Chapter 7: The Eryk House

Gaea who did not want to interfere in Eryk's business affairs preferred to wait outside the room.

What's the point of knowing Eryk's business? He is nobody.

After knowing the business runs like that throw away the desire to be a businessman when starting college is a good decision.

Gaea will not be able to do the same thing that Eryk is doing right now because she is a positive woman or Rainer said too innocently.

Gaea glanced at the watch in her hand.

Gaea never expected that he would return so soon to Eryk's private house, this morning because he was too tired, he had not had time to pay attention to the mansion, he said, and now the focus of his eyes has returned so he can pay close attention to the cream-painted house with a light gray roof decorated with several trees to give the impression of green house.

The man named Sebastian nodded respectfully, "Yes" he said as he opened the door for others including Gaea.

Gaea got out of the car slightly raising her eyebrows in wonder as the black eyes of the man named Sebastian widened to look at her before returning to normal to open the door for Rainer.

'My feelings or is he shocked to see me?'

Maybe Sebastian won't think he'll see her again? Although Gaea wasn't sure this morning they met. He was too tired to look around.

"Katherine didn't come here?" ask Eryk.

"So I got here before I left again" said Sebastian. "If it's acceptable, Miss Katherine looks upset before she leaves."

Eryk gritted his teeth in frustration, it seemed like Katherine had seen the video of the application so she was angry.

Anyone who records his application at the airport does not value a person's privacy, they can be subject to the law if he objected of course.

Fortunately, Eryk was not that kind of man.

Eryk has accepted himself as a meme on the internet.

Maybe it's because of that video that Eryk hasn't received any word from Katherine today.

Eryk sat on the living room couch and started typing emails for Katherine asking to meet, only to sigh heavily after sending the email.

"I can rest for a while finally" Rainer said as he yawned.

"Are you not asleep?" gaea asked, and he realized immediately that under Rainer's eyes there was a dark circle that indicated that the young man was sleep deprived.

"No," Rainer said as he sat next to Eryk, and began to close his black eyes.

Rainer glanced for a moment before closing his eyes again, "I forgot we have a stepmother now."

"What!?" who's the stepmother?

"Rather than fighting, you better get ready" said Eryk, tiring of hearing Gaea's babble.

"Me?" Gaea pointed at herself innocently.

Eryk nodded. "You'll accompany me to the auction."

"Why should I?" ask Gaea.

"Duh," Eryk felt it was a stupid question he heard or was Gaea a genius woman but a slow one? It doesn't make sense. "You're my fiance, remember? Aizawa will be suspicious if I'm alone."

"Oh," Gaea understood now. "Can I not come?" he asked, entering the business world Eryk does not make it comfortable, "i'm sick or what it is."

Eryk looked at her as if to say: are you serious, right? Then he got up, "I forgot to have a meeting with my co-workers so I had to go," he glanced at the watch in his hand, "and when I got back, I wanted you to be tidy, Gaea." cold command.

Gaea patted her on the forehead; of course Eryk would not approve of it, still commanding at will, "Hm," he murmured softly, thinking.

Although annoying, Gaea realizes Eryk left her alone in this mansion which means he is free to do anything without getting angry.

A brilliant idea came up.

"Sebastian, when will Eryk come back?" ask Gaea.

"Mr Eryk is likely to come in two or three more hours considering this meeting discussed the auction event as well" Sebastian explained.

Gaea jumps for joy; two hours is enough to make her have fun on her own.

"Don't think no."

Gaea was a little surprised to hear Rainer's voice, he forgot if the young man did not come with Eryk this time, maybe Eryk let Rainer to rest or if the business partner Eryk met was trusted.

"I don't" said Gaea. "I just want to walk around for a minute."

Being able to see his boss' house was something rare so Gaea might waste this golden opportunity, and maybe he would know a little about Katherine that Eryk talked about earlier.

No answer from Rainer was precisely the soft snoring sound coming out of the young man's lips, which signaled as approval for Gaea.

Xander looks younger in the photo, there is no gray hair on the strands of his hair as well as wrinkles on his face, indicating if Gaea's guess is correct. Interestingly, Xander was surrounded by six small children who were six years old ...?

Gaea instantly recognized the short blond-haired little boy who had sky-blue eyes that Xander had on his lap, he was certain that one hundred percent was Eryk, who was a child, and he couldn't stop being amazed to see the cute little Eryk showing off the innocent smile on his lips.

'Eryk went from being a sweet kid to a shitty guy.'

His green eyes glanced at the other little boy, and was a little confused.

'This is my feeling or are they all Eryk's subordinates?'

Gaea believes the brunettes standing next to Eryk are Alex, as well as the two black-haired youngsters Rainer and Ferdinand.

What the hell's going on?

"They're all Mr. Xander's foster children."
