Emily and Joe head to Kevin's apartment to check on her condition. There was a sound of people vomiting from the toilet in Kevin's room as soon as the apartment door opened.

"Jeek... Yuck... Yuck..!"

Emily rushed towards the direction of the sound. Kevin curled up near the toilet spewing out his entrails.

Emily approached her sister and rubbed Kevin's back. Emily thrust out a tissue and rubbed her sister who looked pale and limp.

Joe helped pick Kevin up and frowned, looking at his pathetic-looking boss.

Emily made him a ginger drink, then took him to the living room. Pointing at Kevin who had been sitting languidly on the sofa, with Joe.

"Thank you, Brother." Kevin said as he received the mug from his brother. Kevin took a sip of ginger water and put it on the table.

"What happened to you?" Joe patted Kevin on the shoulder.

Kevin grimaced and laughed. He was laughing at himself actually. Laughing at his stupidity in a time when there is an important job at the moment.

Emily sat crossed her hands in front of her chest while looking intently at her sister.

Kevin could only gulp when he saw his brother staring like that. She knew, Emily this time was so mad at her. And it is thanks to him that his work can be saved. This isn't his first time.

"I don't know what happened to me. Really!" Said Kevin bowed while staring at his golden water mug.

"Because of Alice?" Joe guessed while holding the little girl's pony doll.

Kevin turned to look at Joe while shaking his head.

Kevin was embarrassed to tell the real story, that he was stupid like this because he saw a red mark on Marry's neck, like when he gave a kiss to a woman who had slept with him. Kevin can't imagine Marry making love and sleeping with another man. If I can be honest, she's jealous.

But why be jealous?

Again Kevin just silence and sip ginger water to relieve nausea and dizziness due to alcoholic drinks that are too much in his body.

"Kev, you're an adult. The company is not a company. And that client of yours, not some random person. This time you get a naval client, and you do a fool like this! You got no brains, huh?!" Emily growled while looking at Kevin.

"Listen, this time papa and mama don't know. But, if it repeats. I wouldn't hesitate to say everything to Mom and Dad. And kick you out of the Mars Company. Catch that!" Threaten Emily while pointing at Kevin's chest.

Kevin just kept quiet and didn't reply saying anything. Then she stood up and hugged Emily.

"Thank you, Brother. I promise I won't repeat!" Whisper Kevin while hugging Emily.

Emily patted Kevin on the back and stretched their arms.

"I have to go. There were calls and messages from the hospital. Dan, remember! You owe me a story about the cause of all this and many other stories that I didn't know before, like the doll's owner." Tukas Emily pointed at Alice's doll.

Kevin chuckled while shaking his head.

After Emily leaves Kevin's apartment. Joe sat back on the couch.

"So what really happened to you?" Ask Joe.

"I saw Marry with another man." Kevin's voice is almost inaudible.

Kevin's answer had made Joe stunned and glared.

Kevin took a deep breath and looked at Joe.

"Maybe his mood is good. Or a lot of people." Sela Joe's.

"I accidentally noticed Marry and saw a kiss on her neck." Kevin said, throwing his eyes out the window.

For a moment Joe fell silent, trying to digest every confession that came out of Kevin's mouth. Joe knows his best friend. Just this time he heard Kevin felt frustrated to vent with a drunkenness, to forget his important worker, just because he saw a kiss mark on a woman's neck.

Suddenly Joe laughed out loud for a moment after realizing the meaning of all that.

Kevin is jealous, and that means Kevin likes Marry.

"Jeez Kev!?" Joe cried out while being crushed.

Kevin could only smile wryly and shift his gaze. She felt ashamed.

"You're in love with Marry?" Joe asked, this time in a serious tone.

"I don't know." Kevin's mouth while raising his shoulders.

"Today I had a chance to meet with Marry and Justin at the store. They both left after that." Joe said, recounting the incident with Marry and Justin.

"Justin?" Kevin frowned.

"Yes, Mary's boyfriend at school."

Kevin and Joe both sighed this time while enjoying a cigarette to calm the mind.

"Justin." Muttered Kevin.

"There's a chance that Justin's the biological father of Alice." Chirps Joe.

"But I feel like he's my flesh and blood." Kevin Sahut.

"How can you say that?"

"I don't know for sure. But my instinct told me that Alice was my daughter. He has shellfish and shrimp allergies, just like me, and then he has a high IQ, and the same craze as me with a variety of science technologies." Answer Kevin.

"You want a DNA test with Alice?" Ask Joe seriously.

Kevin was silent. Suddenly he became afraid to know the reality, if if Alice turned out to be true not his daughter.

I don't know, he felt he had an inner bond with the little girl. And from some of their encounters and togetherness, build a love for Alice. And that feeling grew and grew when I saw Marry.

The figure of a young woman, a persistent single mother, beautiful, and strong opinion. Kevin just this time met a woman like that. He dared to fight Kevin, even ignoring Kevin. As if it does not care even at all not interested when hearing the name Mars.

If, he did a DNA test, and found out the truth, then disappointed. Kevin doesn't want that to happen.

He wants to continue to think of Alice as his daughter, and take Marry's heart, then make her fall in love with him.

However, on the other side of his heart, in still certain, Alice was his daughter. Kevin just needs to think back to seven years ago. What did he do to Marry, right on his 25th birthday?
