ROYALTY: The Lord of the Glorious Water Element
CHAPTER EIGHT: THE MISFORTUNE

Suddenly, the river water surged...

Evelyn, Elan, and the four warriors reflexively turned their eyes towards the river. The river water is getting choppy and raises the suspicion of the four soldiers who pay close attention to the river water. Evelyn and Elan are worried about Roni.

"Oh my God, protect Roni" Evelyn said in a soft voice.

"Water's moving. It's possible that the boy is hiding in the river!" shouted the leader of the soldiers with his right hand pointing straight towards the river, right at the point of the choppy river water. "Hurry, one of you swim into the river and find the boy!" Continue to give the order firmly.

One of the soldiers immediately followed the orders of his leader. He ran close to the riverbank, then he jumped into the water, causing huge ripples of water and splashed in all directions.

Witnessing that, Evelyn and Elan could only fall silent on the spot and pray. They could do nothing but hope for power from God for Roni's salvation.

While one soldier was looking for Roni's presence in the water, the other three soldiers scattered around the forest and river. The four soldiers team up to find Roni's whereabouts. They will not return to Eldoria Palace before Roni is found or they will take their lives at the hands of the ruthless and ruthless King Aric Shadowcaster.

Meanwhile in the river, Roni appears to be swimming away when he sees a soldier searching for his presence in the water. The teenage boy swam in an erratic direction, most importantly he had to save himself. Luckily Roni can breathe long in the water because it has been accustomed to swimming in the river since the age of ten years. It is not wrong if now he is good at adjusting his breath in the water.

Roni looked behind his body, faintly seeing the soldier swimming near him. Immediately panic attacks, Roni accelerates the weaving of both hands and feet so that he can swim faster. Roni rose to the surface as she felt her breathing begin to narrow. He took a deep breath and went back to swimming but did not drown his head. Until his eyes accidentally stared at the edge of the river filled with bushes. Good chance, those bushes Roni can use for hiding place. The boy swam faster and faster towards the riverbank before the soldiers who were chasing him learned of his whereabouts.

Roni breathed a sigh of relief when she reached the riverbank, then she rubbed her wet face. No matter what clothes were soaked in, he rushed to find a hiding place. Roni found a very lush bush, then he hid behind the bushes. It just so happened that the shrub was flanked by two large trees.

From his hiding place, Roni could hear the sound of a man rising to the riverbank with a loud sigh. The man also cursed while throwing spit. Roni was sure, that person was the soldier who had been chasing him in the water.

"Suck where's the kid!?" said the man while observing the surrounding circumstances. He looked to the right and then to the left. "It's fast to disappear." Further.

Roni held her breath as she looked at the man's feet wrapped in iron shoes, right in front of her. He's not moving at all. His heart is beating fast. His eyes focused on the front. Until then Roni can breathe a sigh of relief when the legs of the man in front of her moved.

"Damn it! Where's the kid!?" Again the man cursed and wrath because he never found the whereabouts of his target. Whereas if he researches towards the bushes, he may be able to find the whereabouts of Roni.

When the atmosphere was calm, suddenly a snake from the top of the tree fell right beside Roni. To make him surprised. The boy half-screamed as he stood up, coinciding with the snake moving away from him. This attracted the attention of soldiers who stood not far from where Roni was.

"Hey, you're there!" The soldier immediately chased after Roni with a sword.

Roni in the fog ran in no direction. Occasionally his legs also tripped on tree branches, but Roni still ran, no matter the feet blisters or bleeds. His safety is number one.

"Hey stop!" the man shouted as he occasionally slashed at the shrub or branch of a tree blocking his path.

Roni ran faster and faster with a gasp of breath. Occasionally look back to make sure the soldier was still far behind him. A strong wind hit his face and flew his hair. Unfortunately, when Roni passed the riverbank, he accidentally stepped on the slippery river stone to cause his body to collapse forward and his face smelled mud.

"Hahahaha, I finally found you!" The soldier laughed in satisfaction when he found out Roni had fallen on the mud and seemed to be motionless. He thinks Roni fainted.

Roni looks faint, the soldier uses the opportunity to immediately capture Roni and will bring him before the King of Aric. But before actually reaching Roni's hand, Roni suddenly twisted his body. The boy was pretending to faint.

"Damn it!" The man rubbed his wet face. His nose was sore because of the water.

Roni cleaned his face from the mud and then immediately got up. Use the opportunity to escape before the soldier chases him back.

The man seemed very angry. It's like losing control. Not thinking long, he threw his sword at Roni and hoped to hit the teenager's back. Looking back, Roni was surprised and reflexively threw a water ball towards the sword, unfortunately it did not work, the sword broke the water ball and kept darting towards it. Makes Roni panic in fear. Desperate, Roni rolled to the side to avoid the sword that seemed to be targeting his back.

Roni rolled over and fell into the river. He tried to rise to the surface but the river's very swift currents made him unable to swim. His body felt heavy and seemed to want to be carried away by the river. With his condition, Roni slowly unconscious, along with his body floating on the surface of the water and carried by the river current towards the east.

Meanwhile at Evelyn and Elan's. The two of them looked extremely agitated, distressed, worried and anxious into one. They think of Roni who never came back. While the three soldiers were no longer in that place.

"Where's Roni?" Evelyn sat down by the river. Her tears passed through her cheeks. He could not if he had to lose Roni who was considered like his brother.

While Elan was pacing along the river bank, shouting at Roni's name even though the one who was called was not there.

"Roni! Roni! Hurry back!! The soldier has left!!" elan shouted towards the river. His voice echoed throughout the river, until the birds perched on the trees flew away from his place.

"Roni!! Don't you want to go back? Evelyn and I can't afford to lose you!!" yelled Elan again. It felt futile, his throat felt choked because he had been shouting for Roni. Unfortunately the one called did not respond.

"Is Roni carried away by the river?" elan monologue in a quiet voice. Thinking if indeed Roni has been carried away by the river. Either way he yells Roni's name and hopes Roni returns, it means nothing.

"How is this Elan? I'm so worried about him. I can't afford to lose Roni." Evelyn was crying at the river. His eyes were staring at the river. Hoping for a miracle, Roni appeared to the surface of the river, but in fact only wishful thinking. Roni really wasn't there.

Elan approached Evelyn. Then the man stroked Evelyn's back, trembling. "Take it easy on yourself Evelyn. Roni will be back. Maybe now Roni is hiding somewhere else. Did you forget. There's one soldier looking for Roni in the water, isn't there?"

Elan changed her mind. It was likely that Roni was still hiding somewhere else, he thought.

"Where could Elan be? We've been waiting for him for a long time. There's no way Roni's hiding anywhere else." Evelyn disapproves of Elan's words.

He and Elan have been waiting for Roni too long. Even the sun was now almost sunk at the western end. There was no way Roni would continue to hide somewhere else.

Elan looked towards the river. The calm flowing river water seemed to show no signs of life in it. He hopes Roni returns, but it seems futile if indeed Roni has been washed away by the river current.

Until finally Elan finds a glimmer of hope to find Roni.

"We're going east. We'll find Roni there!"
