Space And Time
Memories of the Past

The day has shown at one in the morning, some of the house lights have been turned off. But the Emperor was still reluctant to close his eyes, the young man was still lying on the sofa while playing a mobile phone in his hand.

"His child, it may not contact me at all." The Emperor grumbled with his phone.

"Is it possible that he went to sleep right after coming home from here?" Ask yourself.

The Emperor wriggled then chose a position to sleep comfortably before he finally heard the sound of the door opening, the Emperor turned to the door and found Nara coming out of his room.

"Well, how do you wake up?" The Emperor asked as he moved from his sleep.

Nara rubbed her still sleepy eyes before replying, "Yes I'm thirsty, take a drink to the kitchen."

"Gosh why don't you just call me, you don't have to wake up like that Nara. Come back, let me get you a drink." Said the Emperor while standing from his seat.

Nara smiled at the Emperor who was so worried about her, "It's okay Kai, just grab a drink I can do it myself." After saying this, Nara went to the kitchen to get some drinking water and the Emperor sat back in his place.

Nara returned with a glass of water in her hand, the girl sat down next to the Emperor who was waiting for her and asked, "Why haven't you slept Kai?"

"I'm not sleepy." The young man replied with a faint smile.

"Oh yeah I forgot, you got insomnia." Adel said, only with a nod of the head by the Emperor.

A few moments later there was a thunderous roar of lightning that was very loud because the rain had not subsided. Nara screamed in surprise until she dropped the glass in her hand on the floor until it broke.

Nara covered her ears and shouted, "Please!!!"

The emperor was surprised that Nara's screams were trying to calm the panic-stricken girl.

"Nara calm down, it's okay don't be afraid." Said the Emperor as he grabbed Nara into his arms.

"Please, I'm afraid a truck hit our car, Kai." Nara's body trembled violently, she recalled the accident that befell her and her parents.

"Calm down, I'm here. Everything is fine Nara. There's nothing to worry about anymore." The emperor said softly without letting go of his embrace.

The thunderous roar was still heard several times and at the same time Nara was also trying to cover her two ears. The emperor tightened his embrace so that the girl could calm down.

The emperor twisted his brain so that Nara could move on from that fear, "Nara do you remember, we used to rain on the bike after college?"

The Emperor's question calmed Nara down a bit, and the young man continued, "We both had a fever tonight, but we always repeat the next day. Until mom confiscated my motorbike keys so we wouldn't rain anymore."

This second talk of the Emperor managed to get Nara to remove her hand from her ear, the girl had already dared to open her eyes and looked at the Emperor deeply.

Feeling successful in averting Nara's fear, the young man smiled broadly and resumed his story.

"You remember, right? You'd rather go on a motorcycle than a car even if the weather is bad."

"Kai..." Call Nara in a soft voice.

"I want Nara to come back as she used to be fearless, the brave Nara and the never-ending Nara." Continue Emperor.

Nara just silently listened to the Emperor's story without saying any further, the girl felt at ease as the Emperor told her their past.

The Emperor slightly loosened his arms to see Nara's face, and the girl looked at the young man who was holding her, "Nara will be fine. If you're happy, I'm sure Auntie and Om Anggara will also be happy there seeing the only daughter so strongly living life."

"Is that really Kai?" Nara asked expectantly.

The emperor pretended to put on an annoyed face at Nara's question then said, "Of course! Don't you trust me?!"

Nara who felt guilty immediately denied, "Ah that's not what I mean, I just..."

The emperor smiled gently then said, "Have it, I was just kidding."
