I don't feel like time keeps rolling. This year's rainy season comes early. In the middle of October. The smell of the soil early in the rainy season is smelled, when the rain spots for the first time fall soaking the earth, making green shoots of trees that abort during the dry season, the dry season, like appearing in the branches of trees. Along the eye of the beholder, the green atmosphere was soothing to the eye. The sound of the ripples of water beginning to fill the old stream dried up, sounding like natural music, accompanied the chirping of carefree birds in the branches of the trees. The dried up nature looks fresh again.
In the foyer of the pesantren mosque, the santri are seen sitting casually enjoying the spatter that began to inundate the mosque courtyard. After praying ashar and depositing memorization, some of them choose to remain in the mosque because the rain is getting heavier. Others look carefree bathing in the rain.
The sound of an announcement tone from the speaker of the office of the pesantren secretariat was heard three times. Santri signaled each other to be quiet. The tone of the call that is always awaited by the students, especially at the end of the month. They wish their parents had come to visit them.
"News of vocation.., to the sister, on behalf of Layla, is expected to come to the secretariat of the pesantren. Once again, sister Layla, expected her presence to the pesantren secretariat. Thanks."
Layla frowned. Only two days later, Nurasmin and Sofia came to visit him. Any important business until they come to see him again? inner Layla curious.
"Come, Layla. Called tuh. Don't forget the food yes" shouted someone among the crowd of sitting santri. Layla smiled and slowly got up. They immediately gave way to Lyla. Layla immediately raised the tip of her face as soon as she came down from the porch of the mosque. The santri who were in the mosque foyer began to boisterously give the signal to Layla to prepare to run among the swift rain.
Layla rubbed her wet face from the torrent of rain upon her doorstep. Slowly he opened the door and greeted me.
Layla again frowned as she arrived inside the room. There were only two people in the room. Zahra, one of the senior santri who was on picket duty that day, and a teary-eyed woman, who sat on a long bench with part of her face covered with her hijab. Next to the girl sat a bag and a suitcase. Curious, Layla immediately approached the picket manager.
"What was my name called, brother?"tanya Layla wants to make sure she arrives in front of the picket officer's desk. Zahra smilingly nodded her head while pointing towards the bench where the veiled woman was sitting. Layla. He looked at the woman for a moment. He felt he didn't know her at all. Layla turned her eyes back to Zahra. He moved his head closer to Zahra.
"Who is it, brother?" layla asked half a whisper. Zahra shrugged both of her shoulders.
"You're back with me. Asked directly dong," said Zahra. Layla sighed and turned her body. He slowly approached the woman and sat down next to her. Somewhat doubtful, he tried to greet her.
"Assynolajet. Is it true that you're looking for me?" ask Layla. The woman did not answer. He just shut up. Layla turned towards Zahra. Zahra raised both shoulders. Layla scratches her head. This time he saw the woman nearby lowering her body with a palm in her mouth. From his moving body, he knew the woman was holding back her laughter. Layla's getting curious. He got up and stood in front of the woman. He was sure that the woman in front of him was someone he knew. Layla bowed her body and began to notice the woman's face. The woman seemed unable to hold back her laughter as Layla looked at her face.
"Julia?" ask Layla to be astonished. She took off the hijab that covered the face of the woman who was none other than Julia. Julia still laughed while holding her stomach. Layla banging Julia's arm.
After her laughter subsided, Julia hugged Layla's body.
"You, Ka_mu why are you here?" layla asked still confused by Julia's sudden arrival.
"Can't you?" ask Julia back.
"It's not. I can't believe you're here. Tumbens. Aren't you in java?" layla. Julia smile. He shifted his body and brought the suitcase and bag close beside him. Layla frowned again.
"Your sound?"
Julia nodded. Not yet out of curiosity, Layla again frowned when she saw a middle-aged woman and man coming out of the room at the side. That's Maksum sir and Eti ma'am. Mom and dad Julia. The two smiled at Layla.
Layla got up and got closer. He then covers both.
"Julia want to go down here, sir?" layla said as the two had sat beside Julia. He still doesn't believe one hundred percent that Julia will actually go to that place. Both of them nodded with a smile. Layla turned around and went back to Julia. He pulls Layla's hand and takes her to the corner of the room.
"You have thought carefully. This is where people memorize the Qur'an, Julia," Layla said with a faint smile.
"You don't think I can, do you?" Julia asked back.
Layla sighed and smiled.
"It's not. I was surprised that you were suddenly interested in memorizing the Qur'an. He said he wanted to be an agricultural engineer. I can't believe you're going to stay here" Layla said. Julia smile.
"I don't feel at home if there's no you. After I thought about it, I just told my dad that I wanted to move here" Julia said. Layla gave a long sigh. He held Julia's hand.
"But don't just because I dong. Intention is more important. Memorizing the Qur'an will be easy if we intend it because of God," Layla said, pointing her index finger at Julia's chest. Julia smile.
"It can be because you're used to it. Are not the owners of the future those who are willing to try and keep practicing? We have never seen the Prophet Muhammad, but when we often call him, love is sure to come. If you can survive until now, why can't I" replied Julia. Julia's convincing answer, made Layla speechless while smiling at him. Not long after, he raised his hand and gave a thumbs up to Julia.
"remarkable. If the answer is like this, I can't comment anymore" Julia said. He then took Julia to the seat of Pak Maksum and Ms. Eti.
"How about, Nak Layla. I think Nak Layla is already hot in here. Already memorized how much juz," asked Eti. Layla smiled lowered her head.
"Alhamdulillah, it's 25 juz, ma'am," Layla replied while blushing in shame. Mr. Maksum and Ms. Eti smiled. They sound amazed. Not yet one year, Layla has managed to memorize up to 25 juz.
"That Julia can't be like you. Suddenly he was surprised to ask to move. Here again. Though memorizing just one sentence he was the most lazy," said Mr. Maksum while glancing at Julia. Julia looks pouting face. Layla smiles.
"God willing, you can, sir. The important thing is that Julia is patient and not saturated quickly" Layla said.
"The horror is Julia Layla said. Don't let it be a week here have asked to move again. Remember the word Father, if you ask to move again, already, let you at home only. No need to go to college. Wait for people to come propose to you" said Mr. Maksum. He turned back to Julia. Bu Eti pinched Pak Maksum's arm. Seeing that, Layla smiled amusedly.
"It was hard at first, but over time God will feel easy. I also almost moved because I felt unable to. But after that, I don't want to go home at all. I think it's a loss if not in the pesantren one day only," continued Layla. Mr. Maksum and Ms. Eti nodded their heads.
"Wish dong, sir. Kok even do not love the spirit so," said Julia with a face still pouting. The three smiled looking at Julia's facial expression. Pak Maksum got up and sat down nearby. Julia's back rubbed gently.
"Father is not not loving your spirit. I just warned you not to ask to move again. I hope you can feel at home like Layla and be a pride for father and mother" said Mr. Maksum. Julia's body was covered.
"Dik Layla, his sister will be one room with you huh," Zahra said from her seat after seeing the rain begin to subside. Layla smiled and nodded her head.
"Sorry, Sir. You should stay here first. I'd like to take mom and Julia to bring things inside" Layla said. Pak Maksum nodded his head.
The two then followed Layla from behind towards the dormitory.
