Chapter 61: The First Date

The atmosphere of Sitka is so crowded, Gaea remembered that now it was about the new year's night, lucky that he still had a plane here if not, maybe he stayed again at Eryk's hotel.

Gaea still remembers how sad her foster mother let go and Lola at the harbor made her realize how valuable she was considering she was so eager to return to New York for not being able to bear with her foster sister trying to touch her.

His fear made him blind to the affection of his adoptive mother.

"Maybe we should cancel this date," Rainer suddenly stopped and said that.

Their hands grasping each other automatically made Gaea stop as well, tilting her head in confusion, "Eh? Why?"

Rainer smiled at Gaea's innocent-looking behavior in her eyes, taking one bite of her food after saying, "Itadakimasu," felt the taste in each of her slow chews, "Enak once," he said after swallowing food in his mouth.

"My recommendation must have been great" said Gaea, proud to have made Rainer love food

"I want to try yours too" Rainer said.

Gaea happily thrust out her food, turning the sandwich across from her bite, "This."

Rainer accepted it, turned the sandwich back around and then bit it, chewed it slowly, "True you said, it's delicious" he said, putting the food back on the table.

Gaea herself did not reply, shocked to see Rainer biting the sandwich at the place of his bite, her mind went wild, judging that they had shared a kiss indirectly, she coughed nervously, and took her sandwich, she said, staring at the bite of Rainer and himself.

"What's? You disgusted with me? I'm healthy Gaea, if I don't believe we can check in the hospital right now," Rainer said coldly seeing the woman never eat again.

"That's not what I mean!" exclaim Gaea shy.

"Then?"

Gaea glanced sheepishly at Rainer.

How could Gaea have said that they were indirectly kissing? He could be ridiculed by Rainer for thinking too far about something as small as this.

Gaea finally continued her meal with a red hue on her cheek, spending it straight in one bite.

"Hey, slow down and eat" Rainer warned.

Gaea did not listen, busy hitting his chest which felt tight due to food that he chewed stopped in his throat.

"It!" Rainer held out a plastic glass to Gaea watching the woman choke. "You're eating right."

Gaea accepted it, finished the drink that turned orange juice, heaved a sigh of relief feeling that the sandwich had no longer stuck in his throat, "Sorry."

Rainer paid no heed, continuing his meal.

Gaea who had finished eating felt awkward, he glanced at their food truck, it was a pity that the one serving was not a familiar person so could not chat, then glanced beside him, too, everything here turned out to be a couple! Even when someone was kissing, he became embarrassed and looked at Rainer again, without realizing his eyes were fixed on the man's lips.
