Secrets of Lakefront House
CHAPTER 25. THE ARSYANENDRA FAMILY SECRET

Hearing the words of Aunt Goddess made Jilena remember her own obsession with Young Master Noah Arsyanendra. In the past, the girl was obsessed with Noah Arsyanendra. Like being hypnotized by the charm of the handsome and charismatic face that the man possessed made him helplessly fall in his arms.

It is recognized that the charm of the men of the Arsyanendra family is extraordinary able to lure all women, even he bent his knees on Noah to make her pregnant. Jilena's stomach felt nauseous when she remembered that. Remembering those times and how arrogant the family was.

“A few months later,” Aunt Goddess continued after silence and set her breath, “Perhaps about four or five months later, I went to the bank to do some business transactions and I noticed that Arysanendra's wife, named Ratih, was there holding a baby boy. That must be Noah, that time Noah was only two or three months old back then.”

“Some tellers huddled around them, looking at the boy and giving prayers so that they would be well. But I didn't see Mariana there, so I asked one of the girls who worked as customer service there about Mariana. She said Mariana was dismissed, but she doesn't know why.”

Aunt Goddess let out a long breath. “I know something's wrong, but I'm not sure what. A few days later I saw Mariana in town, out of a store, and I saw her clearly she was pregnant, maybe four or five months. He turned around and went the other way when he saw me coming towards him. I called him, but he kept going.”

"That's weird" said Jilena, pressing her forehead with her fingers, thinking. Was the woman pregnant with Mr Arsyanendra? Ahhh sounds cliche.

“I never met and talked to him after that. I should have tried harder that time to get close to him."

"But the aunt doesn't know for sure that Mr. Arsyanendra is Ramira's father, right?" Jilena asked to be sure.

“No, not completely. But who do you think can do it again?”

"Well, Ramira could have a paternity test" Jilena said.

"It's also if he really wants to know." replied Aunt Goddess.

"What does aunt mean?"

"Well," Aunt Dewi stopped, "You know that Arsyanendra is a strong man, very influential and you're sure he doesn't want any relationship with her. He can make Ramira's life difficult in this city if he exposes her.”

"Yes, that would be very bad" replied Jilena. Then a thought struck him like a light bulb lit up. “Oh no, it also means Noah is Ramira—'s brother their half-brother. I wonder if he knows.” If Ramira demands it, then he should—share his inheritance with Ramira, it will definitely be opposed by Noah.

“There is no way Arsyanendra will tell him,” surmised Aunt Dewi, “She will not tell anyone—other."

"Do you think his wife knows?"

"Maybe." answered Aunt Dewi briefly.

"Is there something Auntie didn't tell me?" Jilena tried to urge. It sounded nothing like the Aunt Goddess giving such a short answer. There must be something, mutteredJilena in a low voice.

“Only Arsyanendra and Ratih divorced when Noah was young. At that time there were rumors circulating in this city.” with a flat tone sounded Aunt Dewi felt uncomfortable to tell a story.

“What kind of rumor?”ask Jilena curiously.

"Do you think Auntie knows about Ramira?"

In fact, Ratih was very happy after hearing about her husband who had a child with Mariana, not to mention—division of Arsyanendra's wealth. His son will no longer be the sole heir to the Arsyanendra family.

Which according to Ratih at the time, with the presence of other children in the Arsyanendra family, the responsibility will not be fully charged only to his son later. The woman knew very well what her son's life in the family was like. Noah is certainly educated to be the sole heir.

"That's what I can't tell you, baby." said the aunt goddess in a weak voice.

"However, if Ratih did, do you think he would kill Mariana to keep it a secret?"

“After so many years? Geez, there's no way Ratih could kill. Ramira was a teenager when Mariana escaped. What's the point of trying to get Ratih to kill him?”

"Then what about the new Mrs Arsyanendra maybe?" ask Jilena.

“Arlina? Now that's another story. I won't forget that female double eye. Arlina will do whatever she has to do, to protect Arsyanendra.”'s wealth

Aunt Dewi's voice sounded very upset when saying the name of the woman who was none other than Noah's stepmother.  “You know, everyone doesn't like that woman.  She's a cunning woman, a trickster.  He does not care about anything or anyone, all he has in his brain is money, property and social status all of which he can get from the Arsyanendra family.”

“In my opinion, he also must have framed Arsyanendra until marriage. After entering the family, it seemed like he was starting to try to control them. You know how Arsyanendra's family has maintained its reputation.  Reportedly Arlina always threatened to expose all the ugliness of her husband to silence him and obey all his will.” said the aunt goddess explained about stepmother Noah who hated so much.

"Arlina knew very well the weakness of the family, reputation and good name were everything. The family is willing to do anything to maintain the reputation of the Arsyanendra family."

“Then what about Noah? Did she live with her birth mother after her parents divorced?" Jilena who did not know about the Arsyanendra family increasingly wanted to pry again about the family.

“No. Perhaps the family released Noah who was the first grandson who would later become the heir to the family.  Noah lives with his father and stepmother. As far as I know, she still meets her real mother. But, Arlina used to always get in the way if Ratih wanted to meet her son”

“Did his stepmother love him or did their relationship work?” ask jilena again.

“No. Her stepmother had not taken care of Noah since childhood. She was taken care of by her nanny and the maid who worked in the house.  The woman is just busy raising her social status by participating in activities that I think are very unimportant.”

“Tante seems to hate that woman so much?” Jilena asked.

“Do you like it? I know you hate it too. Hates it so much, doesn't it?” said Aunt Goddess with a tone of annoyance. She knew very well how Jilena felt about Noah's stepmother.

“I have my own reasons why I don't like it.”
