CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE: THE UNEXPECTED THREAT OF EDWARD

Prince Henry then sat by the lake, watching Roni playing with the water. "It feels like a return to the side of nature and beauty that may be forgotten by the daily grind."

Roni dived within the lake, and occasionally came to the surface of the water. He enjoyed the beauty of the blue lake. Several small fish appear to swim around him, then leave as Roni tries to get close to the fish.

Then Roni again appeared to the surface of the water, and spoke loudly to Prince Henry. "Hey, don't you want to swim!?"

"No! Enjoy your swim!" shouted Prince Henry who was sitting by the river.

"Well," replied Roni and drowned her body in the lake and went back to swimming.

While Roni was engrossed in playing in the lake, Prince Henry pondered for a moment, mesmerized by the natural beauty around him. He mused about his responsibilities as a prince, but right now, he was enjoying a moment of simplicity and peace in the Garden of Life.

Suddenly, Roni reappeared with an excited face. "You sure you don't want to try? I think you'd be interested in swimming in this lake," he asked, flirting with Prince Henry.

Prince Henry let out a short laugh, "Huh, alright, I'll join you." He got up and took off the clothes that left his shorts, so as to show his dashing and proportional body shape, his arms, his chest, his stomach looked perfectly sculpted. After which, he jumped into the lake deftly.

The two of them started swimming together, laughing and enjoying the softness of the water that touched their skin. Meanwhile, Edward who was still lurking, was further distressed by their excitement.

"Ah, they are getting closer, I have to devise a plan to harm them" said Edward, gritting his teeth and clenching his hands.

Prince Henry and Roni chatted while swimming with their heads popping out on the surface of the water.

"The water is so fresh but not too cold" Roni said, moving both her sinking hands and feet, creating a ripple of water.

Prince Henry smiled then replied, "Indeed, this lake has a calming energy. It feels like this water has natural healing powers." He looked around the lake, letting the late-morning sun reflect colourfully on the surface of the water.

Roni nodded in agreement. "It looks like we're very lucky to be adventuring into this place."

While the two of them were still enjoying their moment together, Edward continued to observe from a distance, looking for a gap to carry out his plan. However, the cheerfulness of Princes Henry and Roni seems to be a difficult barrier to cross.

Prince Henry swam over to Roni and said sincerely, "Thank you, Roni. You have brought joy and wonder into my life. I feel lucky to have a friend like you."

Roni smile. "Sama-sama, Prince. It's an unexpected adventure, and I'm glad to be able to share this experience with you."

After a little chat, they then dive into the lake, swim to the other side of the lake that holds natural beauty. In the lake there are large rocks, weeds, beautiful small fish, and the color of the water is getting blue. Prince Henry and Roni continued their contemplation in the warm late-morning sun.

Arriving on the other side of the lake, they sat on a large rock located by the water. The clear water reflects the color of the blue sky, and creates a stunning view. Prince Henry gazed into the distance, while Roni stuck her hand out on the surface of the water.

"It's amazing" Roni said, breaking the silence around her. "It's as if we're in another world away from the crowd."

Prince Henry agreed. "Rubber, Roni. A place like this brings peace and reminds us of the beauty of nature."

Suddenly, they heard the sound of an eagle in the distance, giving off a mystical feel at the end of a bright morning. Prince Henry smiled as the eagle's voice grew farther away, then spoke, "Maybe this is nature's way of telling us if miracles can be found at any time and place."

The atmosphere turned silent as none of them spoke, until suddenly the silence was broken by the neighing sound of the horse. Jack is seen running up to Prince Henry and Roni.

"Hey Jack, what's going on? Why do you look scared?" prince Henry asked as he walked up to Jack.

Jack looked agitated, his big eyes showing a sense of worry. Prince Henry gently stroked the neck of his horse and tried to calm him down.

"Hmm, something's not right" said Roni, who immediately noticed Jack's strange gurgle. "There may be danger around us."

Prince Henry nodded seriously. "We have to be careful. Jack, show me where the danger is."

The horse nodded with its head, as if directing them somewhere. Alert, Prince Henry and Roni follow Jack through a lush forest.

As they approached the more open area, suddenly a tree branch shot rapidly towards Roni. Roni is surprised and will avoid.

"Rone!!" Prince Henry was also surprised and acted quickly to save Roni. The man pulled Roni's hand and hugged her tightly, turning her body to the side so that Roni would avoid the wooden twigs that then darted behind her bare back.

"You were almost hit by the wooden branch" said Prince Henry, looking down beside Roni's ear. While both of his hands were still hugging Roni, his front body was almost stuck to Roni's back.

"Hey release!" Roni was shocked when she realized Prince Henry was holding her from behind. Soon the teenager elbowed Prince Henry's stomach and made the man stagger back.

Prince Henry was forced to let go of his embrace and smiled shyly. "I'm sorry, I just wanted to protect you from that danger."

Roni shook her head casually. "No need to hug me like that. I can take care of myself, you know!"

Prince Henry laughed lightly, "Alright, alright. Again forgive me."

Roni shook her head while smiling in embarrassment. "But thank you for saving me. But be careful with hugging people without permission, huh?"

Prince Henry laughed and replied with a joke, "Hahaha... I'll keep my arms for more urgent situations."

"Damn it, Prince Henry hugged the Royalty and saved her! Truly Prince Henry considers Royalty like his lover only!" edward slammed the small wooden branch next to him in annoyance. "But I will still bother them by throwing some wooden twigs. Haha."

Then Edward directed his hand at the four large wooden twigs located nearby. Then he raised his hand, making the four twigs float in the air. Looking for the right design, Edward then shot the wooden branch and shot quickly towards Prince Henry and Roni.

Prince Henry and Roni noticed the twig move. They both deftly avoided it. Prince Henry rolled to the ground, while Roni leapt high into the air. The four twigs darted under Roni's feet. Then Roni went down quickly and stomped his feet on the ground.

"Well! Who has tried to harm us, Prince?" roni asked as he spread his gaze around him warily.

Prince Henry also looked around seriously. "There's someone who's trying to harm us here. We need to be vigilant."

Edward, who was still hiding behind the bushes, was increasingly frustrated because his efforts continued to be thwarted. He saw Roni and Prince Henry standing in a battle-ready manner.

"You will not escape my threat!" edward muttered while preparing for the next attack.

Prince Henry and Roni remained vigilant as they looked around in silence. There was only the wind and the friction of the lush leaves.

Edward seemed to be getting more emotional. No matter what, he then controlled a large rock, lifting the stone was a little difficult due to the heavy mass of the stone. Then he shot the stone right at Roni.

Prince Henry was surprised to see a stone targeting Roni's body. "Roni, careful!"

As Prince Henry was about to act to save her, Roni skillfully jumped into the air and created a water shield that then surrounded her entire body, instantly the boulder bounced far enough.

"Hahaha, who dares to disturb my composure!?" The Royalty's soul had replaced Roni's. He laughed in his water shield.

"Royalty!?" Prince Henry was a little surprised when he saw the Royalty.

Royalty then broke her water shield and descended slowly to the ground. He spoke to Prince Henry seriously. "Prince Henry, I don't want to talk through Roni anymore. Now, I'm taking over this body for a while. There's someone who's trying to hurt Roni and we need to fight together."

Prince Henry, who was initially shocked, soon understood that the Royalty was present to help. "I trust you, Royalty. Let's work together to overcome that person who might still be around this place."

Edward, who was still hiding in the bushes, was surprised to see Roni suddenly dressed in a light blue and luxurious robe, as if it looked like he was not Roni despite having the same characteristics.

"Huh, how did Royalty suddenly wear clothes? Previously he only wore shorts, "Edward's monologue in a soft voice. "Ah, I must get out of this place immediately!"

Edward felt unable to return to try to harm Roni, then the teenager covered his face with the hood of his black robe, then stood up and ran as fast as lightning towards the north. He forgot to bring his horse.

"Wait, I saw the movement of someone wearing a black robe" Royalty said calmly.

Royalty never panics when she sees something suspicious. He knew he was just a spirit that had no body of its own and relied on Roni's body to channel its power, so he must remain calm and not rush for the safety of the soul Roni who is now sleeping in his subconscious.

"Someone wearing a black robe?" parrot Prince Henry.

"Yes, that person was the same person at the market this morning" Royalty said, smiling cynically at Edward's distant movements, but her eyes could see clearly. Royalty's eyes exceed the sharpness of eagle's eyes.

Prince Henry stared in the same direction as Royalty had seen him. But the man saw nothing but a thick shrub.

"We must always be vigilant, Royalty. That guy seems to be trying to hurt me or Roni" Prince Henry said.

Flashback.

Edward was looking for a way to lure Prince Henry and Roni into his now more open and spacious place. That way, Edward could easily harm both of them.

When he accidentally saw Prince Henry's horse eating grass with his horse, Edward laughed. Thinking if it might be possible to use Jack's intermediary to lure Prince Henry and Roni.

"Hahaha, there's Jack turns out. I have to disturb Jack and the horse will certainly complain to Prince Henry" Edward's monologue. Then the man approached Jack while carrying a large wooden branch.

Then Edward deliberately smashed the twig into the back of Jack's body, leaving Jack shocked and neighing. Once again Edward hit Jack harder and harder, so the horse felt pain and ran away to where Prince Henry and Roni were by the lake.

"Ahaha, the horse will definitely bring Prince Henry here," said Edward who then immediately pulled the reins of his horse. "Hey, you need to hide. Let me show you the way!"

Edward carried the female horse behind a very large tree trunk with leaves so shady that it could completely hide the horse's body. Once confirmed his horse is safe, Edward immediately find the right position to do the action later.

Edward smiled happily as the long-awaited moment came, his guess was right, Prince Henry and Roni came with Jack to his place. Then Edward immediately attacked secretly.

Off Flashback.

Edward cursed annoyed at forgetting his horse when he was already in a very far place. "Damn it, my horse was left in that place."
