Episode 8: Enzo Family

Gaea was a little surprised to hear a heavy voice beside her, she quickly turned her head and smiled with relief it was Sebastian, "All, Mr Sebastian?" tanyakanya.

"Oh, don't call me Master, Miss Gaea. Just call me Sebastian" Sebastian said with a small smile. "Yes, they're all Mr. Xander's adopted sons."

Gaea looked back at the photo, "Really? So Eryk hired them?"

Sebastian nodded, "You could say family business "

Gaea glanced again at the photo, her green eyes were fixed on the little girl standing in the middle among the men, she felt she had seen the little girl. "If you don't mind, may I ask who this girl is?" tanyakanya.

Sebastian glanced at the photo, then smiled softly nostalgic with the Eryk family photo, "Ah."

Gaea's green eyes widened.

A lola?

Sebastian says the little girl is named Lola!?

A lola?

A lola?

"What!?" exclaims Gaea in shock. "You mean this Lola?" he shows the screen of his phone with a picture of him, Lola and Ava, his finger pointing at a picture of Lola.

Sebastian looked at Gaea's phone for a while and nodded, "Yes, that's Miss Lola," she said, "Miss Lola grew up to be a beautiful woman."

Gaea's lips were wide open; not believing what she had just heard that Lola belonged to the Enzo family's adopted son as well as Eryk's brother. He clenched his hands on his chest, frustrated.

'Why didn't Lola tell me a secret this big?' Gaea wondered in her heart.

Gaea doesn't know what to respond to this, though, of course he appreciated the privacy of Lola who refused to tell him about the status of the Enzo family's adopted son but on the other hand he was obviously disappointed to have to know something of this magnitude from the mouth of Eryk's servant.

'He always thought how to make a lot of money when he was actually the adopted son of the Enzo family.'

And again they had been friends since elementary school, he felt Lola didn't trust him enough after all they had been through together, he wondered if Lola had been acting in front of him and Ava all this time?

'Lola must have had a strong reason.' Gaea said encouragingly in her heart.

Gaea exhaled, and went back to look at the family photo of Eryk again, and now her green eyes were on the little blonde boy with light brown eyes that were unfamiliar to her, "Set this kid ...?" he asked while pointing at the little boy he had seen earlier.

"Oh, he's Mr. Kervyn." Sebastian said.

"Silky ..." Gaea is a stranger to hearing her name.

"Mr Kervyn is also Mr. Eryk's brother" Sebastian said.

"Oh," Gaea realized that there was indeed a resemblance between them only the color of their eyes that distinguished; if he sees Eryk's sky blue eyes make him calm somehow Kervyn's light brown eyes make him uncomfortable. "Then where is this Kervyn?"

A little strange he had never heard the name Kervyn considering Eryk is a young businessman who is on the rise.

Although Kervyn did not enter the business world like Eryk, he believes Kervyn must have been touched upon because of their resemblance.

Sebastian exhaled, a little hesitant to say, "Mr Kervyn is already ti—"

"You're here apparently."

"Huh?" Gaea turned her head. "Rainer?" do you think the young man is asleep?

Rainer walked over, "Wouldn't a guest not go around without the homeowner's permission?"

"Oh," Gaea realized what she was doing was wrong; she couldn't help but sit around waiting for Eryk to come home or for Rainer to wake up. "You sleep, I'm bored, so ...."

Rainer let out a small breath, "Go back to the living room."

Gaea said nothing, according to her, sitting on the sofa with mixed feelings; she was wrong.

"Miss Gaea wants a drink?" ask Sebastian politely.

"Tea yes .." talking about drinking makes his throat dry let alone attack in the apartment still slightly makes him limp. "Sure" he said; refusing was not good either.

Sebastian went straight to the kitchen after hearing Gaea's reply.

Gaea heard the sofa opposite him squeak a little, he saw Rainer sitting back, one thing he realized, the young man seemed to have changed clothes.

Rainer now wears a white short-sleeved T-shirt and black jeans, reminiscent of the clothes Rainer wore in the mall except without a black jacket.

Rainer crossed his legs, his brows furrowing. "You can't really be quiet?"

"Excuse me ...?"

Of the many questions and topics of conversation, Rainer chose a topic of conversation that provoked his emotions?

Gaea bit her lip; why was Rainer so cold to her? Whereas earlier in the restaurant, the young man was so protective of her that he touched her heart. He does not understand Rainer's way of thinking, if Eryk is the type who uses brutal words to express his feelings, Rainer is the opposite.

Gaea is surprised that Eryk and Rainer can be best friends.

And what the hell is that too? Hasn't he answered been asked to be quiet?

Where did Rainer care?

Talking cares ....

"Your words at the restaurant earlier, what does that mean?" gaea asked, opening the conversation.

"You really don't understand the word 'enough', do you?" ask Rainer back.

Gaea clenched her hands in annoyance, "Can you stop being hot and cold? You did it for me so don't I have the right to know the reason for that, Rainer?"

Rainer did not answer.

"Rainer" said Gaea impatiently.

"I did what I had to do as your friend, and Eryk's best friend" Rainer said.

"I've heard it" said Gaea. "More details."

"Me and Eryk are not good men" Rainer said, looking straight at Gaea, seriously. "That's all I can say." he continued and stood up.

Gaea was dissatisfied with Rainer's answer, for him it was still ambiguous, not that good men had many meanings, they were both not good in what terms? That's the question. Seeing Rainer again walking towards the stairs to the top floor it signaled the young man did not want to chat anymore.

"I'll find out about you sooner or later, you know," Gaea said. "You don't have to be so mysterious."

Rainer stop. "I know."

"Why Rainer!?" exclaiming Gaea slightly raised her tone. Did you know Rainer didn't like anything important kept secret from him? Especially if it has something to do with him?

"Because when you find out, I'll tell you: I told you, right?" sahut Rainer, then continued his footsteps. "Just enjoy being 'engaged' Eryk."

Gaea wanted to say a little more of her feelings but Rainer already sounded cold, so he swallowed his feelings bitterly.

"It's chamomile tea."

"Eh ..." Tea? The delicate fragrance of the flower touched his nose as Sebastian placed the cup on the table, making him a little calm. His eyes glanced at the cup that contained the light yellow-colored tea.

"It's nice to see you again Miss Gaea" Sebastian said. "Miss looks even prettier than the last time we met."

"What?" Gaea was confused to hear it, he had never met Sebastian, why did Sebastian speak as if they had? Did he forget or Sebastian? "Have we met before?"

"Oh," Sebastian remembered something. "Miss certainly doesn't remember it because it used to be a kid."

"Oh." Gaea felt that it made sense, when he was a child, he had not paid attention to people around him, he was too traumatized left by his parents at that time so he had to move out of town for the safety of his life.

Although in the end he returned to New York, but he had to change his family name because the perpetrators of the murder of his parents have not been caught until now.

"Please pay attention to Mr. Eryk" Sebastian said.

"Eh?"

"Sometimes Mr. Eryk will do something that is beyond his means" Sebastian said. "Miss Gaea as Mr. Eryk's fiancee certainly can, right?"

"Ha .. ha .. ha ..." Gaea laughs awkwardly.heard Sebastian put so much trust in him—people he just knew like an invisible prick in his heart; how could he lie to people like Sebastian about their fake applications? Even so he said. "I tried."

Sebastian had a big smile, a smile so sincere that it made Gaea smile too.

"You're still not getting ready, Gaea?" rainer's calm voice broke the silence of the living room.

"Prepared?" Gaea wonders.

Rainer checked his phone first. "I forgot to tell you like that."

"What?" gaea asked impatiently, he still had not forgiven Rainer's cold attitude earlier.

"We're back in your apartment" Rainer said, still busy typing something on his phone.

"What!?" gaea's green eyes rounded instantly. "Why should I go there?"

Gaea did not understand, did Rainer know just now he and Eryk were attacked by people who were about to steal something in his apartment so why should he return? He was not sure the police would let them in.

"Because you're gonna start living here, Gaea."
