Episode 15: Preparation (2)

The car stopped in a parking lot.

Gaea glanced out and was surprised that there were so many reporters outside that there was even a red carpet all in front of the building as if it was an award show, "I guess it's just an auction!? Why are there all these reporters?"

"You forgot the viral proposal" said Eryk. "I have to change plans at the last minute because of your actions, thankfully my partners are kind, they want to understand our 'sacred' engagement" he said, emphasizing the word sacred.

"Then Young Master, why did you propose to me at first?" ask Gaea. "You must have another way to persuade your lover to run away, right?" backbite.

"You didn't give me much choice" said Eryk. "You're the most stubborn woman I've ever met, beyond Lola even Lola's still willing to obey me."

Gaea is most dislike to be equated especially with Lola who blatantly has hidden the fact she is Enzo family like Eryk, "Of course she complies because she is an Enzo as well."

Eryk was a little surprised to hear it before his expression calmed down again, "I don't have much time serving things that can't make money like—"

"Can't make money!?" Gaea did not believe what she had just heard. "I spent a year working at your place, hey Young Master!"

"Oh boy, you guys just kissed me" Alex said. "My ears hurt every time you fight, hey!"

Gaea.

It is true, when he and Eryk were together, there was no day without quarreling, either from Eryk or him first. They are like water and oil, unable to unite.

"All right," said Eryk. "When you came out, you just had to smile because my plan to announce our engagement was over after the auction."

"There again?" ask Gaea.

Eryk nodded, "I'm having a party after the auction, because this engagement is sudden so I'm going to introduce there to my co-workers, make you official as well" he explained, then yawned. "Beneficial also the women will stay away from me eventually."

Introducing her to Eryk's co-worker seems to have to keep putting a fake smile on her lips and of course, because Eryk describes herself as a shy woman who is completely contrary to her nature.

"Is there alcohol?" ask Gaea.

Eryk laughed, "You want to get drunk? Of course there are but I limit the person who drinks to only a maximum of two glasses."

"What's wrong" said Gaea. "I drink to relax a little."

Eryk smirked slightly, "I'll go out first, Gaea, I warn you not to talk unnecessarily," after saying so, Gaea, he got out of the car and reached out his hand to Gaea who was inside.

Gaea took a few breaths before finally welcoming Eryk's helping hand, as getting out of the car were already so many reporters gathered near them, he was grateful there was a barrier fence so reporters were not too close to him.

Eryk hooked their arms, guiding them into the building but, earlier he gave a sweet smile to the reporters.

Gaea followed with a smile as well, he felt his smile was not as good as Eryk, knowing he was not used to fake smiles. He also let Eryk answer some of the questions the reporters asked, he just stood sweet like a pathetic doll.

After being satisfied enough, Eryk continued his steps inward, "You want to stay behind?" tanyakanya.

"Eh? Why?" ask Gaea.

"Because this auction event will be boring for you," said Eryk, to be honest he was also, but because Kervyn was happy to collect rare items, so forced to go into business like this. "You can take a break, there's a room for you, you can have a drink there."

"Really?" Gaea spirit for a moment, he does not need to put a sweet smile on others? He could be content to keep silent until the auction event was over.

Eryk nodded, "But I'm not going, I'm going to control the auction, I'm going to run this." and he wanted to see if there were any signs of Kervyn.

"Oh," Gaea muttered disappointedly, of course, dating entrepreneurs should accept the fact that they are super busy people. "Hm ...,"—maybe the auction event is not too boring if there is Eryk—? The corner of his lips was pulled upwards.

"You've come, Eryk-san."

Gaea turned her head towards the source of the voice, behind them was a young man in glasses complete with his black suit smiling at her.

"Ah, Aozora-san," said Eryk as he extended his hand. "I'm sorry, I'm a little late for answering some questions from the reporters."

Aozora welcomed Eryk's hand, shaking him, "Of course, you just proposed to a woman at the airport, it must be hot news right now" he said with a chuckle recalling him, his gray eyes involuntarily fell on the young lady beside Eryk whom he had become familiar with on television. "You brought your fiancee here?"

Eryk smiled, "Yes, he's my fiancee, his name is Gaea Silva" he said. "Gaea, meet her Aozora Natt—"

Gaea returned from her shock, and welcomed Aozora's nervous hands, "Me too" she said.

That young man in the name of Aozora is really handsome! And looks much younger than Eryk. His name is also like a Japanese name but why does his face not approach Japanese at all? More to Europe.

Whatever it is adds to Gaea's mood at this auction event, there's another handsome young businessman.

'I am single, my fiance status is from the outside only,'

"If you don't mind Miss Gaea-san, I'd like to discuss this event together with Eryk-san" Aozora said.

"Oh, alright." said Gaea innocently.

"Then Rainer will accompany you, Gaea" said Eryk.

"All right." said Rainer.

Eryk goes with Aozora.

Gaea himself was slightly jolted by Rainer's voice behind him, the young man was too silent that he was unaware of Rainer's whereabouts.

"Would you like to go to the room or would you like to join the auction?" Rainer asked.

"Eh? Why am I a participant?" gaea asked back, confused. If you want, he also does not have much money to buy diamonds here.

"Yes maybe you want to take a look, there are some artists as well" Rainer said as he looked at the crowd of auction attendees.

Gaea followed Rainer's gaze, "Seriously, this isn't really a party?" he asked when what Rainer said was true of a celebrity. "I think it's usually the collector's guy who goes along with things like this."

"Artists aren't collectors either, hm?" Rainer asked full of teasing.

"I mean ...," Gaea lost her words. "Of course I know, it's just that I'm amazed Eryk has such a wide association."

"That's how business people are, Gaea," Rainer said. "Eryk also sometimes likes to walk with celebrities but after meeting Katherine it's no longer, you know, love."

"Oh," Katherine how could Gaea forget the figure of Eryk's real lover, which strangely until now never appeared. "We go to the room" he said.

Rainer nodded, then ushered in Gaea's room.

The room is not small nor too big, nor neat, Gaea liked it when she just entered, "Hey, Rainer?" call him.

"Hm?"

"Can you get me a drink?" pinta Gaea slowly. "I don't know the place and you know I don't like strangers at all."

"You started out like Eryk, huh?" rainer said but before Gaea could answer, he continued. "I'll get it, what do you like?"

As a bartender, Gaea had tried many drinks but the one that stuck in his heart was only one. "Wine."

Rainer immediately came out after hearing Gaea's reply.

Gaea glanced out the window, the auctioneers began to arrive walking on the red carpet that had been passed by him, he thought how many guests had come tonight.

Cklek.

"Oh." So soon Rainer picked up a drink. Gaea looked behind her, and was a little shocked to learn it wasn't Rainer.

"Hello, Gaea-san."
