Remembering the Past

After making sure Nara and also the Emperor had already left the room, Rendra sighed many times. His energy seemed to be drained away feeling sad and happy into one.

Rendra closed his eyes and said, "Lord if I may ask, never heal me, so that I may always be near and see my son, the Emperor." He then opened his eyes and lay down.

Rendra stared at the ceiling of the room in silence, her eyes reluctantly closed until she finally remembered the past while still with Anika.

"Ah hand!" Rendra groaned in pain while holding his left hand, he fell down from the stairs that he poked.

Anika who was cooking at that time immediately ran towards the source of the sound, "Honey! What's going on?!" Anika screamed in panic when she saw Rendra who had fallen down.

"The ladder I was walking on turned out to be wobbly and I finally fell from it." Obviously Rendra while moaning in pain.

Apparently Rendra fell in the back garden of the house close to the kitchen, he explained that he was about to pluck fruit mangoes that bear fruit far above, he explained, due to difficulty climbing he finally used the stairs to help him take the mango fruit.

"Gosh, you should have asked Mr. Nanang just to pluck it, why can you be so careless!" Anika did not think that Rendra was desperate, but she knew for herself that her husband could not climb a tree at all.

"Had angry? Now can you help me?" Rendra.

Anika patted her head, "Sorry I panicked too much, you can stand right? Let me help you, let's go straight to the hospital." Anika said then she helped Rendra stand up carefully and swept her towards the car to get to the hospital immediately.

"Sir Nanang, please take care of the kitchen." Shouted Anika to Mr. Nanang who was watering plants in front of the house.

"Sir why mom?" Asked Mr. Nanang no less panicked when he saw Rendra in pain.

"Fall down the stairs, I'm going to the hospital now. You please take care of the kitchen just as you keep the house." Answer Anika.

"Good ma'am, be careful."

Anika immediately drove the car at high speed to get to the hospital and Rendra immediately got treatment.

About an hour drive, both arrived at the hospital and Rendra immediately got medical treatment. After getting treatment, the doctor explained that Rendra's left hand suffered a fracture so it must be digips in the future. Because there were no other injuries, so Rendra did not need to be treated and was allowed to go home at that time.

Anika then looked at Rendra with a sharp gaze, Rendra who saw that hurriedly averted her eyes.

"Don't look at me like that, you know? You're so scary if it's like that." Rendra said without looking towards Anika.

"Look at your carelessness, you broke a bone, who will take care of you?"

"Oh my God, my wife is so mean, instead of feeling sorry she scolded me." Rendra said, he put on a sad face while staring at the ceiling of the room as if talking to God, although Anika knew, Rendra was only pretending to be sad.

"Why pity a careless person like yourself? Take care of yourself!"

"Why then would you be my wife if you didn't take care of me?"

"I have a lot more important work." After saying so Anika walked out of the room and left Rendra.

"Hey, what do you mean? Am I not important to you?" Rendra came out of the room following Anika from behind.

"No!" Anika answered briefly.

Although the left hand plugged in a cast, it did not make Rendra weak, she caught up with Anika and walked beside her, "Good God why do you have the heart, I'm sick." Rendra.

Anika stopped her steps then looked at Rendra's left hand in the cast, "I feel that pain is only your left hand, the rest of your limbs are all still healthy and functioning properly." He said then continued his path again.

"Geez that's not what I mean, hey wait for me! God, I could've married a woman like her." Rendra grumbled along the hospital corridor.

Rendra knew, although Anika said that actually Anika was a caring and gentle person, Anika could not see Rendra was hurt at all. Rendra realizes this is his fault, so Anika is angry and talks nonsense not to take care of it, even though Rendra clearly knows, Anika will certainly take care of it well when at home later.

"It was so happy for our little family, Ika. If time could play out, I'd like to go back to the time we were together and I wouldn't let our families be as broken as they are today." Rendra said after remembering the events of his marriage to Anika, he occasionally laughed when he remembered the funny events when he was with Anika when he was young. That's all Rendra has now, memories of the past that Rendra will never forget.
