Bitter Reality

"Is this beautiful?" Adel checked her appearance in front of the mirror of her bedroom dresser, to make sure there was nothing lacking.

"Perfect!" He said on the reflection of his reflection in the mirror.

Adel walked down the stairs with a very happy feeling, the first dinner with the family. Yeah, they're actually living a real family life, no feuds whatsoever, at least in the last three days.

"The beauty of my mother's son..." Rani who was already standing ready under the stairs noticed Adel with a smile that boasted on her lips.

The middle-aged woman with perfect beauty attached to her face also increasingly attracted Adel's attention.

"Mama is more beautiful." Say the sweet girl while reaching for Rani's hand.

"Papa's been waiting since." Rani took the princess warmly just wayangnya to the garden behind the house.

Dinner that has been prepared in such a way, with the right arrangement adds to the impression of elegance even if only in a simple place.

The main menu is Rani's favorite steak that Satya has prepared by inviting a fairly reliable chef in the capital specifically for Rani. Yes, Rani is the main figure tonight. Not only that, Satya also prepared Adel's favorite dessert. Satya actually prepared everything for two very meaningful people in her life.

"How do you like it?" Satya made sure the result of her hard work managed to make a good impression.

"As always, never change, you can always make something surprising, Satya." Rani smiled broadly to show her line.

Satya pulls Rani's hand, and kisses her so gently, "I love you, baby." The time that passes quickly until the age that is no longer young is not able to eliminate Satya's feelings for Rani since they lived together.

Everything is still the same as before, Satya who loves Rani so much and vice versa.

"I love you too, baby." Reply Rani is no less friendly.

"Ehem, you can make out but don't forget I'm here too." Adel chimed in on their conversation which caused laughter from Rani.

"Let's eat." Rani opens their event by eating dishes that are already available on the table.

"Darling, have you decided where to go after graduation?" Rani asked with a quick glance towards Adel who was sitting beside her right.

Adel nodded lightly and replied, "Adel does not want to dizzy, like going to college at Gunabangsa University aja deh."

"Aren't you going abroad?"

"That's no big deal, papa can set." Satya chimed in.

Adel shook his head quickly, "No way, Adel wants to go to college here, Adel does not want to go far with mom."

Adel's words created a sudden silence.

Rani gestures to Satya to say something, "We spend the meal first." Satya answered the signal that Rani had given him.

"What's wrong? Why is everything so serious?" Adel looked at his parents in turn.

"Ma, I answered dong! Is there something you're hiding from Adel?!"

"Mom has only three months left at home." Rani answered suddenly.

"I mean?" Adel's voice was already shaking, he was afraid of getting a bitter reality.

Rani grabs Adel's hand and rubs it gently, "Honey, mama must return to finish the sentence of mama who was delayed due to illness, and you're only given three more months before you get back to the cell." Rani explained calmly.

Adel covered his mouth with his other hand, his mouth agape in disbelief at what he heard.

"Why so fast?! Adel didn't want to lose his mother!"

"Sorry baby, but mom has to." Rani begins to tear up, not sad because she has to go back to the cell, but sad because she has to part with her daughter again for a very long time.

Rani pulls Adel into her arms, rubbing her back so gently, "Adel should not be sad, Adel can still look at mama, yes son yes."

Adel shook his head in Rani's arms, "No way! Adel does not want to split with mama, Adel wants to continue with mama."

Satya clenched her hands hard, the middle-aged man could do nothing. He has been trying to get Rani released, but the law must go on.

The previously happy dinner atmosphere, now turned into a roar that imprinted on the hearts of the three.
