CHAPTER 4. TRIBULATION NEWS

Suddenly his phone rings, a little lazy he grabs his phone "Hello." "Jilena, this is Aunt Goddess." It just so happened that his aunt called at the right time. Jilena took a breath to respond. Jilena's mouth is gaping. He wanted to say something, but not a word was said. He freezes. He loved the father very much, but their relationship was strained for the past twelve years, they were like strangers, even when he came to visit. The last time he met his papa was at his mama's funeral, and even then the papa closed himself off from him. Tears blurred her gaze, at first glance Jilena glanced at the framed photo of her parents on the table. "Jile, do you hear me?"

Dewinta Ginanjar commonly called Aunt Dewi is the younger sister of Rafael Ginanjar, his papa Jilena. She lives in the small town of Lembayung, where Jilena's parents and her older sister Sarah live, and in the town Jilena completes high school. Aunt Dewi has been married three times, her husband is now a businessman who is richer than her previous husband.

Her last husband died of a heart attack while on a business trip in Europe. She once told Jilena how much she regretted not being by her husband's side when he died. Dewi rarely accompanied her late husband every time he went to Europe for business and met clients - she had accompanied her late husband twice on business trips to Europe, and for him that was enough.

"Yes, aunt. I hear you." Jilena shook her head, trying to shake off the daze. "Sorry aunt, I don't know what to say. This is so shocking."

His father, Rafael Ginanjar, was a lawyer in Lembayung. She took her family from Jakarta to the town of Lembayung and opened a law firm when Jilena was fifteen. At that time, Jilena was very disappointed and sad because she was forced to part with her friends, no one could comfort her.

The father's decision led his family to move to the town of Lembayung in order to have a safer and better life. They will make new friends, he has promised, and they have a bigger and nicer home than ever. Aunt Dewi has lived there for several years, she often persuaded him to move his family there.

"Maybe papa is too stressed with his job, aunt." replied Jilena again.

"Yes, you might be right. Aunty knows if the relationship between the two of you is not so good these past few years, Jilena.

"Papa never cared or cared for me" Jilena pursed her lips tightly. Without realizing it, he had uttered a sentence that sounded so flat and cold, had already spoken it before thinking.
