CHAPTER SIXTEEN: THE RING FOR RONI

The night grew late in silence. The half moon rose up into the sky, emitting its dim light and not much light into the darkness.

Now Prince Henry and Roni are walking together through the hallway of the palace. Prince Henry will show room to Roni. According to the orders of Queen Andora, Roni will temporarily settle or stay in the palace within an indefinite period. Especially when Queen Andora knows the great potential of Roni's body. That potential cannot be wasted.

"For a while you stay in the palace" said Prince Henry as he walked beside Roni.

"Is it no problem?" roni asked doubtfully.

"Of course it doesn't matter. Even you have obtained permission from Queen Mother Andora to remain in the palace" replied Prince Henry. "Have you forgotten my purpose in taking you to the palace?" Further.

Roni recalled for a moment and replied, "I didn't forget. You want to train me to learn magic, don't you?"

"Yeah, that's it. Therefore, you must stay in the palace until you can control your power completely" explained Prince Henry.

Roni immediately said, "Then am I allowed to go home to Eldoria?"

"That's possible. It depends on the Queen's Mother's decision" replied Prince Henry without a second thought.

It did not feel now that the two of them had arrived in front of the room that would be occupied by Roni. It just so happened that the room had not been occupied for a long time but was still routinely cleaned by the palace janitor.

"Now this room is yours" said Prince Henry, slowly opening the door. "Let's go in!" He invited Roni to go into the room.

When he first entered the room, Roni immediately felt amazed. This bedroom room is filled with luxury with walls decorated with gold and blue motifs, elegant furniture, and beautiful silk curtains that wave. A large bed with baldaquin stands in the middle of the room. While the crystal chandelier illuminates the room with a sparkling light. Cold marble floors create a luxurious atmosphere, and the large windows overlooking the palace gardens add a touch of natural beauty.

"The room was very large and very nice!" Roni was amazed. Eyes twinkling. Never once did he see such a luxurious bedroom. This was the first time Roni had set foot in such a luxurious room. Then suddenly Roni felt bad. "Is this room not too much for me?" Further.

Henry laughed a little and said, "Oh, of course not. You know, this room is no better than mine."

Roni who incidentally his son of commoners and did not understand the things that were all luxurious was surprised. "Huh!? how good is your room!? If this room is too luxurious!"

Again Henry can only laugh at the behavior of Roni who impressed tacky. "Haha... Nevermind! You don't ask me anything that doesn't matter."

Instantly Roni realized his shameful behavior earlier. "Sorry, I was just surprised."

"No problem. I know, maybe you're not used to seeing the fancy stuff" replied Henry understandingly. Henry then explained what was in the room. "The clothes for you are already in the closet, then if you want to take a shower, there is a bathroom on the right." Henry pointed at the closed bathroom door. Yes, the bathroom becomes one with the bedroom.

Roni tried not to be surprised even though he was confused, why is there a bathroom in the bedroom? his inner. He then stepped in front of the bathroom.

Henry opened the bathroom door, immediately the luxury seemed to decorate the bathroom. Roni could not speak. The bathroom was lined with light blue marble walls combined with gold accents. Large antique-style mirrors decorate the walls, reflecting the architectural beauty of the room. The spacious bathtub is lined with artistic tiles of eagle motifs, while the golden shower drains the water into the tub gently. Every detail, from the chandelier to the bathroom furniture, illustrates the abundant elegance in the bathroom.

"It's too fancy for me. I just want something simple" Roni said after observing the lavishness of the bathroom. To him the luxury of the bedroom and bathroom was inappropriate for his simple self.

"In the palace, there are no simple bathrooms, everything is luxurious" Prince Henry replied with a smile. The young man then patted Roni on the shoulder and said, "Don't feel inferior. Enjoy your life at Andora's Palace." After pausing for a moment, he continued, "Tomorrow, don't forget to attend the witchcraft training in the palace. I'll come get you. Good night."

Without saying any further, Prince Henry stepped out of the room, leaving Roni still speechless in front of the bathroom door.

"Wait a minute, I still want to talk to you." Roni tried to dissuade Prince Henry, but unfortunately, the prince had already fully come out and did not hear his plea.

Now Roni is really alone in the bedroom is very spacious and very luxurious. Now the room is his. He will take care of the room as well as possible, such as taking care of his own room.

"I'm very tired" said Roni as she stepped closer to the chair next to the mattress. Then Roni sat down and leaned her back. He stared at the very high ceiling of the room. Unconsciously his eyes closed, gradually getting closer.

"Hey Prince Henry, is Royalty asleep?" Princess Victoria walked up to Prince Henry who now walked through the palace hallway. They will go to their own rooms.

"Maybe I left him when the Royalty wasn't asleep" replied Prince Henry.

Princess Victoria took out a luxurious water wave-shaped and light blue ring from inside her skirt pocket, then said, "Tomorrow, please give this ring to Royalty."

"Ring?" prince Henry's parrot stared at the ring on his brother's palm.

"Yes, this ring symbolizes the power possessed by the Royalty. Although I have not seen his power directly, but I understand that the boy has the power of the water element" replied Princess Victoria.

Princess Victoria has the ability to see a talent that someone has even though she has never seen it in person before. So do not be surprised if Princess Victoria can guess the ability that Roni has. In addition, Princess Victoria also has a magical skill in creating light sources and expelling the aura of darkness.

"Yes of course. I made this ring special for him." Princess Victoria was proud.

Princess Victoria made the ring with the help of a jeweler who is experienced in creating various jewelry and has worked in the Andora Kingdom for many years.

Princess Victoria and Prince Henry continue their steps while chatting. Unwittingly, they arrive at Prince Henry's doorstep. Prince Henry then said goodbye to rest and immediately entered the room. Princess Victoria kindly said good night to her sister before finally stepping into her private room.

Sunlight crept slowly in the sky, illuminating the towers and walls of the palace. A thin mist flashed through the garden, giving it a magical feel, while the gurgling water from the fountain and the fragrant flower filled the air with fragrance. The birds around the palace are heard singing to each other as if welcoming the dawn, thus creating a natural orchestra that adds to the beauty in the morning.

Roni blinked her eyes a few times as she felt the warm sunlight hitting her one eye. When Roni opened his eyes wide, he was immediately shocked and aghast to wake up after knowing he was in a very luxurious room. Before the confusion occurred, Roni briefly recalled that last night he was escorted by Prince Henry to this room.

"Excuse me. You're awake apparently," said Prince Henry who had just entered the room, making Roni surprised. "You seem to have forgotten not to close the door. As I passed in front of your room, I saw that the door was still open." He continued as he stepped closer to Roni who was standing in front of the chair.

Roni replied nervously, "Sorry, I'm too tired and didn't have time to close the door."

"Next time you have to be thorough, don't be careless. It was fortunate that the security of the palace was very well preserved."

"Sorry, I will try to be kind" replied Roni who felt bad.

"That's good, try to be nice while in the palace." Prince Henry paused for a moment then again said, "Go ahead, there's something I want to talk to you about. You better look good before we start the conversation."

Prince Henry's words made Roni realize, then the teenage boy looked down, he was shocked when he found his clothes were messy and tangled. Don't forget the messy hair. Roni's performance was really bad.

"I'm sorry. I'll take a shower and clean myself up. Just wait a minute." Roni immediately covered the bathroom and will immediately clean up.

Henry shook his head at Roni's behavior. It didn't take long, Roni was done taking a shower. His appearance was better now than before. His hair and face looked wet and fresh. His clothes also looked a little neat.

"Come here, I want to talk to you." Henry asked Roni to sit next to him.

Roni nodded, stepped closer to the chair then sat down next to Henry. Then they started the conversation.

"What do you want to talk to me about?"

Prince Henry smiled and pulled out a wave-shaped ring of water given by his sister, Princess Victoria. The ring was made especially for Roni.

"Your ring is so pretty." Roni was amazed to see the beauty of the ring.

Prince Henry began to explain, "This ring is not mine, but it was made especially for you. Princess Victoria gave you this ring. Accept it."

"You're not kidding, are you?" Roni did not believe Prince Henry's words just like that.

"Did you see my facial expression was joking?" Prince Henry asked back.

Roni bent her brows deeply, staring at Henry's face which showed no signs that the prince was joking. "No." Roni shook her head.

"For that, accept this ring. Don't let Princess Victoria down because you didn't accept the gift" Henry said, placing the ring on Roni's right palm.

Instantly, Roni's eyes sparkled to show happiness. He did not expect, the Andoran Royal family turned out to be so kind to him. Though Roni had just lived in the palace but the Andoran family seemed to think of him as a brother himself. Roni felt truly grateful for his sudden 180-degree turn, better than before.

"Wear that ring. The ring describes your power. Princess Victoria really hopes you can keep the ring" explained Prince Henry.

Roni was filled with emotion looking at the ring in her palm, permeating every detail that exuded beauty and elegance. "I will guard this ring carefully. Thank you very much, Prince Henry, and thank Princess Victoria."

Prince Henry smiled proudly, "You deserve it, Roni. Now, let's get ready for magic training. This is your first step to exploring the wonders of Andora Palace."

With the ring now adorning her finger, Roni felt more than just a guest at the palace; she felt part of something bigger. With a burning spirit, he entered a new chapter of his life in the Andora Palace. Roni is ready to face the challenges and wonders that await him.
