NIGHT BUTTERFLY

NIGHT BUTTERFLY
#225

After finishing breakfast together, Master Izzul Islam told Rianti and Jamila to pack. Today they will take Nurmah's inak at once to see the state of his son who is sick.

While walking towards their respective rooms to change their clothes, Rianti held Jamila's hand and led her into her room. Jamila, who did not understand Rianti's intentions, remained silent as Rianti withdrew her hand.

"You just change your clothes in the room. Then use my robe," said Rianti, gesturing for Jamila to come to his room. Jamila smiled as she shook her head.

"Why change clothes there. My room is close" said Jamila. Rianti looked back. Jamila's body was getting pulled into the room.

"Something I want to talk about a little. From earlier I saw Mr. Pensive continued. Like something he was thinking. I'm sure this has something to do with the mother's son. Try calling Suhaini or Nur Jamila, maybe they know what really happened. You see, the mother's son once served here. Who knows if the mother's son ever told the two" Rianti said half-whispering. Jamila looked curiously at Rianti.

"Come, you'll be waiting later" said Rianti.

"Here?" ask Jamila. Rianti was silent for a moment. After that, he again pulled Jamila's body out of the room.

"We'll just go to the kitchen. No change of clothes is okay.We are already beautiful," said Rianti. Jamila smiled and grabbed Jamila's chin. The two then rushed to the kitchen. Suhaini and Nur Jamila who were washing dishes then called.

"You know what, why...What is his name, the mother's son," said Rianti after the two were told to sit in front of him.

"Zulhiyani, Ms. Nyai" replied Nur Jamila

"Well, Zulhiyani. Emmh. Whether it is over or for other reasons," continued Rianti.

Nur Jamila and Suhaini looked at each other. They alternately touch each other with their elbows. Jamila and Rianti looked at each other. They were convinced that there was something both of them were hiding. They both became curious.

"Suhaini, Nur Jamila's. We are waiting for Master in the living room. We know, you two must have been close friends of Zulhiyani if indeed he was often with you to wait and prepare all the needs of his late mother first. Come on, don't be shy" said Jamila.

Suhaini raised his head.

"Sorry, Miss Nyai. Nyai's late mother once gave a gold ring to Zulhiyani. Zulhiyani told me that Nyai's mother wanted to..." Suhaini glanced towards Nur Jamila. Jamila.

"Come, continue Suhaini. You are like an outsider. Come on, the spirit dong story," said Jamila when she saw Suhaini speechless.

"Bu Nyai wants to marry Zulhiyani to Master Teacher. But the Zulhiyanya will not. But not because I don't want to, Miss Nyai. She was ashamed and felt worthy. He finally decided to run away. And here he is included in the list of students who are borne by his needs because of the economic condition of his family." Suhaini stopped her words. He swallowed his mouth deeply. Both Jamila and Rianti are still unwilling to respond. It seemed that Suhaini still wanted to continue his words.

"On the night before he came home, his Zulhiyani was crying continuously, Nyai ma'am. After we asked him, he said he was confused about making his choice. He still felt inappropriate, but on the other hand he felt sinful because he did not follow Nyai's orders. He felt he was not someone who could thank me." Suhaini stopped her words for a moment. He mendehem. Jamila and Rianti looked at each other again.

" Zulhiyani started to go to school here since she was in the 4th MI class, Ms. Nyai. It was Ustadzah Marhayni who took him." said Suhaini continuing his words.

"Marhayni Ustadzah? how did you just hear?" Rianti.

"He's married, Miss Nyai. He no longer serves here" replied Suhaini. Rianti nodded his head.

"May I have a minute's permission to go to the room, Nyai ma'am? I still keep Zulhiyani's diary. Maybe Nyai's mom needs it" Suhaini said. Rianti nodded.

"Hurry up, before Master Teacher calls," said Rianti. Suhaini hurried over. After a while of waiting, Suhaini returned again. He immediately handed the diary in his hand to Rianti. Rianti turned towards the hallway.

"I'd better go out first so that your brother does not suspect. Don't let Azka cry" said Jamila. Rianti nodded. Jamila immediately rushed to her room. After changing his clothes, he immediately met Master Izzul Islam in the living room.

Rianti opened the diary in his hand. The diary looks dull. Looking at the records inside, the diary was already four years old. It is seen from the year listed in one of Zulhiyani's writings. If Zulhiyani and Suhaini were one class, then Zulhiyani had been writing that diary ever since he was third grade tsanawiyah. Many also scratches Zulhiyani's hand about his admiration for Master Izzul Islam. Until his last note a year ago that was a little heartwarming.

"I was just fantasizing. I just danced and danced with her in my imaginary paradise. He's real, but just a mirage to me. He glittered but was only the most distant star to me. But when the dance floor was laid out in front of me, my mind still could not reach him. How could a diamond-covered worm? Let me continue to pray to get you in heaven later, Master Teacher;

Zulhiyani, 2019.

Rianti gave a long sigh. He smiled at Suhaini and Nur Jamila who lowered their faces.

"Your friend is poetic" said Rianti. He closed the diary and put it in his pocket.

"You guard the house? Don't forget to bring Abdul Khalik and Zaebon food" Rianti said. Both nod. Rianti then stepped towards his room. Using only makes up, he immediately went out to the living room.

"Come, sir," said Rianti. Actually, he felt guilty because it had made Master Izzul Islam and Nurmah's inak wait too long. But he felt the need to know what really happened before visiting Zulhiyani's house. If you want to treat someone who is sick, you first need to know what the cause of the pain is. That way, the medicine given will be able to cure it immediately.

Rianti immediately approached the direction of Nurmah's inak who was sitting anxiously. He immediately embraces the body of Nurmah's inak and invites her to wake up. He then pulled her out of the house into the car. Outside, Zaebon and Abdul Khalik who had just come and waited on the terrace, immediately stood saluting when he saw Master Izzul Islam out. Abdul Khalik smiled as Inak Nurmah held his shoulder as it passed in front of him. Apparently inak Nurmah finally managed to meet with Master Izzul Islam.

"Thank you, son," said Inak Nurmah. Master Izzul Islam smiled at Abdul Khalik.

"Do you know Abdul Khalik?" whispered Rianti while opening the car door for inak Nurmah.

"He gave me money and food when my mother came here yesterday" Nurmah replied. "Alhamdulillah, me and my son can eat until this morning," continued inak Nurmah after he felt comfortable in the front car seat. He sat next to Mr. Guru Izzul Islam who immediately became a car driver. Rianti and Jamila sat in the back seat. Azka who began to look sleepy so comfortably leaned on Jamila's chest.

"Bon, you just rest, yes, later tonight we have an invitation in the west corner," said Mr. Guru Izzul Islam after turning on his car engine. Zaebon nodded. Slowly the white avelos car was moving out of the courtyard of the house.

Jamila stared at the rear-view mirror above the head of Master Izzul Islam. He poked Rianti's thigh beside him. Rianti smiled. He then took out Zulhiyani's diary from his pocket. After a while of flipping through the diary slowly, he showed the last note he read. Jamila frowned. He did not understand the words he was reading. He looked at Rianti while raising both shoulders. Rianti smiled. He told Jamila to come closer. After being convinced that Master Izzul Islam did not notice them, Rianti brought his lips closer to Jamila's ear.

"Our husband is the best. Zulhiyani was admiring our husband" whispered Rianti as she gave a thumbs up. Jamila's eyes were wide open. Brow shriveling. He still did not understand, but a while later, he smiled seeing Rianti smiling herself looking ahead. Jamila began to understand. He looks to nod his head. Jamila glanced at Rianti and re-picked her thigh. Rianti.

"Keep, what should we do." change Jamila whispered.

"How do you think" asked Rianti back. Jamila smile. This time he looked ahead. Right to the back of the head of Master Izzul Islam.

"Whatever your decision is, I'll go along" replied Jamila.

"What?" said Master Teacher Izzul Islam with a little look back. He looked at Jamila and Rianti alternately through the rearview mirror above his head.

Up!

Jamila covered her mouth with one of her hands. One of his hands tightly held Azka's body that had been washed away in her sleep. He unconsciously spoke too loudly that Master Teacher Izzul Islam heard him. Rianti couldn't help but smile. He is seen hiding his face with one of his hands while throwing his gaze towards the window of the car next to him.

"Nothing, Brother Master. I talked to Rianti, "Jamila replied while fixing Azka's position on her lap.

The sound of prayers flowed melodiously from the tape played by Mr. Guru Izzul Islam. The atmosphere in the car was quiet without a word coming out. Seeing the Nurmah inak had quietly fallen asleep with his body tilted and leaning against the window of the car, they did not want to disturb him. All that is visible is their lips that move following the shalawat. After an hour and a half of the journey and reaching a border monument, Mr. Guru Izzul Islam stopped his car. They have entered the Batu Nampar village. To find where Nurmah's house is, inevitably they have to wake her up.

Master Izzul Islam turned towards Rianti and Jamila. He ordered one of the two to wake Nurmah's inak. Inak Nurmah fell asleep with his loud snoring. Both Rianti and Jamila felt unbearable to wake him up. There was clearly a tired look on his face. It's like never having a good night's sleep in a comfortable place.

"We need to wake her up. We don't want to stay here. If we have to wait for him to wake up alone, we also do not know when he will wake up," said Master Izzul Islam with a smile.

Rianti is behind the Nurmah camp. He let out a long sigh and advanced his body. Nurmah's hands were gently rubbed.

"Mom, mother," said Rianti slowly. There's no response whatsoever. Rianti grimaced heartlessly. It made Master Izzul Islam and Jamila smile.

"Yes, God, I can't bear it, Brother Master. Poor mother. Yes, God, if you want to stay at home, I will buy you two soft beds so you can sleep as much as possible" Rianti said. He reawakened the Nurmah. Rianti again grimaced while closing his eyes when Nurmah's inak surged awake because of shock.

"Oh, sorry, I woke up mother," Rianti said as she fused her palms together, apologizing. Inak Nurmah rubbed his eyes while cleaning the dirt in his eyes. For a moment Nurmah looked around him. He looked confused and seemed to have forgotten he was in the car.

"Where Am I. Where's zulhiyani?" inak Nurmah said while alternately looking at the three. Master Izzul Islam smiled and held the shoulders of the Nurmah inak.

"Mom, we're going home to Mom. We have arrived in Batu Nampar village, but we do not know where the mother's house is," said Mr. Guru Izzul Islam.

Inak Nurmah was silent. He looked out the car window.

"Where are the food stalls of Esoh stalls," asked Inak Nurmah. His eyes are still out the window.

"There's ahead, ma'am," said Rianti as he pointed straight ahead. To a small plank that reads Esoh's shop.

"There's an alley, son. We're going into that alley. About two more kilos we'll get to mom's house. Near the rice fields" said Inak Nurmah. Master Izzul Islam smiled. He then restarted his car engine and steered it into the alley.
