One Day Trip in Bintan
After breakfast, Belva actually kept his promise to take Sara around the island of Bintan. After all, honeymoon is not limited to activities in bed, is it? The newlyweds also need time to walk around while relaxing their minds.
“You want to go for a walk now?” ask Belva to Sara.
“Iya want .. just a moment Mas, it's really hot here it looks. So, I take the jacket first,” reply Sara.
Belva nodded his head and waited for his wife to take a jacket from inside her jacket. Sara then took at once her sling bag that was enough to accompany her to take a walk exploring the natural beauty of Bintan Island.
“Yuk Mas, already,” reply Sara now.
Belva stretched out her hand and began to hold Sara's hand. Linking her fingers on every finger of Sara's.
“You're a weird way, baby?” asked Belva who paid little attention to the way Sara walked which she thought was strange. Of course after that Belva actually chuckles amusedly to see the way his wife walks that strange.
Reflexes, Sara hit her husband's arm. “Very damn, which makes me trouble the road like gini who tried,” said Sara.
Belva actually chuckled and glanced at the face of his wife, “I .. I who made you road trouble. Sorry well .. later abis a walk, I incandescent. Let me not tired,” reply Belva now gently.
“Iya excused,” says Sara. It was all because Sara did not mind and could accept everything about her husband.
Then Belva opened the car door first for Sara and began to help her to enter the car. After that, Belva circled the car, and entered the steering wheel.
“Streetings yes we ... before later lock you later,” said Belva mischievously this time.
Sara just shined a sharp spotlight on the man sitting next to her, “Kok now you are naughty anyway Mas? The feeling was not deh,” reply Sara now.
“And I told you, I want to be just like you. Not going rogue with the others,” reply Belva who answered Sara's question while glancing at his wife. “So, I can't be naughty?” ask Belva again.
This is a question that Sara has a hard time answering. However, Sara will still try to answer questions from Belva.
“Maybe I'm just not used to it yet. Especially with your old attitude and character. So, yes I'm not used to it,” reply Sara now.
Belva then nodded her head, “Alright. However, if you prefer the old me, like worthless expressionless, I will do it too,” Belva replied.
Belva doesn't want to make Sara feel uncomfortable by her side. He himself has changed. After all, indeed someone can change as time goes by. However, maybe Sara still needs time to get to know Belva with her current nature and behavior.
“It's okay ... anything about you, I don't matter,” Sara replied in the end.
Belva nodded her head, and now the man also stopped his car at a beach called Lagoi Bay. Lagoi Bay or usually known as Lagoi Beach is a calm beach with white sand that is so charming. The waves here are not strong, so they can be used for swimming. Lagoi Beach is directly opposite the South China Sea.
Belva again took Sara by the hand and invited her to sit on a grass, under the Nyiur trees that were lined around the beach.
“The beach here looks like the waves are not as fast as in Java huh Mas?” ask Sara.
“Iya .. because the beach here is not directly opposite the Ocean. While if the beaches, especially on the coast of Java Island will be directly faced with the Indian Ocean,” reply Belva with so much detail.
They choose to enjoy the wind cradle on the coast while buying ice Kelapa Muda. A simple vacation actually, but it already makes Sara so happy. The woman even seemed to sigh many times and breathe the fresh air on the coast.
“This time we go to Kijang well?” take Belva to Sara.
“Iya .. I just follow. How do you know the streets here anyway Mas?” ask Sara again.
Belva then smiled, glancing at his wife, “I once worked on a project here, Darling. There is only one way here. Follow the map on the phone alone is sure to kok,” reply Belva.
Satisfied to enjoy Lagoi Beach is so calm and white sand is so beautiful, now Belva again invites Sara to buy Otak-Otak in Kijang. The area that became the center of sales of Otak-Otak on Bintan Island is also a place that must be visited by tasting culinary typical of Bintan Island.
Almost 45 minutes drive, now they have arrived in the Kijang area. Belva stopped his car at a house peddling Brain-Brain Fish and Squid.
“Brain-Brain Message Yes Mom, 20 packs first,” order Belva.
The seller also began to bake Brains packed with coconut leaves and roast them on charcoal. In about ten minutes, a plate of Brains-Brain was presented in front of Sara and Belva.
Belva starts taking one Brain-Brain, blowing it, and then giving it to Sara.
“This try Darling ... if you have eaten Otak-Otak Kijang, meaning you have been to Bintan,” reply Belva.
Sara received the Brains and began to taste them. First, it felt quite strange on his tongue. However, over time, Sara also spent one of the Brains.
“Enak sih .. rather care so,” reply Sara.
“Iya .. it's delicious. Now try the Cuttlefish (Cumi-Cumi – people in the Malay region usually call Squid with the name Cuttlefish).” said Belva while opening a Otak-Otak with cuttlefish slices in it.
Sara received it again and opened it, “Hmm, good too anyway ... You don't try Mas?” ask Sara then.
Belva then smiled, “You used to try, if it's new me,” reply.
Sara then opened the coconut leaves that wrap the Brains and then fed it to Belva, “You are also Mas .. don't just prioritize me,” reply Sara now.
“Please Dear ... good well have a wife, eat Brains-Brain just booked and bribed like gini,” reply Belva while glancing towards Sara.
After all, not because of the luxury of the holidays and enjoying the honeymoon, but also the sense of care and attention with the couple who made the day trip in Bintan that day so memorable for Sara and Belva.
