Space And Time

Space And Time
Slowly Scattered

"Mama?!!" The surprised Emperor immediately changed his sleeping position to half-sitting with support on one of his elbows.

The Emperor was shocked when he opened his eyes, which he saw first was Anika who had been standing on the side of the bed near the nightstand while holding a small picture frame in her hand.

With a typical hoarse voice waking up, the Emperor asked, "Why are you doing it early in the morning in Kai's room?"

"Is this the Adel you've ever met?!!" Anika asked quickly while pointing at the photo in her hand.

The photo is a photo that the Emperor took when he and Adel met in the city park, the photo shows both of them standing on the edge of the lake with a very happy face. Adel is still wearing a complete school uniform, while the Emperor as usual with a black t-shirt style combined with blue and white checkered shirts and black jeans.

"Oh that photo..." The Emperor replied casually as he got out of bed and was about to take a picture of Anika. But Anika did not allow that so the Emperor's hand just hung in the air.

"Mama's answer, this is Adel who has met with us or not?!!"

"Yes ma, it's Adel that we helped time in the restaurant, and now it's Kai ma's girlfriend, sorry the Emperor hasn't had time to tell mama." The Emperor was still acting relaxed he had not realized that at this moment Anika was showing an unusual attitude.

Anika's shoulders were up and down, her breathing was already irregular with a voice that was quite calm she asked, "Mama's question answer, is this really Nadella the daughter of Satya and Rani's son?"

How did Anika know? Yes, in the photo the Emperor accidentally wrote Adel's full name.

"Do you know?" This time the Emperor could already feel the cold between them.

Anika immediately fell limp after hearing the Emperor's answer that indirectly agreed to her question. His body even shook violently.

The emperor immediately immediately helped Anika, "Ma, mama why? Mama's sick?!" His tone sounded so worried.

When the Emperor was about to help Anika to be moved to the bed, Anika refused him quickly.

"Mom's going to go to my room." Said Anika sounded indifferent, returning the picture frame carelessly to the chest of the Emperor.

The emperor even caught his picture frame because he almost fell. The Emperor looked at Anika who was walking away outside his room with a stagger.

"What's wrong with mom? Why is mom so weird?" The Emperor muttered softly.

Anika chooses to calm herself down in her private room, despite having to swallow the bitter fact that her son is in a relationship with someone's daughter who once destroyed her household in the past. It was not that Anika had not been able to accept the incident despite the years, but the scratches on the hearts of none of the people could cure her easily.

"I'm sorry, son, this time you're selfish."

Anika turned her head when she heard the knocking of the door, followed by the sound of the Emperor calling her.

"Mama... Mama okay right? The emperor came in?" The young man exclaimed from behind the door while playing the doorknob.

Anika set her breath before moving and opened the door for the Emperor, "What's up, son?" Anika asked with a faint smile.

"Mama really why? Kai's worried about mom."

Anika rubbed the Emperor's arm gently, "It's okay Kai, mama is okay. You don't have to worry."

The Emperor lowered his head in order to see Anika up close, "Right? Kai doesn't like it if there's something you're hiding from Kai."

"Have you had breakfast?" Anika switched the conversation.

The emperor rubbed his stomach, with a hungry expression the young man replied, "You have breakfast, you don't want to eat either."

"Oh so you call mama just want to make breakfast?"

"Yes... Uh no, how could Kai be."

"Well, tomorrow, you don't want to make breakfast again."

The Emperor hugged Anika tightly, "No dong ma, the Emperor came here because he was worried about mama, if mama wants to start tomorrow mama don't have to cook, let Kai aja cook."

Anika rubbed the Emperor's back tightly, as if unwilling to lose the warm embrace her son had been giving her all along.

"Then let's go downstairs, mama will prepare a good breakfast for you." Take Anika, the two then headed to the ground floor by walking in tandem.

This is not the right time to talk about Adel to the Emperor, for that Anika chose to stay silent first while looking for the best way to tell the Emperor that no one should be hurt.
