Chapter 9. Fix Circumstances

Rian sat on the sofa while staring blankly at the flaming television. Sharmila approached him with a thumping heart.

"Rian, I'm sorry," Sharmila said, looking down.

Rian did not reply and continued staring at the television.

"I know I've made a big mistake. I don't know what to say or do" Sharmila continued.

Rian who sat beside Sharmila, did not care, still staring blankly towards the front. Sharmila was nervous, not knowing what to say. The atmosphere in the room was so silent, only the sound of the breathing of the two of them filled the living room.

After a while, Rian finally broke the silence. "We need to talk seriously, Sharmila. I need honesty from you. Who is the biological father of our child?"

Sharmila felt extremely nervous and scared as Rian asked the question. He felt that everything would end there and there would be no more happiness in his life. But he also felt that he had to face reality and tell the truth to Rian.

"I'm sorry Mila, Rian mas. Hikss hiks... He, he's Alex." Finally Sharmila was able to give an answer to Rian's question.

"You really disappointed me, Sharmila. I don't know how to forget this" Rian said in a hollow voice.

Sharmila sat down beside Rian and held her husband's hand gently. "I know it's hard for both of us. But I don't want to get away from you. I-I love you, Rian mas. Please give me a chance to correct this mistake" Sharmila said nervously.

Rian pulled his hand violently and stood up from the sofa. "You know, Sharmila, you've been cheating on me all this time. I don't know if I can trust you anymore" he said in a trembling voice.

"Hikss hiks... Yeah, Mila understands that you're mad at me, Rian. But I promise I won't make that mistake again. I-I'm sorry, Rian mas," Sharmila replied.

Rian was silent for a moment and then turned to look at Sharmila. "I need some time to think about it, Sharmila. I can't be sure what's going to happen to the two of us after all this" he said.

Sharmila cried and stood up to hug Rian. "Please, Rian. Don't leave my a-ku. I-I wouldn't be able to live without you" she said with a trembling voice between her sobs.

"Hhh. I don't know. But I can forgive, provided on condition."

Rian forgives Sharmila, on condition that she never contact Alex again, no matter what happens to their family. Rian also tries to help Sharmila to apologize and reach for her mother's blessing again.

Rian reciprocates Sharmila's embrace, but secretly he still feels annoyed and disappointed at Sharmila. He needed time to think about whether he could forgive Sharmila or not.

A while later, Sharmila raised her face and looked at Rian with expectant eyes. "I promise I won't involve my family. Please, don't tell anyone about this. Let us solve this problem ourselves," he said in a soft voice.

This situation is really confusing for both of them. They do not know how to solve this problem properly without hurting the feelings of each other and their families. They both feel trapped in a situation filled with uncertainty and anxiety.

When they spoke, their mood felt extremely tense. Sharmila tries to explain what happened and apologizes to Rian. He seemed to feel very guilty and sad for having made Rian and his family hurt. Rian also looks very angry and disappointed with what happened, but he tries to maintain his strength. He tried to hold back his emotions so as not to look too weak in front of Sharmila.

As they spoke, there was a long silence. The two try to find a way out of this situation, but they are still trapped in a complicated situation and filled with emotions. They both try to express their feelings honestly, but sometimes find it difficult to find the right words.

Rian pondered for a moment and then nodded. "Alright, I won't involve your family. But I need time to think things through" he said firmly.

Sharmila heaved a sigh of relief and thanked Rian. They then sat side by side, talking about their son and an uncertain future.

After listening to Sharmila's explanation and understanding her plight, Rian finally decided to forgive her. However, he sets out the conditions for Sharmila to no longer contact Alex and not involve her family in the matter.

Sharmila agreed to the terms and was willing to do whatever it took to correct her mistake.

Rian and Sharmila begin to mend their relationship and attempt to understand each other. They try to open up and talk openly about their feelings. They also try to find ways to make their children grow up happy and feel loved.

Finally, Rian and Sharmila managed to solve their problems. They are happy together and they are improving their relationship. They promise to support each other and build a happy family.

Rian feels responsible for helping Sharmila apologize to her mother and regain her blessing. She knew that her mother would be very disappointed with Sharmila and it would be difficult for her to forgive Sharmila, coupled with her opposing decision. Rian plans to take Sharmila and their son to his mother's house, where he will apologize on Sharmila's behalf.

Now that they arrived at Rian's mother's house, Rian's mood became restless. He knows that it will be a difficult meeting, but he has to correct the mistakes that have happened. Sharmila seemed to be feeling nervous and anxious, but she followed Rian confidently.

"Mas," call Sharmila looking nervous.

"Quiet, yeah. I'm here for you."
