CHAPTER NINE: HENRY THE SAVER

The south wind blew fiercely, flying the dried leaves that were falling. Morning dew makes the air around the river more fresh, but also blocks the sunlight that should illuminate the area around the river.

Near the spruce trees neatly lined up by the river, Roni looked unconscious. He had been tossed about by the river for one night, and now, he was stranded somewhere far from Eldoria and his location was not known for certain. God still seems to give Roni a chance to stay alive. If God willed, he should be gone when the waters of the river rolled up his body and took him to a faraway place.

Slowly, Roni opened her eyes wide. He moaned as he felt pain all over his limbs. While watching the surroundings, Roni was startled and immediately got up. With his legs outstretched, he sat up straight, then once again watched the unfamiliar river area for him. Previously, Roni did not recognize this place at all.

Before the confusion enveloped his mind, Roni vaguely recalled that he drowned and got carried away by the river current before finally being stranded in this place.

Roni was also thought of by Evelyn, Elan, and her mother. She knew her mother and her two best friends now must be very worried about her. As calm began to envelop the surrounding atmosphere, suddenly a fairly large tree branch fell down and almost hit Roni. Sontak Roni was surprised and immediately stood up. He briefly saw the twig and then turned to look up at the tree. Roni was again surprised, it turns out that on top of the tree there was a monkey hanging while making its distinctive sound. "Sial there is a monkey," said Roni.

The monkey is very naughty. Just look, even now he threw a sizable tree branch towards Roni. Damnit damnit! Roni quickly dodged before the twig hit his body.

"Hey, you fucking monkey!" Roni pointed at the monkey with a face of wrath. Then Roni took a tree branch under him and threw it towards the monkey. Unfortunately the monkey can avoid it and jump to another tree branch.

Once again, the monkey taunted Roni while sticking out his tongue with his very disturbing voice. Makes Roni dizzy to hear it. Then the boy picked up a big rock. No matter what, he immediately threw a stone at the monkey who had been mocking him ever since. Obnoxious indeed.

"Ah, fuck! Not gotta!" Roni was very upset because his throw did not hit the monkey's body.

The monkey just casually hung under a tree branch and took a banana from a banana tree that grew next to the mango tree where it hung. Then the monkey threw the banana peel towards Roni while sounding, uuk, aak... And it's very annoying.

Roni was furious and very fed up. He then chose to leave rather than have to deal with a primate animal that has almost the same DNA as humans.

It seems that the monkey is not satisfied. He followed Roni by hanging on a tree. Roni did not realize this because the monkey did not make a sound. The monkey hung from one branch to another while continuing to observe Roni's trail.

Roni noticed the movement on top of the tree, then she stared at the tree. Roni was surprised to find out that the monkey was standing right on the branch of a tree that was above his head. He retreated backwards. Suddenly the monkey jumped towards Roni and seemed to want to grip Roni's head. Roni's reflexes stepped backwards once more to avoid the damn monkey.

Before the monkey actually reached for Roni's head, suddenly from the side, a man kicked the monkey very hard. The monkey shouted along with his body that slammed far away and splashed into the river. Roni stroked her chest full of relief.

"Don't worry. Monkeys in this area do like to disturb humans," said the man then turned around and faced Roni.

For a moment, Roni was stunned as she looked at the face of the young man before her. When viewed from his face, it seems that the man is still two years old. His skin was white, his eyebrows thick, his blue eyes were staring intently, his nose was pointed, his lips were naturally pink, and his jaw was firm. The man was very handsome with his long blue hair hanging over his shoulders and his clothes looked luxurious. Even Roni himself was fascinated, even though he was also a man.

"Hey you're daydreaming?" The man waved his hands in front of Roni's face, making Roni flutter.

Instantly Roni stepped back and shook his head. "No-no, I'm fine. I just thought of something."

The handsome man nodded and said, "Oh well. What's yourname?"

Roni smiled awkwardly. He introduced himself. "My name is Royalty, but just call me Roni."

The young man asked again, "Name is good. All right, what's your purpose for coming to the Andoran region?"

"I mean Sir?" Roni was in disbelief as the man before her said Andora territory.

"I mean, you've entered Andora territory. What made you come here?" The man repeated his question more straightforwardly.

"Why are you quiet?" The man resuscitated Roni.

"I'm sorry, I was daydreaming." Roni replied curiously. She was ashamed of her attitude.

"It looks like you're scared when you see me" said the man, looking at Roni's facial expression.

Roni also cleared up the misunderstanding of the man. "Oh no. I'm glad to meet you, sir. Sorry, I love to daydream when I meet new people."

The man nodded, trying to understand Roni's attitude. Then, he remembered something. "alright. You haven't answered my question. How did you get to Andora?"

Roni was able to adjust to the man and replied, "I was carried away by the river while swimming and suddenly lost consciousness. When I realized, I was already in this place. I don't know how I got to the Andora region."

Hearing Roni's reply, the young man felt pity for Roni. It was only fitting that he saw the clothes Roni was wearing look half dry and there were some wounds on Roni's legs.

With sympathy, the man said, "It must have been a frightening experience. Don't worry, I'll help you get back to your house. But wait, where do you live?"

"I live in the city of Eldoria" replied Roni.

"The city of Eldoria is very far from this place. What if you come with me? I can't bear to let you go home alone. You are now setting foot in the Andoran region, the easternmost border. If you were stranded on the west end, you might still be able to return to Eldoria City on foot." The man explained at length.

Hearing the man's words, Roni was immediately shocked. How did he get carried away so far? Maybe because the river flow is very heavy, so he was stranded in a place very far from the region of Eldoria. No longer thinking about it, then Roni thought about and considered the invitation of the man to come with him.

Because Roni did not respond to his words, the man returned to talk and introduced himself. "My name is Henry Alexander Frederick. I live in Andora. How, you wanna come with me?"

When Roni was about to answer the question of the man who was known named Henry, Henry suddenly revealed while pointing backwards when he found out the herd of monkeys came. Looks like the monkeys are rampaging because they know the monkey that was kicked by Henry drowned in the river and was lifeless.

"Look, the monkey herd is on a rampage! Quickly follow me, we'll get out of this place!" Henry immediately ran, followed by Roni who was confused but came running behind him.

Henry hurried up to his horse. Yelling at Roni who was still running towards him. "Hurry, you ride behind me. Those monkeys are so fierce!"

Henry's screams made Roni even more panicked. Moreover, now, behind him, above him, and around him there is a herd of monkeys that seem to want to surround him. When Roni almost got near Henry's horse, suddenly a horde of monkeys fell before him. Sontak Roni was surprised and stepped back backwards.

Not staying silent, Henry immediately drove the herd of monkeys with his horse. Some monkeys were frightened and ran away. When the opportunity arises, Roni runs up to the horse, rushes up on the horse's back and is assisted by Henry.

"Let me help, a strong grip," Henry said, holding Roni's right hand, then pulled her up, so Roni could easily climb onto her horse's back.

"Thank you." Roni was still able to thank him in the midst of his panic.

"All right, we need to get out of this place! Go Jack!" Henry pulled the reins. Make the horse neigh and then run away from the place.
