ep 23 - Longing

Never once in my mind would I be in a situation like this. Not yet my heart was healed by what Satria did to me in addition to my pain of hearing Joseph the idol of marrying someone else.

I sat on the edge of the bed looking at the cell phone in my hand, I opened the contact and looked for Joseph's name. I opened the mailbox and typed the word "Hay" and it felt like I wanted to send it to Joseph, but I was powerless because Joseph already belonged to someone else.

" O God! why is all this happening to me.." My inner scream.

Shortly after the sound of my phone vibrating sign of a call coming in, I expected the message from Joseph.

Delia: "Ca you're okay, right?"

Raisa: "Del, I'm fine,"

Delia: "Thankful then..."

Raisa : "Del Yusuf married someone else" sobbing.

Delia: "A...what?"

Raisa : "..."

After I ended the phone call from Delia I immediately rushed to the bathroom to take ablution and read the Qur'an.

After reading the Qur'an I went straight back to bed to break my body.

"Yusuf I miss you so much." I muttered with tears.

The residence of Joseph.

The time is 02:00 in the morning. As usual Hafidzah opened his eyes and rushed to perform Tahazud Prayer because it had been accustomed since childhood. When Hafidzah rose from his sleep, Hafidzah saw Joseph in deep sleep, Hafidzah smiled to see Joseph sleeping.

Soon after, Hafidzah began to speak.

Shortly thereafter Joseph's phone vibrated a sign of an incoming call. Joseph saw his cell phone and it turned out to be my phone. Joseph did not heed my call, only continued to eat.

"Lift donk!" hafidzah said to Joseph.

"..." - ".Joseph said nothing.

For too long Joseph did not pick up his phone call, and the voice of the phone died. Soon the phone was shaking again and Joseph saw the call was still from me.

"Call from who, A?" ask Hafidzah.

"Da. da. of, Caca..." Joseph tried to be honest with Hafidzah, because Joseph did not want any more lies in his household.

"Udah lift it! who knows it's important" said Hafidzah to let Joseph pick up the phone from me.

Joseph got up from the dinner table and went outside to pick up the phone from me.

Raisa : "Assalamallaikum,"

Joseph: "Waalaikunsalam, what's wrong?"

Raisa: "Joseph, what are you?"

Joseph: "Just finished eating with my wife,"

When I heard Joseph say that he had just finished eating with his wife, my heart screamed pain without blood and wept without tears.

Raisa: "Joseph do you still love me?"

Joseph: "Why do you always ask that question? whether I love you or not, I can't change anything between us, I'm married to someone else. Had you not accepted the man's proposal yesterday, you would have been my wife, not Hafidzah. But what power, destiny has said otherwise." retorted Joseph.

In the middle Joseph was talking to me in the phone Hafidzah eavesdropped on Joseph's conversation with me from a distance. Hafidzah saw and heard my conversation with Joseph.

Joseph: "Ja. ja. don't cry! I can't bear to see the cry tempter.

Raisa: "Is there no more room in your heart?"

Joseph : "..."

Raisa: "Do you love your wife?"

Joseph: "The truth that I still love is you,"

Hafidzah heard the words "The truth I still love is you" his heart was so broken that it was broken. Hafidzah covered his mouth and the spontaneous matanta water flowed profusely on his cheeks.
