Suddenly Papa
Unloading

After work, Marry prepares to go home. Before leaving the Mars family residence, Bob, assistant to Mrs Ruth, gives an envelope for Marry's work.

Marry came out of that big, big house.

"Mary." Call someone.

Marry looked. "Oh, hi, Will, I thought you were home?" Marry asked with a smile.

William smiled in response.

"Would you like to come home with me?" William offered it to Marry.

"By pleasure." Marry said with a smile.

William rushes to open the car door for Marry.

And Marry paused near William as he was about to get into the car.

"Hmmm it looks like I smell a woman's perfume.. Is anyone after doing their hot activities?" Marry asked while grinning at William while seemingly smelling the man's body.

William blushed and just shook his head.

"Come on, if it's true I don't have a problem either. Who's the lucky girl to have your love, Will?" Search Marry.

"Come on, let's just go home. It's getting late!" Invite William to try to divert the conversation.

Marry chuckled and got into the car, William closed the door and rushed to the steering wheel.

From a window, a pair of eyes, stared at and observed the familiarity that had occurred between William and Marry with a jealous look. Yes, Emily.

"So tell me, which woman managed to get your love, sister?" Marry asked William.

William just chuckled at Marry's question.

"You're just like Nana, when it comes to women who are close to me." William Sahut.

Marry was silent as if thinking.

"Is he a celebrity, or a relative of Mr Mars?" Cecar Marry looked at William.

William just shook his head with a smile.

"Or.... Don't don't..." Marry fell silent and brought her body closer to William while glaring.

"Don't tell me you're with Emily?!" Marry said slowly.

William turned his head towards Marry, and looked at him with a serious face.

Marry immediately moved away and her eyes widened and her mouth gaping, quickly she covered her mouth with her hands, still staring at William.

"Yes, I was with Emily, and it was over with her." William replied, and suddenly Marry was surprised.

Now, Marry is trying to regulate his emotions after the shock of William's confession.

"Are you okay?" William asked who was beginning to worry about Mary.

"Yes, I'm fine, Will. I just didn't think you were with Emily. Did Nana know?"

Marry looked at William, and was ready to hear the love story of William and Emily.

"I've been in love with her since I first met on campus. We're one college campus and he just thought of me as a friend all that time. During college I could only harbor my feelings for her." William took a breath for a moment, as if beginning to recall that time.

Marry still heard seriously.

"Then after he became a director at the hospital, and I worked there. Then I took a pediatric specialist, and he was more of a researcher. We met for just a job. Until he made a special hospital for children, for cancer and other diseases that require special care, and provide treatment only for children who are not able to. From there, my love began to grow again. I became one of the doctors who worked there. And he often visits the child's special hospital, and interacts directly with patients there. And it really, made me fall more and more in love with her." William was silent for a moment taking a pause.

"You know, I really like children, and I see Emily who is also close to children, with genuine concern. I can no longer hold back my feelings. Until a few months ago, while we were on a business trip, I ventured to approach him. And express your feelings to her. Then unexpectedly, it turned out that she had been harboring the same feelings for me." William closed his story by looking at Mary with a smile.

"You guys are so lucky. I'm so happy for you guys. And I'm ready to help you anytime. Emily is not like most rich girls. Who use family wealth for fun. He's different. Emily is different from her brother. Emily has leveraged her family's wealth for social activities, even setting up a research center for rare diseases to help find a cure. Really Will, I'm so happy and happy for you guys." Marry patted William on the shoulder.

"Thank you, Marry. Then what about you?"

Marry just shrugged his shoulders.

"I've always wanted to hear happy news from you. All this time, you've never been serious about being with someone. Or do you not want to meet the man who has impregnated you? At least introduce her to Alice." William.

Marry remained silent. He just stared at the street through the windshield. Clutching tightly to the seat belt until his knuckle book his hand looked gray from the strain.

William glanced at Mary who was silent. William continues to focus on driving.

She recalls the time Sophie ran banging on her house in the middle of the night, because Marry complained of stomach pain and bleeding. Nana and William, who live next door, rush to Marry and Sophie's house. How surprised William and Nana were, when they found out, Mary was about to give birth. The baby's head was already in sight, and William helped Marry deliver at the time with Nana and Sophie. At that time, William happened to have just completed his son's specialist, but, helping people give birth just the first time.

It was his first experience, which he will always remember and be unforgettable.

Arriving, William stopped his car on the side of the road and looked towards Marry.

"Marry, what happened to you? Why did you keep everything by yourself all this time?" Ask William.

Mary who was silent, suddenly sobbed. William took off Marry's seat belt and hugged the woman who was considered his sister.

Marry spilled out everything she had felt all along. His pain, disappointment, and anger. All the pent-up feelings he had released sobbing in William's arms.

"Crying, Marry. Release everything. You deserve to be happy too." William said as he stroked Marry's back.

William realized, Marry had been having a bad thing all along. That's why he doesn't want to open himself up in a more serious relationship. Maybe because of the trauma in the previous couple, and maybe Alice is the result of it.

"Who's got you pregnant, Marry?" William asked in a soft tone of voice.

"Did your lover not want to take responsibility and leave you?" William continues.

Marry loosened his embrace, and looked towards William.

"I left her, because I was pregnant. I gave up my scholarship because I wanted to take care of my daughter. I threw away and buried all my dreams inside because of him. If all hadn't happened, right now, I would have become a doctor, like Mama Papa's hopes, and my dreams." Marry said in a loud voice.

Marry tried to wipe away her tears. William held onto Marry's shoulder, then helped her wipe away the tears that kept flowing.

"You want to tell me who did that to me?" William asked with a serious look.

Marry let go of William's hand, and looked the other way. Sighing deeply.

"Let me, in the meantime I keep it in my heart. It's better now, Will. Thank you." Thank you." Mary looked at William.

William nodded and restarted his car and continued their journey again.
