CHAPTER 24. ARSYANENDRA'S INFIDELITY

Now that Ramira has convinced Jilena that she is the girl in the locket, Jilena wonders if perhaps Aunt Dewi knows something else and can tell more about Mariana. Remembering Aunt Goddess had already lived in the town of Lembayung for over thirty years and knew most of what was happening in that city. According to Jilena, no one knows Mariana better than Aunt Goddess.

Jilena believes that Mariana's mother Ramira's death must have something to do with Arsyanendra's wealthy family.

If he called his aunt now, he would have had enough time to talk to her before Noah came. At least he can get more information about Mariana to add to the story, especially if he can find a bright spot that is the reason why the woman was killed and who killed him. Or at least a little picture of the people who may have been involved in the murder.

Jilena grabbed her phone and dialed the number to contact Aunt Dewi. Not long after the call was connected. "Hello, baby." there was a gentle voice of a woman.

"Aunty, I have something to ask auntie."

"On what? What about the murder? it seemed like the aunt goddess knew what the girl wanted to ask her.

"Yes, that's right. Koq aunt can tell?"

"definitely. Regarding the photo in the locket, isn't it?" ask back.

"Yes aunt. Is there anything aunt wants to tell me? Maybe about something that could be a bright spot or maybe it could be a good start to find out about the murder."

"Something my aunt wants to tell you. Moga can help you solve this problem. I hope that with your story, it will attract the attention of many"

"Now, Aunt cannot say with one hundred percent certainty," Aunt Dewi began, saying,

"But I'm pretty sure that Ramira is Mr. Arsyanendra's daughter."

“I have no doubt in the slightest about that,” said Aunt Dewi continued her sentence in a confident tone. His eyes looked as if he was trying to remember something that had happened in the past, about Mariana and Arsyanendra.

Jilena was slightly surprised to hear his tantic utterance and took a quick breath. "Aunty is joking? What makes you say? Like that?" jilena asked with a trembling voice. He thought of all possibilities and seemed to not believe if Ramira was really the daughter of the Arsyanendra family.

“I knew Mariana when she was about twenty years old. I just moved to this city with Pedro, my second husband.” Aunt Goddess paused for a moment. "You remember him, don't you?”

"I almost forgot." replied Jilena briefly. How can you remember that aunt? It had been a very long time and the marriage of the two did not last long either.

“Well, that doesn't matter. I met Mariana when she was working at the family-owned bank Arsyanendra.”, Aunt Dewi explained.

"Where is Mr Arsyanendra the president?" jilena asked with a frown.

Jilena leaned closer to the phone, as if the tant was right in front of her. "And do you think they're having an affair?"

“Oh, baby, I know about that. Mariana told me everything, one day we met for lunch together, she told me that she had met Arsyanendra a few times, but she asked me to keep it a secret. They even went on holiday together outside the city”

"Wasn't Mr Arsyanendra already married at the time?"

“Yes. That's one of the causes. When his wife was pregnant. Some men can't help themselves without**** especially when their wives are in the third trimester and also the period after birth, so Arsyanendra begins to approach Mariana.

His decision to contact Aunt Goddess tonight, was very appropriate.  Hearing his tant story, he began to guess a possibility.

There was a pause in the phone line, as if Aunt Goddess was composing words. “As far as I know, Arsyanendra is the only man who has ever fucked Mariana to that point. Mariana is obsessed with the man.
