NIGHT BUTTERFLY

NIGHT BUTTERFLY
#242

Tonight is the first night of Master Izzul Islam in Nyai Indrawati's house. Since Qurratul Aini was a widow, for the next three days he would be with Qurratul Aini before turning his other wives.

After finishing dinner with Qurratul Aini and Nyai Indrawati, Mr. Guru Izzul Islam took Qurratul Aini out for a while to visit the tombs of Master Faeshal and Cristian. After praying, he took Qurratul Aini to take a walk to see the condition of the empty dormitory. Mr. Guru Izzul Islam let out a long sigh when the flashlight of his cellphone showed the condition of the former dormitory which almost all the walls blackened due to moss. In part, the walls were already covered by wild vines. Several books were piled together with fragments of tile that fell from the top of the building.

"Tomorrow early in the morning, we should get some people to clean this dormitory. We will also pair the lights so that the situation here is not too dark," said Master Izzul Islam after returning from checking the condition of the dorm in front of him. Qurratul Aini nodded his head.

Mr. Guru Izzul Islam then invited Qurratul Aini closer to the mosque located in the middle of the Dormitory.

"What do you think if this place we live again for parents who want their children to become hafiz and hafizah?" said Mr. Guru Izzul Islam while turning his body to face Qurratul Aini. Qurratul Aini smiled. He nodded his head.

"All I leave to Brother Master,"

Master Izzul Islam smiled.

"We do not do it because of the demands of worshipers who do not want boarding schools that understand the sunnah in the fox to understand what they think is not sunnah because you married me. We just want to minimize the conflict among our fellow Muslims. Do not let just because of the differences that are Furu', we must be hostile to each other," said Mr. Guru Izzul Islam. Qurratul Aini let out a long sigh.

"I don't think what they say, Brother Master. I just want the religious atmosphere in this place to come back to life. This is my greatest happiness,"

Master Teacher Izzul Islam nodded his head with a smile. The shoulder of Qurratul Aini held it gently.

"For a while, Rianti and Jamila can take turns helping you until we find Qur'an memorizers to settle down and teach here" said Mr. Izzul Islam. His gaze was directed towards the dark dormitories and began to be overgrown with bushes and wild plants.

Qurratul Aini looked at Master Guru Izzul Islam from behind.

"Sir, sir" said Qurratul Aini. His tone sounded doubtful. Master Izzul Islam turned back his body.

"What's up, Dik Aini,"

Qurratul Aini let out a long sigh. He hesitated to say something that suddenly appeared in his mind when Mr. Izzul Islam Master immediately invited him to look at the atmosphere in the dormitory.

"Ee.., Nothing, Brother Master. Forget it," said Qurratul Aini. Master Izzul Islam frowned. He knew something was hidden from Qurratul Aini.

"Don't be ashamed to say anything to me, Dik Aini." Master Izzul Islam holds both shoulders of Qurratul Aini.

"As husband and wife, it is not good to hide one another. Say," continued Master Izzul Islam while smiling reassuring Qurratul Aini.

Qurratul Aini smiled as she shook her head slightly.

"This is not something important, Brother Master. It's just a silly question that adults shouldn't ask" Qurratul Aini said. He lowered his head. The gaze of Master Izzul Islam embarrassed him.

Qurratul Aini let out a long sigh. He felt he could no longer dodge. He had to say even if what he was going to say was really unimportant.

"What's this for, eee...Your brother married me?"

Master Izzul Islam smiled. He looked into the fixed eyes of Qurratul Aini. Master Teacher Izzul Islam let out a long sigh and turned his body back towards the dormitory.

"That's the question of a teenager who just got married. This question no longer applies to those of us who are older. Regardless of what I love you for, it doesn't matter. You and I both have clear goals. Enforce the words of God on earth as we can. That is what will make us immortal as a married couple until the Hereafter. When our intention is good, then the intention will lead our household to a sadinah household, mawaddah wa rohmah. Whether it was originally based on love or not." Master Izzul Islam paused for a moment.

"The Prophet married nine women not solely out of lust. Among the wives of the Prophet was only Ayesha who was a girl, the other was a widow, said Master Izzul Islam.

Qurratul Aini lowered his head. He was really embarrassed by the reply of Master Izzul Islam. The reply of Master Izzul Islam seemed to have slapped his face very hard.

Master Izzul Islam is closer. His words made Qurratul Aini become embarrassed and continued to bow his head. Unwilling to see Qurratul Aini go awry, Master Izzul Islam embraced him tightly. The heart of Qurratul Aini was pounding. The warmth of Master Izzul Islam's body shook the shame in his heart. He currently feels in full protection and security. No more shame. Master Izzul Islam is now her husband.

"Come, the air here is too cold. It is time we enter" whispered Master Izzul Islam in the ear of Qurratul Aini. Qurratul Aini nodded. He responded tightly to the hand of Master Izzul Islam when Master Izzul Islam embraced him. The two then stepped out of the dormitory.

* * * * *

Elsewhere, Fahmi still looks stunned staring at the tabebuya flowers that bloom in the yard. Allah has answered his prayer of istikharah with the acceptance of Master Izzul Islam's proposal by Qurratul Aini. And he's happy with that. Although he himself, with his principles that do not know dating, probably will not be able to find a girl who will be his life companion later. He could only hope and did not have the courage to look for himself. Let him wait just as Master Izzul Islam had waited fifteen years for Rianti to meet him. He hoped that his hope would come true later with his prayer to get a godly wife.

The night is late. Occasional windcruises were heard sweeping through the leaves of the trees. The sky looks dark. The black clouds that covered the surface of the sky, covered the stars. Raindrops were heard falling. Not long after, it rained heavily.

Jamila and Rianti were still sitting looking at each other in the living room while listening to the sound of heavy rain outside the house. It was 11pm and they were both unable to sleep. There was something that didn't seem to be in the house. Since dinner last night, the atmosphere of the house feels so quiet.

There's a joke from Master Izzul Islam that went missing tonight. The times where Master Izzul Islam took his long time with both of them. They both narrate ancient sasak stories full of wisdom, or read both some stories in the usfuriyah book. In his calm and silent nature, the occasional Master Izzul Islam issued a joke that made both of them laugh. Though both Rianti and Jamila were used to staying until late at night. But this time, it was a little different. Perhaps because of the distance and only three days later Master Izzul Islam will return home.

Jamila sighed and shifted her body closer towards Rianti.

"It's better if Aini lives here. I'm kangen Mr" said Jamila. Rianti smiled. He patted Jamila's thigh. Rianti gave a long sigh.

"Same. But I think we should get used to it. We can't possibly have Aini stay here. He's got a boarding school he needs to wake up and watch. Patience, two more days, your brother will definitely go home. He has to be fair to rotate all his wives" Rianti said. Jamila nodded.

"Or just like this. If you want to be crowded, we go to Inak's room. Look at Azka" said Jamila.

"Are you still awake?" ask Rianti. Jamila did not answer. He immediately got up and pulled Rianti's hand.

"If not wrong, Suhaini was told to cook corn kernels young. They must have not slept," said Jamila as she continued to pull Rianti's hand towards the back room.
