CHAPTER THIRTY-EIGHT: BIRTHDAY PARTY & FOSTER CHILD?

"Have it, don't think, Edward was naughty since he was a child, I don't know what caused it. Princess Victoria and Prince Andrew have been trying to educate her but nothing has changed" Henry said. Then he went back to talking, "Better now, we go back to each other's rooms and clean ourselves up."

Roni simply nodded, then followed Henry's footsteps. They both stepped side by side. As they passed through the east corridor, they accidentally met Princess Victoria who was walking in a hurry.

Prince Henry was curious and called his brother. "Hey, Princess Victoria!"

Princess Victoria reflexively stopped her steps and looked at her sister's face. "Ah yes. What's calling me, Prince Henry?"

"I think there's something urgent, you seem to be in a hurry" replied Prince Henry.

Princess Victoria smiled and walked over. Then show something to Prince Henry. A piece of paper? "Oh, I want to give this paper to the entertainment minister. You know, in two days Queen Mother Andora will..." Suddenly Princess Victoria stopped saying and seemed to be withholding the information. "Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Later we will discuss together in the middle room of the palace, yes. I can't tell him now. See you later." Then Princess Victoria stepped back and rushed over.

"What happened to Princess Victoria? He's like he's hiding something" Roni said as she stared at Princess Victoria's increasingly distant back.

Prince Henry replied, "There may be something important. You'll know later. We'll discuss it in the palace's central room."

"Well, I wonder what Princess Victoria will discuss later" replied Roni.

"Come, we'll go to each other's rooms immediately" Henry asked. He accidentally held Roni's hand.

Roni was a little surprised and smiled slightly, letting Henry's burly hand clasp his hand. The two of them walked together towards the room. Arriving in front of Roni's room, Prince Henry only realized that he was holding the teenager's hand.

"Ahaha, I didn't realize I was holding your hand" Prince Henry said with a short laugh.

"That's why, you're on purpose, aren't you?" roni mockery.

Prince Henry rolled his eyes with a timid smile. "Maybe yes, maybe not. Who knows?" reply while teasing and release the hand gently.

Roni chuckled, "You are indeed a clever prince."

The two of them looked at each other for a while, then suddenly laughed together. As if forgetting a moment of worry, they felt at ease with each other.

Roni then opened the door to her room, but before entering, she said, "I can't wait to find out what Princess Victoria will discuss. Thank you, Prince Henry."

"Together, Roni. See you later in the palace's living room" Prince Henry replied with a smile. After that, the two entered into their respective rooms with the same curiosity.

Meanwhile, Edward, who accidentally sees Prince Henry holding Roni's hand, makes his guess even more sure if Prince Henry and Roni have a relationship that is more than just a friend.

"Truly they're getting more and more intimate. Just watch if the royal family finds out about their relationship, and it'll stir" the monologue Edward then continues his steps through the corridor.

Edward accidentally runs into his mother in the corridor. Then Princess Victoria called her son, "Edward, there's something she wants to talk to you about."

Edward walked closer to his mother and replied, "Sure, Mother. What's up?"

Princess Victoria looked at her son seriously, "Later in the evening, there is an important meeting in the central room of the palace. I want you to be able to attend, Edward."

Edward was a bit surprised, but nodded, "Sure, Mother. I'll be present."

"Well, Mother must immediately meet the minister of entertainment" replied Princess Victoria and then stepped away.

Afterwards, Edward continues his journey with thoughts now filled by the encounter and the mystery of the relationship between Prince Henry and Roni.

"Do I have to plan something so that the entire royal family knows that Prince Henry and Roni have a special relationship? Hahaha, that would be a lot of fun," Edward monologue with a meaningful smile, imagining how embarrassed Prince Henry and Roni were when the palace family learned of their relationship.

The night has arrived. The moon appears to replace the position of the sun that has been credited to illuminate the earth all day. Now the meritorious moon illuminates the darkness, though its dim light is not helpful enough.

Prince Henry came to Roni in his room to take her to dinner. "Good night, Roni."

"Night, prince," replied Roni ending with a small nod.

"Yes, as usual, I came to your room to take you to dinner. After that we have to gather in the central room of the palace to discuss something that Princess Victoria announced this afternoon," Prince Henry said immediately to the point.

It did not take long, finished Roni fully dressed, then Prince Henry immediately invited Roni to go to the dining room. It took a few hours, and dinner was finally over. Some of the palace families gathered in the central room of the palace, while other families could not attend because of their respective busyness.

Princess Victoria presided over the meeting. Then the beautiful woman began the conversation, "Thank you for coming. I have something important to share. I have news that will involve all of us."

All the members of the palace family present listened attentively, trying to guess what Princess Victoria would announce.

"According to my agreement with the minister of entertainment, two more days Queen Mother Andora will celebrate her birthday with a special feast. However, there is one big change that we need to discuss together" said Princess Victoria, looking at each member of the palace family.

Curious faces scattered in the room. Princess Victoria continued, "The Queen Mother plans to announce her future adopted daughter at the party. This is an important moment for our kingdom, and I want all of us to be prepared to face it with full support."

A tense atmosphere filled the room, as if a mysterious wind had been blowing inside the palace. Many wonder. Who is Princess Victoria's adopted son?

"Wait, Mommy. I want to ask, why does Grandmother Queen Andora want to raise a child to be her adopted child? Didn't Grandmother Queen have three biological children, including Mother herself?" edward asked, confused by his mother's words.

"Calm down, you guys don't strain, I understand that this is big news" Princess Victoria said, trying to give it a quieter atmosphere.

She continued, "The Queen Mother Andora is convinced that her chosen adopted daughter has the ability to bring progress and stability to our kingdom. Let us support his decision and give full support to the prospective adoptive children who will be announced later."

Although the atmosphere was still tense, Princess Victoria's words gradually eased the tension in the room.

"In addition, there is very encouraging news for all of us. I have discussed with the entertainment minister. To enliven the Queen Mother's birthday party, we will invite a professional violinist and experienced," said Princess Victoria cheerfully. "Biolais is coming from Alexis' City."

Princess Victoria went on to discuss with the rest of the royal family about Queen Andora's birthday party two days later. They plan to surprise Queen Andora before she enters the party room. "Hey, hey, stop!" Roni exclaimed cheerfully, "Why did you suddenly carry me?" he then wrapped his hands around Prince Henry's neck. While both of his legs were supported by both of the prince's burly hands.

Prince Henry laughed, "For us to arrive sooner to the room, of course!" He continued with definite steps towards their room while still holding tightly onto Roni's feet.

Roni who was initially surprised, finally laughed. "You're totally unexpected, prince."

The two of them continued on to the room laughing, unaware that their cheerfulness was part of the preparations for the upcoming party.
