Chapter 7. Unaccepting

But Rian's mother has the least to accept Sharmila's cheating all along. He asked Rianoir to divorce Sharmila.

Ruli really felt very disappointed and angry at what had happened. She feels that Sharmila has betrayed Rian and their family by having an affair and allowing herself to get pregnant with someone else, even before marrying Rian.

His suspicions grew stronger after seeing the faces of babies who did not resemble their families at all.

Rian and Sharmila perform DNA tests to confirm that the child is Rian's child.

After the test results came out, they all realized that the child was indeed not Rian's biological child. However, Rian still decided to stay with Sharmila and their son. Rian tried to explain this situation to Ruli, his mother. However, Ruli does not understand and asks Rian to divorce Sharmila.

Rian's mother sits in the living room, crying and holding a photo of Rian as a child. Rian entered the room and saw his mother like that, he immediately felt sad and walked up to his mother.

"Ma, why is mom crying?" ask Rian who feels guilty.

"Rian, what happened to you? Don't you know that the child Sharmila was born to is not your child? How did this happen, Rian?" tanya Ruli is tight.

"I know, ma. I know everything and I've talked to Sharmila about this. I still love him and his son too. What happened is already happening and we have to figure out a way to deal with it."

Ruli shook her head several times hearing the answer given by her son.

"But how can you see that kid every day, Rian? How can you love someone else's child like that? What are you going to tell people when they find out about this?" tanyanya did not believe.

"Rian doesn't care what anyone else will say, ma. I still love Sharmila and her son. This child is not Rian's flesh blood, but Rian took care of him from the time he was still in the womb until he was born. Rian can't separate himself from them, ma."

Ruli smiled with disappointment. "But you have to think about your future, Rian. What would happen if you decided to stay with Sharmila? How are you going to take care of that kid all the time?"

"Sorry, mom. Rian will not break with Sharmila. Rian will continue to take care of this child as Rian's own. Rian knew this was hard to understand, but this was Rian's decision and Rian felt unable to leave them."

Ruli closed her eyes hearing the words of her son. "Oh, Rian. You have always been a good boy and have a big heart. I know you love Sharmila, but you also have to think about your future. Mama just wants what's best for you."

Rian smiled happily at the words of his mother. "Thank you, ma. Rian appreciates my mother's concerns, but Rian believes that Rian has chosen the best for Rian and for Rian's family as well."

Unfortunately, every time Rian tried to defend Sharmila, her mother got angrier. "You can't believe it! He has deceived you and our family! How can you accept a child who is not of your own blood?" he said with a tone full of anger.

Rian tries to explain that he still loves Sharmila and their child, and that he will not leave them. However, her mother could not accept the fact that her son had been betrayed. "I can't live in the same house as the woman who ruined our family!" said firmly.

That was when Rian felt extremely devastated. She loves her mother and does not want to lose the good relationship they have built over the years. But she also loves Sharmila and their son. He doesn't know what else to do.

Meanwhile, Ruli continues to find out more about Sharmila and her family. She meets their neighbors, Sharmila's friends, even her ex-boyfriend. Everyone tells him about Sharmila and Alex's love story, about how they love each other and how Sharmila has been devastated when Alex suddenly disappears.

However, Rian's mother did not want to hear all that. To her, Sharmila is a con artist who corrupts her family. He is increasingly convinced that Rian must divorce Sharmila and reject their child who is not of her blood.

Rian felt very pinched. In a way, she loves Sharmila and their child and does not want to lose them. On the other hand, she loved her mother and did not want to lose the good relationship they had built up over the years.

He tried to avoid a debate with his mother and tried to discuss the matter with Sharmila. However, Sharmila was still very devastated and felt very guilty for everything that had happened. He says that he will leave Rian if that is what his family wants.

Rian felt increasingly depressed and did not know what else to do. He tried to seek help from his friends and even sought counseling, but all was not helpful. He felt trapped in a difficult situation and did not know what else to do.

Eventually, Rian decides to maintain his relationship with Sharmila and their son. He knows that it will be a big challenge, but he is confident that he still loves them and will strive to make everything better than before.

Her mother Rian tries not to tell her family Sharmila about her suspicions, as she does not want to make the situation worse. She started browsing through Sharmila's social media and finding out who she interacted with. Her mother Rian also wonders to Sharmila's neighbors and friends for more information about her family background.

After finding out more, Rian's mother finally discovers that Sharmila indeed had a relationship with Alex, before she met Rian. Rian's mother felt increasingly convinced that her grandson was not her own flesh and blood, and that Sharmila's family had been deceiving him all along.

"It turns out like this."

Ruli finally decides to confront Sharmila with her suspicions. She comes to Sharmila's house and asks to talk to both Sharmila's parents and her family. Rian's mother also points to the evidence she has gathered about Sharmila's relationship with Alex, and accuses Sharmila of deceiving Rian and his family.

"It really can't be allowed. You guys have fooled me!"
