NIGHT BUTTERFLY

NIGHT BUTTERFLY
#91

"Based on Article 340 of the Criminal Code which reads;

"Whoever deliberately and with a plan first plunder the lives of others, threatened, for murder by plan (moord), by death penalty or imprisonment for life or for a certain time, twenty years at most."

The presiding judge fixed the location of his glasses and looked one by one at Rianti, Mohan and Jeri sitting in front of him. Sulastri who was sitting right behind Rianti with Pak Sahril and Pak Pratama looked anxious. He seemed to close his eyes while continuing to pray that the judge's verdict against Rianti was not too heavy. Especially if sentenced to death or life. The atmosphere within the trial room seemed tense.

"Also based on the testimony of Mohan's brother and Jeri's brother, and considering the input of the distinguished members of the magistrate's council, Rianti's sister is hereby proved together with Castella's late house, to be, has committed a criminal act of premeditated murder of the victim, Yulian Wibowo and gave the verdict to the defendants according to their respective roles, as follows:

Convicted sister Rianti Wibowo with a sentence of twenty years in prison. And a 10-year prison sentence each to brother Jeri and brother Mohan for their involvement in the murder."

The judge knocked his hammer three times.

Rianti smiled and stood up. He bowed his body saluting the judge. He looked calm with a smile that continued to expand. Sulastri stood up and walked over to Rianti. Sulastri started crying while hugging Rianti's body.

"Mom, I don't have to cry. This punishment is too light when compared to the loss of papa's life. I should have been put to death" Rianti said. His face looks calm. He did not look frightened or agitated by the verdict that had just been decided by the judge. His eyes fell on the smiling Mr. Sahril behind Sulastri. Rianti released Sulastri's embrace. Slowly he approached Mr. Sahril.

"Sir, forgive my harsh words to you." Rianti held Sahril's right hand and kissed her. Mr. Sahril rubbed Rianti's hair.

"It's okay, Non. I already consider non Rianti as my son. So there's no mistake to forgive" Mr. Sahril said. He then grabbed Rianti's body and hugged her.

"We've tried our best to ease non-Rianti's punishment, but this is the limit of our ability" Mr Sahril said, taking off his arms.

"No, Sir. I don't want a punishment too light. Mr. Ustadz said, if in the world we can escape punishment, then not to the end of a mistake will escape in the court of the hereafter. I don't want that, sir. I want everything done in the world" Rianti said with a smile. Mr. Sahril looked towards Sulastri. He could not believe what he had just heard from Rianti. Such a huge and unexpected change. Sulastri's earnestness finally paid off.

"We'll wait for non Rianti. The company desperately needs Non Rianti," continued Mr. Sahril after a moment of silence in his admiration. Rianti smiled.

"No, Sir." Rianti turned towards Sulastri. Sulastri approaching. His hands were held tightly by Sulastri.

"Rianti leave everything to mom. Get my brothers as high as possible. I hope that they will continue this effort" said Rianti. Sulastri shook his head. He took off Rianti's handrails and rubbed Rianti's hair.

"No, Son. You are still the legal owner of your papa company. You have to stay optimistic, you are still young. Your future is long. When you get out of jail, I'm sure you're ready to lead the company" Sulastri replied. Rianti sighed with a smile.

Two officers approached them. Sulastri. He looked so heavy when the officers were about to take Rianti. He hugged Rianti's body.

"Good in jail, son. Just stay nice. I'll visit you often" Sulastri said. Rianti nodded his head.

The two officers then took Rianti. Sulastri was still standing staring until Rianti's body disappeared behind the door.

At 12 noon. The telong-elong port. Bagas and his wife finally arrived in Lombok after passing the journey for 10 hours. Last night, after a long conversation with his wife, they both finally agreed to return to Lombok.

Bagas waved his hand at a male taxi driver who was sitting leaning against the body of his car. The man immediately stood up and got into his car.

"Where are you going, sir" said the taxi driver when Bagas and his wife had gotten into the car. Bagas was silent for a moment. He has no clear purpose at the moment. The results of his consensus last night with his wife, they will look for boarding houses first before finding a rental house.

The taxi stopped in a small alley after traveling two kilos from the port.

Sulastri's former rented house was already visible from where they stood. Looks lonely. The door of the house was closed. He believes Sulastri no longer occupies the house. There is no way Sulastri who is now a big boss still occupies the rented house.

"Sir, you wait here. If the house is empty, we will stay here" Bagas said. Nurul. Bagas also stepped towards the rented house.

"Mom, where was our old rented house?" farida asked as she continued to look out the windshield.

"Still far. It will be visible from the road" replied Sulastri.

"Hore, we're in, ma'am, yes" Fahmi said.

"For what. Maybe someone has already hired him." Sulastri turned towards Mustarah sir.

"Sir, stop first. We buy drinks" Sulastri said when he saw Alfa mart in front of him. Mr. Mustarah slowed down the speed of his car. Sulastri then went down followed by Fahmi and Farida.

"How, sister," asked Nurul when Bagas had returned from the rented house. Bagas. He raised both his eyebrows. He held Nurul's body and invited her to sit in a long chair on the sidewalk.

"So's been occupying, Brother."

"So far, now where are we going" asked Nurul. Bagas. He still remembers the surroundings.

"If we do not find a rented house around here, we have to find a boarding house around the Yaqin campus. It's a long way off" said Bagas.

"You wait here first. I want to find food" said Bagas. He got up and walked to a shop across the street.

"Mom, that's dad," cried Farida pointing towards a man who was running small across the street. Sulastri smiled as he shook his head. Farida had missed her father so much that it felt like she was looking at Bagas. Sulastri was silent and did not respond to Farida's words.

"Stop, stop. It's dad, Mom." Farida's crying.

"Dad again in Bima, son. There is no way your father is here" Sulastri said, looking back.

"Maybe it's like father kali, son," said Rahima trying to calm Farida down.

"No, it was dad. Come on, Mr. Mustarah. Get the car back." Farida kept shouting so Sulastri was forced to have Mr. Mustarah pull his car back.

"Stop here" said Farida. Suddenly he opened the car door and ran towards the roadside stall. Sulastri. Rahima immediately chased Farida. Sulastri sighed while continuing to look anxiously from inside the car. He saw Farida go into the shop.
