"Trs. Arsyanendra admits nothing. He'll take his chance in court."
"Let me remind you, Mr. Arsyanendra," said the Deputy District Attorney again still trying to get the man to confess, "We have two witnesses who can prove that you were with Mariana in your lake house at the time of her death."
“That's what you keep telling me,” said Arsyanendra in a high tone, “but I want to know who the—witnesses are. All I know, this is just a bluff.”
Detectives Wira and Bambang Prayogo stared at each other.
"Wait here" said Wira. “Give us a few more minutes and we'll let you know."
Detectives and deputy district attorneys walked out. Seeing the two men heading for the door, Jilena and Jonathan ran out of the observation room before they could be seen by Bambang Prayogo. They were casually speaking in the hall when Wira and Bambang Prayogo came out of the interrogation room.
"We'll have him for a short time, he won't be able to dodge anymore." Wira said as she stopped to talk to Jonathan and Jilena, while the deputy district attorney continued walking.
“Now, Jonathan, as soon as Lady Arlina Arsyanendra is brought in, immediately take Mr. Arsyanendra and his lawyer into the observation room. I want to make sure Arsyanendra sits in the front row to see the next show. Wait for my signal. ”
Shortly thereafter, Wira sends a radio message to Jonathan to move Arsyanendra and his entourage. Jilena stepped into the observation room while Jonathan did as he had been instructed. The girl rushed to the farthest corner of the dimly lit room, trying to—make herself as inconspicuous as possible, keeping her eyes focused on the two-way glass.
"What the hell is going on?" Arsyanendra grumbled as Jonathan told them to come with him to the observation room.
"We need to use this room for a bit, sir," Jonathan said. "Then we'll ask you back. We appreciate you being willing to work with us, Mr. Arsyanendra.” said Jonathan was reluctant to tell what was really going to happen.
Once Arsyanendra and his legal team are in the observation room, Jonathan makes sure his speakers are on fire. "It's only a few minutes, please all pay attention."
Hearing the sound coming out of the speakers, they all turned around and watched as Detective Hero escorted Arlina Arsyanendra in and asked her to sit down.
"Why did you bring me here, Detective?" Arlina asked shortly after the woman sat down.
"I have some questions for you about Mariana's death."
"Do I need a lawyer, Detective?"
“No need mistress. We didn't catch you,” replied Wira. “You're here probably as a witness."
"Ah, really?" arlina Arsyanendra.
“We have reason to believe that you and your husband, just say, were together when Mariana was killed. Is that true?" Detective Wira asked directly.
"Who told you that?" arlina asked astonished and looked a little uncomfortable.
“We have witnesses. Now don't get yourself stuck, I'm just trying to get to the real facts. Tell me, is that true?”
Arlina Arsyanendra crossed her arms over her large chest and leaned against her chair, her lips tightly clenched.
“Alright, what if I tell you that your husband has corroborated that fact?"
"I've never said anything like that!" Arsyanendra yelled at the glass.
"I don't believe you," said Arlina staring intently at Detective Hero.
Jilena listened to the conversation between Arlina Arsyanendra and the detective, but she—tapan fixated on Arsyanendar and saw how he reacted.
“You have witnesses? How can—” Arlina hold back. He paused for a moment, staring at the detective, clearly thinking about what he was going to say Next. His arms relaxed and his hands floated into his lap as he leaned forward. "Yes that's right. It was an accident." Tears washed his face for a moment. "It was a terrible and terrible accident" he said, covering his face with both hands.
"Shut up, you stupid woman! You idiot! Don't say anything to them fools! " Aryanendra shouted from behind the window.
"Relax, sir," one of the lawyers advised.
"I understand." The hero stood up and moved to the side of his desk, sitting in that corner. "Can you tell me more about what happened that night."
"Mariana is arguing with my husband Arsyanendra." Arlina continued.
"About what?" ask Detective Wira to try to dig deeper.
"He won't give the money Mariana asked for." He folded his hands on the table.
"Continue."
“And then Arsyanendra grabbed his arm, my husband just wanted to get his attention, so he held tightly to his arm for Mariana to notice him, and Mariana pulled away. That's when he tripped and hit the coffee table, hitting his head.” Arlina buried her face in her hands. "There's nothing more we can do for him. It was a terrible accident. He didn't mean to hurt Mariana.”
"Liar!" shouted Arsyanendra.
Jonathan glanced at Jilena and looked at her with an understanding look.
"Mr Arsyanendra, please shut up" the lawyer reminded.
Arlina took a deep breath and sighed. "I told her we should call nine one-on-one or call someone, ask her for help, but she said it's too late, Mariana's dead."
"He's lying" Arsyanendra told Jonathan. “Can't you see that? He was the only one who had a fight with Mariana. He made it fall—not me.”
"Mr Arsyanendra, stop!" the lawyer insisted. “Detective, can we go to another room?" Jonathan ignores the lawyer, watching Arsyanendra fixate on every word out of Arlina's mouth.
“If it really was an accident, I still don't understand why you didn't call the police and report the incident that night?” Detective Wira asked the woman.
“Yeah, Detective, as I said, I want to report, but my husband said it would be better if—we just buried him. He thought no one would believe us. My husband also said no one would miss that woman.”
"I never said that! I swear!" Arsyanendra ruffled his hair with his fingers. One of the lawyers put his hand on Arsyanendra's shoulder which began to run amok hearing his wife's confession. "Listen to me. Don't say another word. You're not helping yourself. ”
“So you and your husband dug a shallow grave and dumped Mariana's body into that hole?" ask Detective Wira.
"No! His lawyer was there too. He buried it after we left.” replied Arlina.
"Then I have to talk to him to get his confirmation."
