Secrets of Lakefront House

Secrets of Lakefront House
CHAPTERS 14. TRACING TKP

On the way home from the CTF in Green Lake, the hills began to appear blurred due to the fog that came down to cover the road. Before Jilena realized it, Jilena had found herself in the entrance of her parents' house. He went inside, took a shower and changed his clothes, he wore shorts and a tank top, he was so excited to start writing the news.

He grabs the bag pulls out his phone and calls his boss and tells him what information he has so far, as he heard from detectives who found human bones, how long the bone was there, and—confirm that it was a female skeleton.

“I have managed to take some photos, I will check them and see if there is anything we can print,” he said.

Keenan asked her to give him all the information she had so far and she would print the news in tomorrow's edition newspaper . “Televation news may be reporting it tonight, but—article should provide a more in-depth story.”

“I don't see TV news crew there when I go,” report, “tapi—if they come covering then they will take a few hours to get to Lembayung town, and a few hours to get to the green.”

"RIGHT." said Keenan.

“They might not even think that this is a pretty big story, not worth the cost of shipping the crew.”, Jilena said again.

“I hope you're right, Jilena. I want our newspaper to get information about this news and focus on updating its story whenever we get the latest information.”

“If the remains turn out to belong to a celebrity or are related to someone important, I'm sure they'll catch up on the news. But it seems like it is impossible.”

"Send what you have before six" Keenan said.

"I'll do it."

...************...

Jilena wrote the story, although there is still little information she has, very much hoping she will hear from detectives about the latest news. After reviewing and editing the news materials, he still had not heard from again, so he decided to make a call.

"Detective, this is Jilena Margaretha, from The Lembayung post."

“Only one question only detective—Have you heard from the forensic team about how long the bones found this morning have been buried?”

"They barely have time to get back to their lab." replied Detective Wira.

"I know. I just hope.”

“I can only tell you this, at the scene, the principal investigator said, he—estimates the bones were buried there ranging between ten and fifteen years. They'll run carbon dating tests to try to find more accurate results, so far that's all I've got from them. I'll let you know if there's any additional information. I don't promise." said Detective Wira.

“Do you think they can give us more details, such as age, height, ethnicity? Is there anything like that?”Jilena continues to pursue details for her story.

"That's more than one question," he snapped.

“I need it for my story, Detective. If someone can help identify who the woman is, then it will help you figure out who killed her and when to bury her. That woman was already a murder victim and she deserves justice, don't you think?”

“I want to tell you more, but I have not been able to release the details now.”

"When then?"tanya Jilena continued to pursue every detail she could get.

“I can't tell you. My boss doesn't want to issue any statement until we know who he is.”

"Then he'll have an idea." Who are they trying to protect? Surely they already know something but are reluctant to share the details with me, he murmured inwardly.

“I really can't tell you. I gotta go. Good luck." replied Detective Wira hung up the phone.

Jilena tried to think hard about the sentence that detective Wira said earlier. Do I have to call him back? If I keep going after him, maybe he'll tell me something.
