Apologizing

"Hi, how are you?" Anika developed her warm smile to Rendra.

"That's better, thank you." Rendra answered with a stammering voice.

"Fruit." Anika lifted the fruit in her hand and placed it on the table.

"Ah you don't have to bother Ika."

"It's okay just fruit doesn't bother." Again Anika smiled warmly which made Rendra's heart tremble a little.

The emperor who noticed the change in look on Rendra's face immediately cleared his throat hard enough to break the mood.

"Ehem! Did the doctor check on Papa this afternoon?" Ask Emperor.

"Not yet, said the nurse who had previously come, the doctor will come in an hour." Answer Rendra.

"Rendra, I'm sorry for what happened to you, and as the Emperor's parents I'm truly sorry for what happened." Anika slightly bowed her body as a sign of regret.

Rendra and the Emperor widened his eyes in shock at what Anika was doing.

"Well, what are you doing? Have you forgotten that the Emperor is also my son, our son. Why are you talking like that?!" Rendra slightly emphasized his words.

"Please, stop don't bend in front of me." Rendra.

"Why are you bowing like that? Mom shouldn't have done that." Emperor Protests.

Anika turned towards the Emperor and looked at him fixedly, "Mama is sure you haven't apologized to your father, for that mama should do this."

The Emperor chuckled softly, "But ma, the Emperor is not running away from responsibility, is that not enough?"

"Emperor! Since when did you teach you to be like that?!"

"It is Ika, there is no need to discuss what the Emperor said is true." Rendra tried to mediate.

But Anika did not comment on Rendra's words, "Emperor, you want to apologize now!" He spoke to the Emperor with great emphasis.

"What the hell ma!" The Emperor knew he was going to lose and continued to refuse orders from Anika.

Rendra was getting more and more unwell because she was the reason the mother and child had gotten into a fight.

"Mom ask once more, or mama will be angry. Apologize to your papa now!"

Not wanting to argue further, with a lazy face finally the Emperor obeyed Anika's orders, "Sorry." His words were short without looking at Rendra in the slightest.

Even though Rendra knew the Emperor said his apology in a forced condition, he was still happy to hear it, Rendra smiled a thin smile when he saw the prestige of his only son.

"Yes son, it's okay." Answer Rendra.

Anika also smiled with relief to see her son willing to obey her words, "Well that's better. You should be able to learn to mature, baby."

Moments later a doctor with a male nurse came to Rendra's room.

"Good day." Greet the doctor kindly.

"Dock's a little bit." Answer them simultaneously.

"I checked the condition of his father first." Said the doctor who then did his job carefully.

Finished checking, the doctor then questioned some complaints that might be experienced by Rendra.

"From the results of the examination, the patient's condition has begun to improve. Maybe three or four days are home." The doctor explained clearly.

"The lab's results are also out, can be taken to my room." Continue the doctor.

"Is the lab result good, Doc?" Ask Anika.

The doctor nodded slowly, "Everything is good. There's nothing to worry about. It's just that for a broken leg it takes a long time to function properly as ever."

Anika nodded in understanding with the doctor's explanation, "Okay doc, we understand."

"I'm sorry then." Pamit doctor.

"Thank you doc." Anika and Rendra.

Anika sighed in relief, "Thank God Rendra, everything is good except your right foot."

"Ah yes Ika, because the Emperor did not speed up that time so everything is still safe." Answer Rendra.

Anika nodded slowly then said to the Emperor, "Son, please bring the lab results in the doctor's room huh."

The emperor did not reply, he went straight to the doctor's room.

"Thank you for coming to see me." Rendra said after confirming the departure of the Emperor.

Anika smiled then replied, "It's nothing Rendra, even if you're not the victim of the Emperor's accident, I'll definitely see him."

Rendra held her chest after hearing Anika's answer, somehow her heart felt pain to hear the woman she still loved saying so, Rendra thought Anika wanted to see him because Anika was worried about him, it turned out her guess was wrong.

"Eh why? Does your chest hurt?" Anika asked because she saw Rendra holding her chest.

With a smile Rendra was forced to answer, "Ah yes a little."

"Do I need to call a doctor?"

"Don't! It's not necessary, now it's okay." Answer Rendra.

"It is not the doctor or the medicine that can cure me Ika, but you are the most precious antidote for my life. I can't even touch the end of your hair, even if I know you're in front of me." Rendra said inwardly. His feeling is so sad.
