

Sulastri was ripped from his daydream. He saw Rianti looking at him. Sulastri smiled. Rianti took off the face he was wearing then stepped towards Sulastri. After kissing Sulastri's hand, he sat down next to Sulastri. Rianti gave a long sigh.

"Mom, I used to think life was just about happiness and laughter. Maybe because since childhood I lived with luxury until my teenage years. I never felt sad. What I want, what I show, all available in front of me." Rianti stopped his words. He rubbed Sulastri's back and smiled. He knew Sulastri must not understand why he suddenly spoke like that.

" Over time, until I was in prison, I began to feel that the world was just a joke. The world is a stage play, where the director has provided various challenges and obstacles on it. Only those who pass the barriers will get their best place" Rianti continued. He looked at the face of Sulastri who did not look back at him. Rianti smiled. He held both hands of Sulastri.

"Mother's face looks lethargic. Mom needs to take a shower. But mother still looks beautiful" said Rianti while kissing alternately Sulastri's hands. He did not give an explanation of the meaning of the conversation. Sulastri smiled. He was like trying to look at Rianti's face and gaze. But Rianti saw that smile so bland. A smile that carries the scent of anxiety. Rianti seemed to already know what was weighing on Sulastri's mind at this time.

"Not to think about it, Mom. Leave it to God. I accept what has become a part of my life" Rianti said with a smile. His face looks so calm. Sulastri frowned. He still did not understand Rianti's words. Question marks still filled his mind. Looking at Sulastri who looked puzzled, Rianti rubbed his back.

"I know why Mom just disappeared leaving me at the diner. I also know why you're wrong to bring your phone. Jeri came and apologized. He has explained everything to me, including Jamal's plan."

Sulastri stared fixedly at Rianti's face. Rianti smiled again. There was no worry and sadness on his face. As calm as the lake water without wind. Apparently Rianti knew everything before he could tell her.

"Bad. I'm sure that Jeri was the one who helped Jamal sir. You should have screamed and asked Mr. Bayan to hold him back, not just let him go" Sulastri said. Both of his palms were firmly clasped.

"Any deed, will surely receive its consequences. Whether it's good or bad" he said calmly. Sulastri. He did not understand why Rianti was completely unencumbered.

"How can you be this calm, son. This matter is like taking away my life, and you can still smile like this? No, Son. This doesn't have to happen. I can't have Mr. Jamal hurting you,"

"Easy, Mom. There's nothing we can do. We let everything flow according to God's will. Just let him do whatever he wants. It's okay, Mom. Let this all happen to be worth my past." Sulastri shook his head again. Not accepting with Rianti's attitude.

"No, Son. We can still stop him. He only asked for one company. It'sit's okay. We can give him what he asks. Your happiness is more important to you than your company. We still have company. We still have a treasure that won't run out to seven derivatives,"

Rianti smiled as he shook his head. He got up and walked into the closet. The blue hijab of batik motif is removed and put it in front of the makeup mirror. Sulastri could only pay attention to him.

"Mom doesn't know who is dealing with. Mr. Jamal will not be affected and bound by any oath or promise. He will keep asking until we have nothing left. Jeri told me everything. Mr. Jamal has been determined to make our family as miserable as possible. So, it's free to work with him,"

"But at a minimum he's not going to spread that video, son,"

Rianti turned her body. Again his smile expanded.

"It's okay, Mom. Rianti is ready to accept all the consequences of the spread of the video. Let my disgrace in the world be revealed to the point of being unnoticed. It is better than that I should bear shame before God someday on the day of the great tribunal" answered Rianti steadily. He stepped slowly towards Sulastri. Sulastri who was still sitting woke him up. Rianti gave a long sigh.

"And let me remain the blue hooded woman of the batik motif. It was the greatest gift to me. I have entered into the dream of a great scholar, which was produced through his long palace. It's more than enough to keep me from dealing with Jamal's problems, sir,"

Sulastri's tears are flowing. He could only stare fully at Haru Rianti. Rianti's gaze was clear with gratitude. He really seemed to have escaped from all the problems that were now in sight. Rianti held onto both of Sulastri's shoulders, then hugged her tightly.

"Please don't cry, Mom. Make me as strong as you used to be, you made it out of my mother's grief. Don't mind what people say about me, about our family. That's not important. The most important thing is what God says about us." Rianti finally cried. Not because of the problems he is facing now, but because of his admiration for the figure of Sulastri who had once suffered more than him. Crying about what he did. It was more painful when he remembered it.

"But Master Teacher will leave you, son," said Sulastri stammered at the whim of his cries.

"It's okay, Mom. Being a blue hooded lady with a batik motif is enough for me. Being next to my mother made me have my paradise. So don't think about it anymore" Rianti said. Sulastri hugged him tightly. Rianti's fortitude makes him come hard. And it was true what Rianti said. In this world, we need only pretend to be blind and deaf to the painful talk of the world. If we continue to insist on hearing and seeing it, even avenging it, it will give us death before the real death.
