Suddenly Papa
Reason

Marry knocked on Alice's door and opened it. Alice sat curled up on her bed.

Alice stared out through the window of her room. She still feels traumatized to see people running after her and her mother while in the hospital.

Marry slowly approached Alice with a faint smile.

Marry sat on the lip of the bed, next to Alice. Gently stroked her daughter's hair, and looked at her affectionately.

"Eat yuk, Mama has made your favorite Mac and cheese. Mama also made chocolate cake with Oreo toppings. Later, on it we give vanilla ice cream, then we... Hap! Eat all!" Marry tries to comfort Alice who is still in shock with the incident earlier this afternoon when she visits Kevin. The one who arrived, Brenda, Kevin's lover, who works as a model and artist came to visit by bringing a group of infotainment reporters to cover his visit to visit Kevin.

Alice turned to Marry and hugged him tightly.

"I love Mama." Alice Sahut.

"I love you too." Marry held her daughter's face and kissed Alice's cheek with affection.

"Come, we'll eat!" Marry lifted Alice's body to get off her bed.

Mary looked at Alice, then smiled.

"There are you. That was enough for my mom. You're everything to Mama." Marry Sahut.

"Mama, can I know who my dad is?" Urge Alice.

Marry put down her spoon and leaned her body on the back of the chair, then looked at Alice.

"If you open Papa Kevin, I don't have a problem either." Alice assured Mary.

Marry smiled amusedly at the words of his daughter.

"Don't dream! Kevin's from a rich family, Mama's just like this, a commoner. Then why are you able to deduce Kevin your Papa?" Mary asked Alice.

"Mama once said that my papa is not a random person. He's a smart guy, like me. He's an MIT graduate, and my intelligence is down from him." Answer Alice.

Marry chuckles.

"You think the smart one is just him? MIT students are many." Marry chuckles.

"Sttts.... Please for this one, just be our secret!" Marry advanced her body while looking at Alice seriously.

"So, she went to MIT?" Alice asked enthusiastically.

Marry just shrugged his shoulders.

"Why didn't Mama ever look for her?"

"Alright, Honey! My mom is so grateful and happy to have you. Then there's Aunt Sophie, Uncle Ben, Liam, Nana, Uncle Will. You should be thankful for all of this too."

"But I want to see my mom happy with a guy, like the parents of my other friends."

Marry hugged Alice and kissed her forehead.

"Alice, my mom is so happy. Already, let's finish this food."

"Ma, if Kevin likes you, will Mama like him too?" Alice asked arrived.

"If you don't like Kevin, you're okay, right?" Mary asked Alice.

"I'm fine. I just want someone to protect you." Answer Alice.

Mary hugged Alice with affection.

In his heart, he was grateful to have a daughter who understood his situation. But the wounds inside her, the sadness of the events seven years ago, made her reluctant to reconnect with another man.

Marry and Alice resumed their dinner laughing and joking. Marry tries to make Alice forget her desire to have a father.

One Week later....

Joe has cleared up the issue with the infotainment reporter. The news about Brenda visiting Kevin is indeed a headline on the gossip tabloid. However, there were no news or photos of Mary or Alice there.

The police have also arrested the man who robbed and mistreated Kevin. Kevin's gadgets and wallet have returned to their owners.

Now, Kevin has been discharged from the hospital, and returned to his comfortable apartment. Mama and Papa ask the two servants to come to Kevin's apartment to serve him as long as his health has not recovered. However, Kevin refused. He had hired a servant at his residence. And if you need anything, Joe's gonna help you. That is the reason for both of his parents.

"What is my agenda today?" Kevin asked as Joe walked into the apartment to pick him up.

"Meeting with several clients, after lunch, schedules with the hospital and police about the use of technology systems for the forensic division. Night, accompany Brenda, invitation to a birthday party of one of her artist friends." Joe told Kevin all of the day's schedules.

Kevin listened while nodding his head, while enjoying a chocolate muffin from Marry's tavern.

"Have you ever met Marry after yesterday? I'm worried about Alice. I wanted to ask, but afraid, she was angry, because of that." Kevin took a deep breath.

"I've cleared everything up. There's no news or the name of Mary or Alice, not even a picture of her." Sahut Joe's.

"good. If I call him, will he get angry?"

"If, you're well-intentioned and deliver well, I don't think he'll get angry." Answer Joe.

Kevin was silent for a moment.

"Joe, please cancel my party with Brenda. I want to go on vacation tonight. You can take a vacation too, and meet your girl." Tukas Kevin pat Joe on the shoulder.

Joe just smiled, hearing Kevin say he wanted to take a vacation.

Joe is very sure, tonight he will definitely be heading to a place.

Joe is very confident Kevin will meet Marry and Alice.
