Requesting Restu Part 2

The Emperor shook his hand, he kept Anika's statement, "I never said I would break my promise let alone leave my mother!" The young man paused for a moment to set his voice then resumed, "I just ask mama to bless my relationship with Adel!" Speak in a quiet but stressed voice.

"Aren't you breaking your promise? Now you see mama!" Anika pointed to herself then continued, "Did mama look happy after hearing all of your words, Emperor?!"

"Do you think that you're asking for such a thing that your mom will be okay? Your body may still be here, but your heart is far away from your mother!" Imbuh middle-aged woman, now began to tear.

The emperor shook his head slowly, the young man did not accept Anika's accusation, "Mama doesn't know what I mean, mama misunderstood!"

"Mama knows much better than you, you want, she blesses your relationship and takes the girl for granted, right?!"

"What's wrong ma? What makes it so hard for you to accept Adel? Isn't what mom hates her parents, why should Adel be brought to your problems?"

"You don't understand the Emperor yet, that good relationship not only unites two hearts, it unites two families, and you will never be ready to have to bond with their families, remember that's fine!"

The Emperor continued to deny Anika's words without giving in, "If mama asks to be understood, then what about the Emperor's feelings? Did the Emperor once again have to sacrifice for the selfishness of his mother? When will the Emperor be happy, Ma? When did the Emperor have Kai's own path?" This time the Emperor's voice had already begun to calm down.

"Either what the girl has done until it makes you able to fight the words of mama! Look, you're young and there's a lot of girls out there who are more deserving of you, if you want, you'll find one for you." Said Anika, the middle-aged woman was getting frustrated.

The Emperor clenched his hands hard before replying, "Only with Adel can I be happy ma, our feelings are connected. Only Adel can understand how I feel, even from my mom." Somehow the Emperor felt very hurt to hear Anika who asked him to find another girl.

"But the Emperor chose to love and have Adel." Strictly the young man.

Anika was silent for a moment to hear a stern answer from her son, the woman then wiped her tears and said, "Well if that's your answer."

Anika took a deep breath before continuing, "As you said before, do your own chosen path, and don't mind your mother's feelings. But remember, even to death your mother will not bless your relationship!"

"Mama!"

"You may hate your mother, but she will stand still in her position." After saying so, Anika went to her room feeling devastated, she did not expect the day that she was at odds with the Emperor to finally arrive as well.

After Anika was lost from sight, the Emperor's body suddenly felt limp, the young man staggered towards the nearby wall, he beat the wall violently to the point of injuring his fist, even his blood stains to the wall.

The emperor sat curled up against the wall he had hit earlier, the young man closed his eyes with an injured hand, moments later his shoulders seemed to tremble and there were sobs.

No matter the chaotic conditions, with wet clothes and injured hands, let alone heavy rain never subsided that night, The Emperor chose to return to Rendra's house to check on Adel, who was left unconscious.

It's ironic, who would have thought a family that looks so warm turns out to have nightmares in it.
