Chapters 15. Start to Break Up Asa

Ruli in fact still does not change his stance about Sharmila. To her, Sharmila is a woman who has cheated on her son and does not deserve to be Rian's wife. She had even been looking for another female candidate whom she considered more deserving to be Rian's wife.

"Here you go, don't keep pushing your will. I love Sharmila, and I will always love her" Rian said.

"Yes, stop it, Rian. Mama knows you love her, but you can't give your marriage your blessing. You must marry a woman who is better than Sharmila," Ruli replied in a stern tone.

"Don't say that, ma. Sharmila is a good person and deserves to be my wife. I won't leave him," Rian said, sticking to his stance.

Sharmila who listened to their conversation from behind, felt sad and disappointed. He tried his best to apologize and change himself for the better, but his mother-in-law still did not want to give their blessing to their marriage.

"I'm sorry, Rian. I know I've made you have trouble with mommy, hyks hyks hyks.." Sharmila said in tears.

Rian hugged Sharmila and calmed his heart. "Don't cry, Sharmila. I love you, and I will always love you. We'll find a way to make mama bless our marriage" she said, stroking Sharmila's head.

Sharmila feels warmth and love from Rian, but she also feels sad because her mother-in-law does not want to accept it. He felt lost hope of being able to unite with Rian.

A few days later, Ruli comes home with a future wife for Rian. Sharmila of course felt sad and hurt to see her mama and mama do that.

"Ma, why do you keep pushing? M-ila loves Rian, and Rian loves M-ila. Why can't you accept that fact?" sharmila asked in a sad tone.

"Ck! I want the best for Rian. You know for yourself that you don't deserve to be Rian's wife" replied Rian's mother in a stern tone.

"Ta-pi ma, Mila is already trying to get better. M-ila finds out that Mila was wrong, and Mila apologizes. Ta-pi why can't mom give our wedding blessing?" sharmila said in a stammering voice.

"Mama can't give your marriage your blessing. You have to accept that reality, Sharmila," Rian's mother replied in a cynical tone.

Sharmila felt disappointed and sad. He doesn't know what to do anymore. She loves Rian, but her mother Rian is still unwilling to accept her presence. Sharmila felt trapped in a difficult situation.

In fact, Ruli feels increasingly frustrated and desperate to see the relationship Rian and Sharmila who do not get blessing from him. He felt that Sharmila had lied to their family and brought havoc on their family.

Ruli feels that Rian must find a better and worthy woman to be a life partner.

That was why, Ruli started looking for girls who were suitable for Rian. He visits his friends and asks for their help to find a future wife for Rian. She also follows blind dating events and tries to find a future wife for Rian through a matchmaking agency.

"Ma, I know you don't like Sharmila and my son. But I love him, and I feel happy with them. I know you want the best for me, but I hope you can accept this situation" Rian said.

Ruli was silent for a moment. She felt sad to see her son sad like this, but she also could not accept this state of affairs.

"My son, I want the best for you. I know you love her, but I can't accept this either. What if you're looking for a better girl?" ask Ruli.

Rian felt sad and disappointed by his mother's reply. "Ma, I love Sharmila. I don't want to find another girl. I want to build a family with him. Please, accept this situation," Rian said in a trembling voice.

Ruli was silent for a moment. He felt a dilemma, on the one hand he wanted the best for his son, but on the other hand he could not accept this situation.

Moments later, Ruli ventured to talk to Sharmila. He wants to hear directly from Sharmila about his feelings and his reasons for wanting to improve the relationship with his son.

"Sharmila, I know you've apologized several times. I also know you're trying to mend a relationship with Rian. But I still can't accept you and your son. Please, explain to me what really happened and how you feel" Ruli said.

"Mila loves Rian, ma."

"Ck, it's because you've no other way, is it! So you better get out of Rian's life."

Things get harder when Ruli starts asking Sharmila to leave Rian and asks Rian to find another better woman. Sharmila felt sad and disappointed because she really loved Rian and did not want to lose him. However, she also understood that her mother-in-law had reason to feel angry and disappointed at her.

Sharmila has been trying to keep up her relationship with Rian and their son. She kept praying that her mother would finally give her blessing to their marriage. All of this made Sharmila even more desperate. He doesn't know what to do to repair his relationship with his mother Rian. He felt that he had done all he could, but still did not succeed. Sharmila prays that there is a way to repair her relationship with her mother Rian, but all seems impossible.
