ep 20 - Khitbah
After dinner, Joseph helped his mother clean the dirty dishes and then washed them. He did not want to see his mother who cleaned everything up alone, because Ma'am Inah her maid was returning home.
After washing the dishes, Yusuf went straight into his room to take a peci and cool to perform Isya prayers in the mosque.
After returning from the mosque Yusuf immediately helped his mother make a cake in the kitchen to be brought in the fitting of tomorrow's application.
"I don't know if the decision to marry Hafidzah is right, but I don't want to be disappointed the second time" Yusuf told his mother while putting the cake dough into the baking pan.
"If this is your decision, I will pray that you will be happy with Hafidzah" said Bu Rita, turning Joseph's body to Bu Rita and holding her.
"Thank you" Yusuf replied to Ms. Rita's embrace.
After finishing making the cake, Joseph went straight into his room and climbed on the bed to lay his body very tired. When Joseph was laying down his mother flashed in Joseph's memory to the one who had hurt him. Unknowingly, Joseph's tears flowed down his cheeks.
Yusuf knows, sometimes life does not always run smoothly depending on how smart we react. Yusuf hopes that after marriage, Hafidzah will be the best wife for him and can forget about me.

Today the proposal arrived, It never crossed Joseph's mind that today would happen. Joseph could only pray that this was the best path God had given him.
The time is 09:00 in the morning.
Joseph and his family were already in the residence of Hafidzah carrying a basket of fresh fruit and carrying a gold ring as a sign of Joseph menghitbah Hafidzah.
Hafidzah entered the living room and found Abah, Joseph and his family gathered on the sofa. Hafidzah was of course shocked to see Joseph and his family coming because Abah had not told Hafidzah before.
"Hafidzah please bring a drink for Joseph's family!" abah ruled Hafidzah.
Hafidzah smiled then went into the kitchen to get a drink.
Soon Hafidzah entered the guest room with a drink to be served to Joseph's family.
"Hafidzah now you sit down!" said Abah telling Hafidzah to sit next to Abah.
"Yes Abah," Hafidzah replied with a sweet smile.
After everything was gathered, Mr. Tono immediately expressed his intentions to the Hafidzah family.
"Assalamallaikum Wr.Wb."
"Waalaikumsalam W. W."
"By reciting the feeling of praise to the Almighty Presence of God. Who has given health to all of us so that we can gather at the house of Mr. Ahamd with healthy nature. I as the Father of Joseph wanted to propose to Hafidzah to be the wife of my son Joseph. I hope Hafidzah can accept it!" Mr. Tono began to express his intentions to the Hafidzah family.
Hafidzah heard his speech, Mr. Tono, of course, was shocked because this was what he had hoped for all this time. Hafidzah did not expect that Joseph would propose to Hafidzah, and Hafidzah thought that the do'a-do'a he offered every night was now granted.
"Assalamallaikum Wr.Wb."
"Waalaikumsalam W. W."
"Thank you to Mr. Tono and the family who took the time to come to our residence with the intention of proposing to my daughter Hafidzah. I cannot accept or reject Joseph's proposal, all decisions are in the hands of Hafidzah. How many Hafidzah did you accept Joseph?" Abah asked Hafidzah directly.
"Yes Abah, Hafidzah wants to be his wife Aa Yusuf" Reply Hafidzah.
After Joseph heard the answer from Hafidzah, Joseph's heart was relieved and Joseph hoped that He would not be disappointed again. Joseph actually hoped that he proposed it was me Raisa is not Hafidzah, but fate said otherwise with resignation Joseph had to accept this statement freely and then accept Hafidzah and take good care of it.
"So when's the bad time what's the wedding, Hafidzah?" asked Mr. Tono to Hafidzah while sipping water.
"So much Aa Yusuf, Om!" hafidzah.
"I want the wedding to take place the day after tomorrow! Let me prepare all her needs," said Yusuf wanted to accelerate her wedding.
Hafidzah who heard Joseph's statement was of course very happy. It feels like it's flying into the clouds. He did not expect that Joseph would propose to Hafidzah, because Hafidzah knew that Joseph never knew the contents of Hafidzah's heart.
It never occurred to me that I would be in such a situation, and never know God's plan with such wickedness.
After his proposal was over, Yusuf and his family came home because there was a lot to prepare for his wedding.
After Joseph's family came home. Hafidzah went straight into the room and locked his bedroom. Inside the room Hafidzah immediately rolled around on the bed with his own smile. He felt that today was a very historic day for him.
