The whirling rain and the thunderous roar accompanied the little footsteps of a girl.

He walked in a way to sneak so that no one would know of his arrival. The girl was seen checking the surroundings before entering her room.

"Where have you been?" The girl was surprised when she suddenly got a question from someone who had already been in her room, because she thought there was no one else in the room.

With a stammered voice the girl tried to answer, "A-I, a-I just met with my t-friends."

"Jam just got home?" Asked the man back who was still sitting on the chair while crossing his legs and hands. Her cold voice sounded so scary to Adel.

"I'm sorry it rained so I came home late." Adel gripped his own fingers, I don't know what will happen next he has resigned.

Satya got up from her seat and approached Adel who was still standing at the door. His right hand gripped Adel's cheek very hard which made the girl grimace in pain.

"At least if it's useless, don't make me angry!" As Satya spoke her voice grew higher.

"S-it hurts Pa." Adel complained while holding Satya's hand to release the grip on her cheek.

Instead of letting go of her hand, Satya put her ear closer to Adel's face, "Try saying once again, I didn't hear it."

"Sick Pa, please let go." Adel said in a stammering voice.

Just as Satya was about to say something, suddenly there was a loud scream from the other room, it makes Satya immediately release his hand from Adel's face and run small towards the source of the sound. After regaining his composure, Adel also followed Satya from behind.

Satya and Adel enter a room that is now in a mess, seen blankets and pillows that have been scattered on the floor. There was also a middle-aged woman who was screaming loudly on the bed with both hands covering her ears.

Satya who saw it immediately approached the middle-aged woman then said, "Rani calm down, I'm here."

"Rain, lightning." Rani said as she pointed towards the window, the look on her face showed great fear, and her eyes also turned red.

"It's okay, just calm down I'm here." Satya tries to calm Rani down by hugging her.

Rani is diagnosed with a mental disorder that makes her emotions uncontrollable at certain times, like now, she becomes hysterical when she hears the sound of rain and lightning. And worse, Rani will also be frightened when she sees her own daughter, Adel.

Adel stepped forward wanting to approach Rani as well, but Satya gave her a sharp look that made the girl undo her intentions. But unfortunately, Rani had already seen Adel who made her scream again hysterically.

"Go! Get out of here!" Shouted Rani, his hand had grabbed the pillow beside him and threw it to hit the girl's head.

Adel could only cry, he caught the pillow, "Mama..." Lirih.

"Go from here!" Shouted Rani once more, while Satya tried to calm his wife.

Adel leaned his body against the outer wall of the room where Rani and Satya were, "Well when is God?" Wailing, Adel was so tired of this situation. He closed his eyes as if contemplating something for a while.

"I have to get out of here." Adel said, she wiped away her tears.

Adel glanced at Rani's room and said, "Sorry Ma, Adel has to do this because Adel loves Mama." Said the girl and then walked out of the house. Adel leaves without the knowledge of the person in the house.

Adel continued to walk down the street without caring about his body that had been soaked by the rain. The girl checked around to look for public transport.

"Taxi" Adel immediately stopped the taxi that drove in front of him, after the taxi stopped Adel immediately entered it.

"Where's mbak?" Ask the taxi driver.

"Just go ahead sir." Adel replied, his body was already shivering with cold.

Along the way Adel was silent, his eyes were unceasingly staring at the car door window.

"Is this the best?"

"Yes, this must be the best for everyone, I have to do it for Mama." Adel argued with his own mind.

Adel saw a building that felt was the right place to do something, then he stopped the taxi driver, "Stop here sir!"

"Thank you sir." Adel said after paying and got out of the taxi.

Adel was silent for a moment on top of the tall building, his head looked up to see the top of the building as if he was calculating something.

"I'm sorry God, I don't want to do this, but I have to." He said to himself and went into the building and went straight to the roofop.

When it was on the highest roof, Adel slowly walked towards the edge of the rooftop, the rain that had subsided did not stop his intention.

"Ma, pa, Adel love you guys. Forgive Adel who can only be a burden, and this is all Adel can do to help you."

Adel then closed his eyes, "Goodbye Mama, goodbye Papa, and goodbye to the world." Adel said, the girl offered her final smile before committing her intention.

Until in the end, his intention was thwarted by a young man who was not foreign to him. The young man who always fought with him when he met, but now this night, Adel got his first friend who will become his story companion.
