Breakfast Together

BRAAKKK..!!

The door was closed hard and hard. Kevin and Alice were shocked to hear it.

Now, they just stay together and look at each other.

For a moment they fell silent, and finally they laughed together.

"All right, come in." Kevin said after Brenda's departure filled with frustration.

Alice walked in, putting her backpack on the living room sofa.

Alice walked towards the window, looking at the view of the skyscraper in front of her in amazement.

As long as Alice was amazed at the building, Kevin immediately contacted his assistant to come over.

"I want you to come in ten minutes!" Kevin said, no matter what his assistant would do to get to his apartment in ten minutes.

Alice approached the closet containing several awards about Kevin's work in technology. Good for education to the state.

Award from a direct country, or community.

"Older, I can definitely make technology cooler than yours!" Alice muttered as she looked and read the array of awards displayed in the glass cabinet.

Kevin smiled when he heard Alice's words.

"What do you want for breakfast?" Kevin led Alice to the kitchen.

Kevin opened the fridge and took out the milk and put it on the dinner table. Then he took the bread and peanut butter and chocolate in the cupboard.

"Mama always makes you toast for breakfast, or a bowl of cereal for my breakfast before school." Whine Alice while looking at Kevin.

"Oh, so, you want this bread I baked in the microwave? Or where?" Kevin asked confusedly.

The little girl got out of her chair, sliced the bread, and put it in a non-stick pan, then lit the stove.

"Heart, it's hot..." Kevin watched and looked at Alice who was baking bread on teflon on the stove. Then put the bread there, wait for a while and then turn the bread over slowly and carefully.

About three minutes of baking, Alice took the bread with a spatula and put it on the plate.

Kevin's kitchen though small and simple, but has quite complete cooking utensils, and it seems Alice is used to the kitchen, and knows the function of the cookware well.

Alice takes him to the dinner table and puts him in front of Kevin.

"Please try, Pa. It's delicious, especially if it's smeared with chocolate and peanut butter together." Alice said as she did what she said.

Alice ate the bread she had concocted herself, Kevin subconsciously smiled as he watched the little girl put the bread into his little mouth and chewed as if enjoying the bread with pleasure.

Kevin was actually still alert and slightly stunned when the little girl called Papa to him.

Kevin took the mineral water and gulped it down. It feels better. He was still watching the little girl in front of him, who was now enjoying a glass of milk after finishing the jam bread.

Just as Alice put down her milk glass, Kevin's apartment door opened.

A man enters.

"Boss, here I bring you breakfast, as always!" He cried while raising both hands, each carrying coffee and a bag of bread from a famous coffee shop, especially if not Starbucks.

"Come in, Joe!" Kevin's orders.

Joe walks into the kitchen and is shocked to see a little girl with Kevin.

"Boss, did Brenda turn into a child?" Joe asked still looking at Alice and looked at Kevin alternately.

Kevin approached Joe and patted him on the shoulder.

"Please meet him yourself!" Kevin took the coffee and bread brought by Joe.

Kevin took a sip of his coffee, gazing at Joe who was still stunned at Alice who was busy smearing bread with peanut butter and chocolate, then ate it.

"I'll take a shower and get ready, accompany her first!" Kevin said to Joe.

Joe just nodded, his eyes still staring at Alice.

"Uncle, will?" He asked while offering his concoction jam bread.

Joe nodded and accepted the bread. Joe ate.

"Don't kid!" He said while chewing bread.

Alice smiled.

"I'm sure the bread smeared with a combination of nuts and chocolate is the most delicious taste." He said with a happy smile.

"What's your name? And why are you here?" Search Joe.

"I'm Alice. I'm here because my mom is working out of town. My aunt who used to take care of me had a very noisy baby. So that I can't take care of me well. So, Mama told me to come here." Alice in the style of a child.

However, the truth is Alice lied, she came to Kevin's house out of her own will, Marry, her mother didn't tell her.

"Why should it be here?" Joe frowned in surprise.

"Because Kevin is my Dad. She's the only family we have other than my aunt who's busy taking care of the baby." Alice Sahut.

Joe was surprised. Mouth gaping and eyes glaring. He really couldn't believe what he just heard.

"really? Then what age are you? Who's Mama?" Joe probed with a barrage of questions out of curiosity.

Alice nodded as she looked at Joe, reassuring.

"I'm six years old, my mom's called Marry. This is proof that I'm Kevin's daughter. My mom's dating Kevin." Alice takes a photo she keeps in her bag, and shows Joe to convince him.

Joe took the picture and watched it. Joe tries to remember Marry's look, which Alice says is his mother.

Joe seemed to have seen Marry's face, but he wasn't sure either.

"How are you sure Kevin is your father? Or were you just told by your mama to claim to be his only son, because Kevin is a rich man?" Joe probes.

Alice shook her head and looked at Joe.

"My mother once said that, papa is a very famous and great person, besides, I have the cleverness passed down by my papa. Then he showed me this photo. This is the only memory of my mom with my dad back then." Alice told a story while staring at a picture of Kevin embracing Marry, Alice's mother.

Joe looked at the photo again. From the pictures seen, the photo was taken during Kevin's 25th birthday party, if he wasn't mistaken. However, he tries to remember Marry's look and face among all the guests who came or the girl who was partying with Kevin with his friend that night. However, Joe still hasn't managed to remember Marry, as he also had a lot to drink that night.

"So, today what's the agenda, little girl?" Kevin, who had finished his bath and was wearing his work clothes, approached Alice and Joe.

Kevin while putting his tie up nimble and fast, then tidying up, and wearing his suit.

"I start school at 9 and go home at 3pm." Alice Sahut.

"Well, I'll take you to school." Said Kevin while sipping his coffee slowly.

Alice finished her meal and put dirty glasses and dishes in the sink.

"Already, just let it be there. Someone's gonna clean up and clean this up." Said Kevin.

"Let's go!" Take Kevin then, grabbing the tab and his phone. Then he hurried to the door.

Alice tidied up her clothes, then picked up her backpack.

Alice opened her backpack, and took out a few pieces of her clothes, and put them on the sofa. Then closed the bag again, and put it on his back.

Kevin looked at Joe as Alice left her clothes on the sofa. Joe could only shrug his shoulders and shake his head.

"It's ready!" Alice said cheerfully.

Joe opens the door, allowing Alice to exit, followed by Kevin and closes the door to Kevin's apartment.

They head towards the elevator to get down to the parking lot where Kevin's car is parked.

Ting..!

The elevator doors opened, and now they are in a car park lined with luxury cars there.

Kevin throws a car key at Joe, then Joe presses a button, and he hears the sound of an open door alarm from a luxury SUV with the Porche logo.
